Bookmarked! best video on boat driving Ive see yet. I just bought my first boat and know little about them. Headed out today to a small lake that usually has light traffic on it just to practice. Lots of practice in the near future for me.
I love that you have added boat specific videos to your content! Perfect topic for me personally too, Steve. I just bought my first bass boat this past fall.
Congrats! I try to cover everything bass fishing related. Hopefully folks find it useful if they are in the first stages of boat operation. Thank you for watching!
Good basic info and knowledgeable on the water info at end. Thanks look forward to some more “boat positioning while fishing” tips in the future.” Appreciate ya Steve.
Excellent tips Steve, I have my first bass boat and it is imperative to study and learn from you experienced guys! Hardest part for me so far has been backing down the ramp!
Congrats on the new boat! The best advice I can give for backing a boat up is small movements with the steering wheel. Most times folks will overcorrect. You'll get it quickly and be a pro at it soon. Thank you for watching!
Easiest method for backing a trailer is to use your mirrors. Begin by knowing what your trailer looks like when it’s straight out behind your tow vehicle. When you begin to back up place your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel. If the boat trailer needs to go to the right then turn the steering wheel to the right or if left then turn it to the left. Once the trailer is going in the correct direction then realign the tow vehicle up with the trailer and continue backing. Remember to make small adjustments. And never forget to put your windows down for safety. Good backing and boating to ya!!!
Thank you! I always think back to the first time I drove one and how much I was thankful for folks helping me out. Hopefully, new boat owners can get something useful from it. Thanks so much for watching.
