@@BackyardRestorationsOfficial that one is 12 months behind so my studio charges a lot over the next couple on months 🤞 I get things moving again.thanks for the watch mate 👍👍🥳🥳
Nice little resto'. 👍 It's made in England so the wood is probably beech. While hand planes all look similar, your Marples 4 1/2 looks identical to a Stanley 4 1/2. Only differences are the paint colouring and the Marples logo cast into the base. Also, you could have sandblasted the wood handles then sanded with a fine grit sandpaper to make it easier to get rid of the old paint.
Great restoration ! And we LIKE the sandblasting ! It's satisfying to watch !
Thank you very much!
Yeah, skipping sandblasting is a sin
I’ll have lots of sand blasting for you in the future I promise.👌👍
Excellent tool. And the job is done perfectly.

@@stormkhan4250 thanks for the info 🙏👍
Rosewood was traditionally used for woodworking tool handles, but yours are just beech. Still, great vid, Tom Lie-Neilson would be proud.
Thank. You hope you subscribed lots
No proof that the blade is sharp
