I don't think we want that as Disney for all it's faults is probliy the only people with enough money that we want to own the linsce... Like I can't think of anyone else who do a better job owning it... Not even Microsoft because they don't make movies and TV... Disney would actually get their money back as their toys have been rotting on the store shelves for some time (Hasbro even announced that they won't take up the contract to make more due to poor sales). If Disney sold the franchise, it would be beneficial on their part and essentially reset the clock so that somebody else could purchase the franchise. We would have less SW content, but that was no different than before Disney bought it up. There were plenty of video games, books, and even the Clone Wars series that were still being made before Disney ever bought the franchise.
The Acolyte was the ice berg, It caused division among the fans, and then the constant attacks from the entire cast and Kennedy made so many fans lose interest in the IP. way to sink your ship Kennedy, Since you are the captain we expect you to ride that thing to the sea floor. Until the Acolyte we all expected them to pull a Hail Mary with some fantastic story. alas, it was not meant to be.

Season 3 of The Mandalorian was a major dealbreaker as the series originally had the highest viewership of all the Disney series before Book of Boba Fett and S3 popped in (some believed that KK deliberately sabotaged the series, too). In this case, with the sequel trilogy and numerous shows that would slowly eat away the fanbase, by the time the Acolyte came into play, it really drove it in completely. I'm all for it if Disney wants to sell off the franchise. They can use that money to help rebuild their parks or create something new that might work for them in the long run.

Make him Luke's long-lost son or something, perhaps trained by Grogu and later Luke, so they can continue the Skywalker Saga. Killing off every Skywalker was a terrible idea. Even worse was making Palpatine's granddaughter an honorary "Skywalker".
Why when they dhavw dave faloni/George's plan that has been going on since at least the clone wars TV show? Which they can still make EU media as it's own canon like it always was they just refuse to for some likely stupid reason... I’ve been the story about the Rey movie for two years and yet, the story stays the same. When is there going to be official information instead of this rants that are telling the same story over and over again? All of this is just stuff we don’t even know much about. Only the fact the screenwriter being no longer in the picture is the most we know.

I heard rogue squadron is still in development. Fingers crossed it ties into the Thrawn storyline as some people seem to be reporting. Sure there are some things I don’t agree with with modern day Star Wars but the future looks bright. Can’t wait for Andor Season 2!

The Marvels, Black Widow, The Eternals, all box office bombs and a slew of terribly received Disney+ shows, with She Hulk being the worst. Quantumania barely made a profit also. Deadpool and Wolverine, despite being a massive success, can't earn enough for Marvel to break even at this point. This doesn't even take into account the massive and costly reshoots for Captain America 4 which has had horrible test screenings.

Also Marvel has put out some bangers last year as well like; Loki season 2 and Guardians 3. Plus Kevin Feige also acknowledged that they had a few stinkers last year and are working on it.
