This is the review the world of tenkara needs to see, great budget rods that perform as well as others that are 2x as much...I think any beginner should get it, great with dries and weighted nymphs, tough as nails, Collapses down to about 15" and costs less than $60...and oh yeah, you get an extra tip section
I also think it’s a more appropriate length for glass than the iconic FoxFire rod. Soft rods are tricky in extra tight spaces and that’s where I prefer fast rods. I would actually love to test their 9’ rod and I think it would be even better! Thanks for the support and kind words. We definitely think alike! 😄
@skiddyfishing I absolutely agree. My glass fly rods range from 5'9-8'6" (and even a 14'+ surf rod) and you can really feel it's weight the longer it gets. Love the content man, keep it going!
Thanks for the trip! Videos like this have me exploring way more. Just found a small stream down near Panguitch which is full of good sized Bonnie's. I hope I come across this creek in my travels. I'll have to suggest this rod to my friend just getting into it.
Yea it’s a great bang for your buck rod! I think I would like the corkless handle even more but for $65 you can’t go wrong! Ill have to check out the panguitch area sometime! I don’t go South often.
@@skiddyfishing If you get down there sometime there is a public 2021 DWR report about what BCT streams have been doing well and doing poorly after a massive wildfire in 2017. It was pretty fun using it to figure out where to go.
I no longer have my FoxFire and kept this. Half the price and better action. You couldn’t be more right. Longer rod is better for glass and dry presentation.
It’s grouped together on Amazon. If you find the Aventik Zeno S2 rod, the 9ft rod does not have a cork handle where the 10ft rod does. You will see each option in just about every color. The 10ft rod is 10 sections. 😃

@509bunnyhaven 🥹👊👊
Nice variety of fish in that creek. Yes, trout live in the prettiest areas.
Agreed! 🙌

Public resources from the state is criminally underrated and I use it a lot. That’s super awesome dude! 🤩
Love this creek, has the prettiest browns around
It really does!
Glass is so good for dry flies!
Arguably the best!
How did this compare to the Foxfire? Seems like the longer length might be better IMO

Is this a 9ft 10pc rod or 10ft rod? I only find a 9ft Zeno
