In case you missed the dialogue, Arkham Asylum was shut down soon after the breakout. Quincy Sharp (the warden of Arkham Asylum) won the election for mayor and worked with Strange to build Arkham City, a walled off section of Gotham that now works as a super-prison. Every single inmate from the asylum and Blackgate were then moved to Arkham City. That's why Joker and many other Batman villains are in Arkham City too.

Two Face uses a two headed coin. One of the heads has a scratch on it. That's the side that means it's over. With Two Face you're on trial either way but, the unmarked side gives you a fighting chance.
But there’s dialogue in Arkham Knight where he flips a coin every time you KO someone in the bank, and sometimes it comes up as heads or tails

there are two secrets I found out about in this one being a secret room where Riddler does his broadcasting and the other one is Batman can actually leave Arkham City in some unusual way I also enjoy helpful tips on how to unlock the special challenges really cool exellent game .

Arkham City is one of my favorite videogames of all time and one of the greatest videogames ever made, it's a masterpiece. It took what Asylum was good at and turned that shit up to 11. The Story, Writing, Soundtrack, Characters everything was amazing and perfect, even the concept art was awesome. The suit is cool as well
The biggest changes were the combat, to this day nothing can match how badass and satisfying it is, the open world and traversal, even the stealth was upgraded.
I hope you enjoy your journey with this game as much as I did the first time I played it

Arkham city takes place about 1-2 years after asylum, knight takes place 9 months after city and origins takes place about 8 years before asylum.
Edit: if you want to go further, ssktjl takes place 5 years after knight and Arkham VR takes place 1 day before knight

I dont know why it took me 4 months to play the game. I bought it for £2ish and didnt touchbit up until yesterday. I put 4 hours into it and enjoyed it. The story is starting to kick in.

Play Batman Arkham knight and origins origins is hated on but one of the best boss battles and one of the best Arkham games
As good as this looks Arkham Knight is even better, it’s insane how good that game looked at release in 2015 and still looks great today.
imo any of the batman games beat the spiderman games (even though the graphics quality isn't on par) I LOVED every one of these games. technically speaking you should start with arkham origins if you wanna go chronologically but city was one of my favorites. these games are amazing and i hope you have as good a time with these games as I did.
(btw when you fight as bruce at the beginning of the game I was thinking the same thing "wouldn't they know I'm batman by the way i fight?" and then i realized later that batman is DEFINITELY the type of guy who would have two different fighting styles for fighting as Bruce wayne vs fighting as batman)
