Thank you for sharing your insights. I hadn't thought about a "gentle restoration. Youve given me some real food for thought... and the nightstand is really pretty!
Love how this turned out!!!! The color you chose really warmed up the whole piece, and that hardware is gorgeous❤❤❤. Love all the detailed info in this video😊😊😊
Lisa, I use GPT & Bing Copilot to create listing quicker. Thanks for introducing me to Claude. A new concept with integrating it into your computer. 🎉 Always learning! Table looks great 👍🏼
Thank you for this informative video. Your profit on it was really decent and if you are doing this full time you could be working on multiple projects as things dry etc.
Excellent video, Lisa! Makes me feel like I can do this without having to first purchase all the fancy tools. Discussion of products was sl helpful. First project Im going to take on is my short stairway pole that my painter painted instead of removing. Of course, the paint is coming off an looks horrendous. It's a start!
I really appreciate the way you are doing some things. I think the Danish oil is a better choice for the drawers than all that Howard’s feet and wax. I like the latter product for many things but I do feel like I’m not completely sure that my clothes in the drawers are not going to pick up a tiny bit of oil where of course the Danish oil goes completely hard. I am curious though, if you could explain why you use half denatured alcohol and half water to clean. Maybe in a future video?
Thanks Diana! I first learned about the 50/50 DA and water from General Finishes. It’s in their protocol for this method. After doing a little research, I found DA is a degreaser, sanitizer, stain remover, etc. I find if I have contaminates on a piece, I can apply DA and it will help neutralize them.
I like your washer solution for drawer pulls that don't cover previous holes. I love the finish you chose. It makes the nightstand look very elegant.
Thanks so much!! 🤩🙌🏼
Turned out gorgeous! Love the color the stain combo produced.😍
Me too! It was stunning in person 😊 thanks Rachel!
Love the washer hack, Lisa!! So clever. Tons of valuable info here for anyone starting out or just looking to up their game!
It’s the little things, right? Thanks Natalie!
Thanks, I usually refinish antiques but am dipping my toe into the MCM. Your show has been very helpful
MCM has a great resale value!
I like the finished color you used. Good call on the hack using the washer to cover previous hole. Informative and straightforward video.
Thanks Debbie!!🤩
