The yellow circle i have done with a used fabric softener sheet...
I really enjoyed this video. I like all the ways you can make your circle. Depends on the look you want. The raw edge circle would look nice with some fancy stitches on your machine to go around it.

I use black. Some black fabric sheds more than I care for.

@@robinhewitt8251 yeah, maybe it gets some sort of different treatment.
I love circles and modern quilts. Half square triangles get boring. I usually do the first method and just put fray check on it and permanent sew tape..
