Is so easy the way you made it! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I'm learning and always wanted to make that block but 😢😢😢 it looked sooo difficult, now I am 😊❤ I learned from you!
It's lovely and you explain it very well. BUT.... when making a full quilt with them, sew three and three, not the whole hexi together. Then sew in strips and sew the strips together to make full hexis.
I'm not very experienced with hexi's, I am not certain what you meant, for making a quilt, I want to make something with this block. First a small practice something.
@@mayetchells8884 sew the three on the left of the block, then sew the three on the right. Do not sew the two halves together. Make more blocks making sure you pin the halves together so you don’t loose them. When you have enough, lay them out on a design board (the bed, for me 😅). You are now going to sew them in strips from top to bottom (rather than side to side as in most quilts), making sure that you line up the same blocks when you sew the next strip. Hope this helps.
I love your videos. Thank you for making the cube hint to assemble these. I'm a newbie and I don't have much fabric and I have found this video with 3 colors of fabric and also your cube video with 2 colors. I can make these. Thank you! I look forward to watching more of your videos.
HEXAGONS WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME! Use a”needle match”. It’s a process to line up hexagons…I still use a big stitch so I can easily rip it out if it’s off. Best of luck.
I love it but I was disappointed you didn't show several together. Even drawn on graph paper or a PC screen. I may have to try that myself! Really neat though.
Hi guys!
This was such a fun block to make!
I hope you love it too.
Enjoy,
Sandy

Makes sense. Kind of makes me want to make one hehehe. Thank you for the tip!

Good idea! That would make a quilt come together easier, I think.

How do you put the hexagons together after assembly? Could you show that also ?

Hi. I'm doing that now but didn't think of it at the time. Wish I had though 😐
@@seweasybysandy I made some paper squares and then realized it made a version of tumbling blocks but much better with the hexagons.
Sandy, could you please show how you sew these blocks together? I'm fairly new and I'm not sure how to sew the blocks together, please help!
Me too
I think you have to have all the pieces (triangles) made and laid out then start sewing in columns.
It's exquisite
Why don't you set your seams?
How would you assemble the top?
Hi! I would probably sew the rows first and then join them together
🌺👌🌸👍😍💕❤️🌹
You need to be careful with the blade open. You can get cut badly.
You're right!
