The vacuum part of the vabroom is likely meant to just get the annoying line of dust and crumbs left over after sweeping the pile into a dustpan. If you were going to use it to vacuum everything anyway it would be more work to sweep it first.
That’s what I was thinking. For instance I have cats; I sweep daily around their litter boxes, but the broom and dustpan can’t get that last line of fine dust. I don’t want to break out the vacuum every day, so that vacuum/broom would work for that. However, I wondered about how much it can hold, and how easy it is to empty and clean. Honestly, I don’t mind just vacuuming if the dust is that bad.
I saw someone else test these out, and they said they tasted really gross. Not surprising, they look disgusting. I just don’t get the point of them. What is so horrible about a regular candle? These just look so ugly and awful. The “design” choice is bizarre, and I don’t understand how someone decided it looked good enough to mass produce and sell.
I bought a fountain for our cat off of Kickstarter called an Elfin Fountain. I love it because it was designed to be very easy to clean (no weird crevices) and it turns on when she walks by. I’m really happy with it. I also bought a self folding bag that folds down to about the size of MagSafe charger for your phone or a stack of 6 or so credit cards, and secures with an elastic band. When opened, it’s the size of those bags that fold into a pouch. But to fold this one, you just hold it by its tab and shake. It folds itself right back into its pleats and then ease it back into its accordion folds and secure the elastic. I’m not explaining it well, but they’re called Everless SmartBags and I’ve been carrying mine in my purse for almost two years now. I always have it because I might need to carry something I bought or got home with me. And it’s strong enough to carry stuff like milk jugs.
I remember watching the episode on the vabroom on shark tank. So its purpose is after you sweep everything into the dust pan there’s always a little line left over, the vacuum part is to help pick that up. Which is why the little suction part is so small
I just clicked the link. The packaging says “no more dust pans” I was in the same boat as you with using the dust pan then sucking up what’s left over.. I say packaging fail lol

Both my bf and I had water scares when we were kids.. if we didn't have adults to pull us out it could've gone very differently for us both. I was at the end of the dock and leaned over too far and fell in. with all the seaweed I was instantly disoriented about which way was up. Thankfully my older cousin/siblings were right next to me and pulled me out and my parents were just off the dock and rushed over with towels.(unfortunately was covered in leeches which I try to not remember.. x.x) Bf was also on a dock with his cousins as a kid and I forget how he ended up in the water, but his parents were fishing in a boat nearby and saw it happen. He describes this superhero like moment of where his mom zoomed the boat in and did a last minute turn where his dad did a super dive off the boat to come rescue him. We both had swimming lessons, but in deep lakes, seaweed, panic of falling in.. it's very scary. All this to say, I appreciate and love you all for being actual good parents about watching the kids. Anything can go wrong and drowning is not always obvious like in movies.
I love that you give real reviews. Now I want to try it. Thank you. I been watching you for yrs now and also you showed me how to do makeup but not too much. Thank you. Love you. Never commenting ❤
Carob has been considered a substitute for coffee for years. My mom bought this back in the 80s when we were kids. You can buy carob in a big can, and make your own mock coffees.
I can't have coffee. I use roasted dandelion root tea (I steep a pitcher full ahead of time), vanilla syrup, and milk over ice. It tastes just an iced coffee. My husband didn't believe me until he tasted it. It's wild!
I like that the vabroom would "resolve" the issue of the line of dirt that a dust pan leaves. If it's a reasonable price, it may be something added to the cleaning closet (eventually)
What about a video where you test out how much those annoying extra instructions in a recipe really matter? Like how you always say that chilling cookie dough in the fridge before baking makes a big difference. Does sifting the flour? Letting the butter come to room temperature? Adding in one yolk at a time? How many could we skip and not really tell the difference? Love your channel! 🩷
great video idea! i watch a youtuber who does something like that for his channel its called benjamin the baker n he has a ton of shorts that shows things like sifting vs not, melted butter vs room temp etc with visual results so you can see the differences. id still love to see rachel try some of them out esp in a non shorts video but just wanted to let u know about the channel in case it helps you with baking in the mean time. ☺
I’ve tried some of these. This is my experience. Chilling the dough helps so the cookies don’t flatten as much in the oven. Sifting vs not sifting affects the weight of the measured flour at least. If you measure by weight and not volume, you may get a slightly denser product not sifting, but the proportions at least should be correct. If you try to cream butter not room temp, you’re going to not get it mixed well, at least make the job harder for you. I’m not sure about the egg yolk, but I can imagine if you add all at once, it could affect how an emulsion holds, or at least you might have egg splashing everywhere when you go to mix.
@@thumbsarehandy.Ann has already done a video on that, actually! She tested a bunch of different methods on the same base chocolate chip cookie recipe, including refrigeration, freezer, room temp, more/less of certain ingredients, tapping the pan, flattening cookies, oven temperature, length of bake time, and more! It was a very fascinating video to see how each variable impacted the cookie! It’s also worth noting that different recipes for different kinds of cookies and other baked goods can react very differently to different variables. So what happens with chocolate chip cookie dough may be different to what happens with a different type of recipe.

Have you ever tried a coffee straw, like JoGo? I don't think they are in Kickstarter status anymore, but I still wonder if they are effective and easy to clean.
I’m not sure if the broom is supposed to replace the dustpan but rather to help get that little bit left over after you sweep into the pan? In that case it’s already in a thin line. Also did Chris like the candle???
I just buy Dandelion Tea. Then add own flavors. But Dandelion is Close to coffee. Also when you Said Mocha a little loud. My Cat started to get up, then realized it's was the TV. I think that's the 1st time she responded to the TV with Mocha. Yes I named my Cat Mocha( look at Profile Pic)
I don't think the chocolate candle was bloomed...it looked too uniform, maybe? I wonder if it's just part of the pattern on the candle. Either way, I was disappointed that it's basically just a wick on top of a piece of chocolate. I thought it would have been cooler if it melted the chocolate so that the chocolate dripped all over the cupcake.

This was a great video. Thanks Rachel
21:00 It IS my birthday!
The candle seems a bit silly since it doesn't allow for just letting it go.
Can someone explain what the point of sweeping is? Instead of just hoovering? It seems like more work to me
where do you get all of your earrings from?!?!
Where did you get your earrings? They are so pretty!
Rooiboos is Redbush tea from South Africa.
The candles didn’t set right after mixing causing the fat to raise
The chocolate was bloomed
I think u mean Rooibos 😂
LOVE YOUR CHERRY COKE SHIRT!! Yes I’m yelling because I am VERY jealous!!!!❤
That tshirt is awesome where did u get it??!!? ❤❤❤❤
But what about the candle?! 😭 How will I ever know if it's worth buying when I don't even celebrate my own birthday?! 😭 Lol sad but true story
Can you please test the ninja cooler it looks so cool I’m thinking of getting it I trust your opinion
This reminds me of a sad cersion of the shark vacbroom.
Is that not coffee outthere without coffein?
Wait “happy birthday” is copy righted!? 🤣 Omg can you imagine being like “Yep can’t wait to sue people for singing happy birthday” lol
I love these videos ❤
happy birthday for millions.. Really!!!
With the VaBroom....why not just use a normal vacuum? Do people not know you can do that?
Where did you get those mugs?
I might be wrong but I thought I saw “David’s Tea” on the bottom! They do have a very similar looking mug on their website 😊
