@@jerbs5346 It's not a matter of time or effort, but rather them deciding to target consoles first and foremost and deciding to not re-render the source textures for good quality on PC (they could do this if they wanted & still had the source textures).
That's why art style matters, there's PS2 games that still look good today, and that's why mirror's edge will always look good too, and games that only focus on being realistic will get dated

I don't know if the Epic games store or GoG store also has this option or not though. I think they should but haven't used them so can't say for sure.

After a few hours of 30fps and having the whole map disappear beneath my feet, I gave up on Return to Arkham and now going to install this mod to the original GOTY edition. The Asylum mod was so good, this is definitely going to be king shit too!
THIS is what the remaster SHOULD’VE looked like. I mean I’m glad we have a remaster at all so I can play it on my PS4 but MAN imagine If this was what we got. In a perfect world I guess. Really glad PC players are getting this tho! I was wondering if you can do a Batman Arkham Origins Redux Graphics Mod like the one you did for Arkham Asylum & City. It's okay if you don't want to do it. But, it's a suggestion incase you run out of ideas.
Honestly, the only thing I wish for more is that DXVK worked on Windows for DX11 mode in conjunction with this and the new Advance Launcher (not y'alls responsibility obviously).
Arkham City has always been a good looking game. Even vanilla with higher native resolution and good antialiasing looks great. It's most dated aspect are the low resolution textures used and now that is fixed. If only it could be updated to use real time raytracing as the Arkham games made heavy use of static lighting that didn't always behave realistically
You are probably aware of this limitation, but I am posting this in case others are not aware. RTX Remix only supports DX8 and Early DX9 games with Fixed Function Pipelines. The Batman Arkham games are shader based, so they are not supported by RTX Remix. While the DX9 version of Portal is shader based, the RTX version uses the DX8 mode.

Beyond updating the textures of texts and color lines there's not much changed as it would've been better had rocksteady done a proper remaster of asylum and city with knights engine upgrade

I've been following these projects for a few years now and after Kevin Conroy's passing this is nice to see again.
The Arkham games honestly have an almost timeless art style. They still look really good today.
