I went from a 2020 f350 diesel to a 2023 powerboost in march. I haven't towed with it yet so this video was a great one for me. Keep yo the good work thank you!❤

I own a 23 powerboost and I really like it. Back road driving the fuel economy is great . The power is impressive too.
The only downside I have found with any turbo gas motor is when towing it will eat the fuel! Even with the electric motor helping.

"Before I drop the weight on the hitch, let me do a quick measurement", sounds like my honeymoon

Also could a solid weight distribution hitch possibly have shifted some weight to the front axle since you had some wiggle room there??

I had a 2022 Powerboost with Max tow. I had 12V electrical issues and burning smells at altitude while towing after the first year and the dealer couldn't fix it. It wouldn't keep a charge and had to trickle charge it every couple weeks. I live in SLC Utah as well. Powerboost is a nice truck but the F-150 Ford hybrid system is not ready yet. I went and bought a 2024 Chevy 3500HD because of your reviews. Keep up the good work.

I hope the big 3 get hybrid's out there. GM already has the e-ray, that tech transferred to the trucks would be amazing. Imagine 15/25/3500's from GM, Ford or Ram with hybrid systems. Output numbers would be insane, it would really just come down to lasting payload haha

That truck reminded me of Elvis Presley with all that shaken going on.

Thanks for the video, I was considering a move to a F150 from a 1500.

For a trailer that size, it's just best to step up to a F250 or F350

I had a 2022 powerboost max tow and nothing but issues. Transmission seal leaked, windshield wiper mount kept coming undone, then windshield wiper motors were bad, tons of electrical issues, and the one that made me give up was the rear axle bolt breaking. First one side, then couple months waiting for them to order part and get scheduled in for repair while driving with sheared off bolt. They would not do other side until it failed. Finally failed, but before part made it in sheared bolt was backing out and making awful sounds. Finally got local dealership to buy truck back. Also towing 5800 lb dry weight travel trailer would cause check Engine light to come on.
    Went to a 2024 GMC 3500.

Half tons working hard usually = half life, at least with newer trucks and small engines.

Man it’s hard to justify that original sticker price and buying new based on the current retail used sale price. That’s nearly $1,000 per 1,000 miles. And you know he didn’t get anywhere near $58,000 on the trade in

The Chevy may tow better, but since they don’t come with a factory trailer brake controller, that’s a no go for me.

To say the Chevy is the best half ton is just inaccurate. I need to work on not letting your personal brand bias shine through these reviews.
