It seems pretty bidirectional to me. Can pull from which ever direction you prefer. Just make sure to have the towels being counter pulled against the extra piece when you want to rip.
yeah, the UV on the vacuum thing is basically a very shiny gimmick. UV *does* work as sanitization tool, but unless you're vacuuming *incredibly* slowly, the surfaces aren't actually getting enough exposure to the UV for it to be effective.
UVC at 254 nm non ozone producing light can destroy pathogens in seconds. How much it penetrates is of course a question, but it can help, and quickly. We use it on our pillows to reduce dust mite levels, and it does help. Of course, if you can expose things to sunlight, that is uv. But when you can't...🤷♀️
The extension duster with the flat attachment is one of the BEST cleaning things i EVER bought Rachel! I cleaned everything from my fans with the full duster to underneath my fridge and stove and washer and dryer and bathroom vanities! Yes, it made me THAT happy! 😂
I’m the only one that has the Bissell wash/suction cleaner machine (the big version) and whenever any immediate or external family members need it, they borrow it for a while until someone else needs it. Has been great for us
A brush cleaning party. The machine may be a lot more fun with tequila and appetizers. 🤷🏻♀🤷🏻♀ I just bought damp dusters off Amazon but haven't opened them yet.
I always wonder if these "Viral Cleaning products" work and make life easier. I am always worried they are scams so I don't order. So this video is awesome. Thank you! 👍🏻
The best part is that you come up with a special Hygiene Timesharing concept for your cleaning devices, so you can justify their existence! After already having come up with “brush cleaning parties”! That’s dedication! Lol Fun & entertaining as always! Best wishes ❤
I’ve got a recipe for you to try! 1 can chick peas (drained) 4 T sun butter 😉 (I use cashew butter personally) 1 T of cocoa powder 1/4 c milk. In the blended. Scoop it into little balls and freeze. Melt chocolate chips (3/4 c should be enough) and coconut oil (1 T) Dip frozen mixture into melted chocolate and stick in the fridge 😋 they will be ready to eat when the mixture is not too frozen - Should be like a moose!
Rach...throw your pillows in the dryer on just air dry. It tumbles the dirt out and collects it in the lint trap. Much easier and less labor involved 😊
I love watching these videos of yours! You're so "all the rest of us" and not the model demonstrating them. Love you for that!! ❤ The long duster you used under your cabinets is really great for under and around the refrigerator, washer and dryer, the bed (if you have hardwood floors), and other heavy appliances and furniture. It's also great from dusting walls, ceiling fans and other high places. I use mine a lot.
With the damp duster… they’re amazing for bathrooms especially the sinks. They pick up all the dust from towels etc and it rinses straight off. After the first use they dry down fairly solid but come back to soft when wet. They’ve been the only thing that gets my bathroom actually clean of dust
I don't even use a brush on my hair. Not unless it's really dirty. I usually only brush my hair right before I'm going to wash it. The rest of the time I just use a wide tooth comb. I have a very sensitive scalp and my hair is very fine and it tends to tangle very easily so I don't like using a brush on my hair at all
if y’all are interested in the idea of sharing machines, see if there’s a tool library in your area!! I volunteer with our local one in Chicago and things like furniture shampooers and pressure washers are super popular!
Magic Erasers-I will clean ANYTHING with them. I bought Scrub Daddy sponges based on your recommendation after seeing them for YEARS and I haven't looked back. I just purchased a whole collection of Scrub Daddy sponges for my daughter's new apartment.
I love Rachel and her content so much! Question is the music distracting to anyone else or is it just me? Thank you Rachel for testing stuff to save us money!!!!
I feel like this product is the thing I've been using all my life to push water towards the drain when we clean the floors, or like a patio. Like I don't understand
The uv vacuum seems amazing, but if I understand uv sanitation, you would need to leave it for 10-15 secs in each spot b4 moving it on. Still for things like ur bed or couch that you can't throw into the washer I can definitely see the appeal for being able 2 sanitize things like that.
With the hair brush thing I just have a white brush I keep for clean hair days and a black brush for not-so clean days. It draws out the days I have to wash my brushes. 😊
i remember during covid there were a lot of scam products being sold with uv light for pretty cheap to sanitize your stuff. so ever since that i'm always very skeptical about basically any product that advertises uv lights for cleaning. also i'm pretty sure you're supposed to wear gloves and protective eye gear whenever you're using uv light because it can seriously harm your skin and eyes. so i think a lot of those products just have a purple light and call it uv
I’ve been cleaning my brushes by hand. I have never done it before. I know gross but I have seborrhea dermatitis on my scalp and I think it’s made such a difference. My daughter will now know that you need to clean your hair brushes.
I’ve been thinking of buying and I have no animals. I’ll use the little green machine, on my one rug, (spot clean.). I can’t believe the amount of hair that comes us. It’s crazy.
I love the dusters! I got a knock off version on Amazon and have thrown away my swiffer! They work great as a lint remover as well! I have a sound bar for my TV that has fabric on it and it takes the dust, lint and dog hair right off. I use it on my couch and pillows too. Highly highly recommend
@@Catlandian i mean there is a UV water bottle as well and that needs 3minutes. A UV water filter for well-water can be continuous stream BUT has a way higher UV index, so it depends on how strong that UV is on that vacuum
I feel like the brush cleaner would be really good for professional hairstylists cause the steam should be able to kill off lice and other potential insects that have cross-contaminated brushes from clients.
We like the uv vac on our pillows. While the vac part is fine on the mattress (ours is MUCH bigger and heavier than yours, and costs over $100 now), we can go slow on the pillows to get more dust mites away from our heads and have the uv work longer. Worth taking several minutes per pillow to help our allergies.
Hey Rach, I had not sure if it would work idea but might be a cool way to use the Fancy paper towel dispenser and spray is with hand sanitizer instead of cleaning spray. I can serve more for light messes and disinfecting than heavy duty clean up. I am a guy and have some military background so my default is to sanitize and go so it might be that aspect speaking. It's a nifty gifty. Rach with her cleaning rental service/ time share investments lol
Can you test out that elongated handled electric scrubber brush with various types of attachments used to clean bathrooms? I see ads for a short handled one by Synoshi.
Have Lauren use that last vacuum on the couch where the dogs sit! That’s a place that would benefit from being vacuumed and sanitized. That silicone “broom” seemed pretty useless. Why not just have a vacuum that does hard floors? I have a Dyson knockoff to vacuum my kitchen floor of crumbs and bits, like bits of kitty kibble, and a Bissell Crosswave to clean the floor. It’s more environmentally friendly than throwaway pads and the spinning brush head gets the dirt well. (Got it on a deep sale when Bed, Bath and Beyond went out of business in their stores.) As for the paper towel holder, that was really nice. I appreciate the spray bottle being right there. I like the duster cloth thing that can reach under furniture too. Did you try it under your stove and fridge too? You might want to.
Hey Rach just wondering if Lauren has the Chom chom pet roller from Amazon? I have it and it’s hands down the best pet hair remover I’ve ever tried for furniture, rugs, etc. It’s like $28 usd. It’s amazing. Best purchase I’ve ever made for my cats❤

I bet the scrub daddy sponge would be great on mop boards. Also I clean my hair bushes once a month with water, a little white vinegar, and dawn dish soap. (My brushes has a lot of dry shampoo in them) Soak in a bowl for a few minutes. Then take one of the Dollar Store round dish scrubbers with bristles. You know the one that you can fill with dish soap about 2 inches high 2 inches round. Then scrub in one direction to get hair out. Then scrub back and forth to get dry shampoo and lint out of brush. I vacuum my mattress with my dyson cordless. I ordered an extra head just for my beds. But still a cool vacuum for the bed. I'd buy it depending on cost.
Instead of any broom I’ll take my cordless Shark Pet Pro Multiflex stick vacuum. I never thought I needed a cordless vacuum until I got this one. It bends to fit under my furniture and it’s just as easy to grab as a broom
I'm pretty sure this extra piece on the paper towel holder is supposed to help you get a sheet of paper towel off without using both hands.
Me too! I think if you put the paper in them the other way it would work! But, oh well

Just fyi that’s not how you use the paper towel holder. The end is supposed to go under the arm so you can rip it off with 1 hand.
I was just going to write that. I have that paper towel holder from Home Goods and it is AMAZING (not with the spray feature)
As a hair stylist I use a brush rake or a comb to remove hair and then I put it in a sanitizer called ship shape
