Truly appreciate your perspective!!! Three weeks post surgery and everything you spoke on was relatable. Thank you for this.

Great videos thanks for sharing. I’m 10 days post op and feeling tried and lethargic. Trying to increase my walking but like you I tend to overdo it and feel the leg pain later / the next day. Trying to stick to around 3000 steps for now as anything more seems to aggravate the pain.

Thanks for this man. I’m glad you’ve made this video because it’s exactly what I’ve been going through. Fear, not having anything to do, being pulled in by media. I can feel my blood pressure go up when I get on the media and it’s so much better for you to separate yourself. Blessings to you!

Wow this is so accurate to how i feel after 5 weeks. I thought maybe the surgery did not work, but it sounds like many are in the same boat as me.

that's always our biggest fear is it doesn't work. But after two years, I have zero pain in that same area. Of course I still have some back pain from being old but doesn't keep me awake at night and doesn't feel like somebody stabbing me in the back praying for your full recovery.

@@getmoving1090 do you remember how long until you had no pain ? This seems to be a long healing process .

@@mikewhiteman9083 everything seems much longer than it is looking back at it seems really short I think I was back doing light duty in seven or eight weeks hard for me to be sure it all seem too soon to be back at work. I could never become a painter again I started doing light maintenance for school part time still took another year after that to really feel 100% but I remember spending a lot of time worrying. I certainly didn't want to re-injure it.

Think maybe I was wrong maybe it's closer to 10 and 12 weeks and I went back to work

And two weeks later - I’m almost back to normal- wow what a quick change. I have very little pain at all now of any.

Hi, I’m just in ny 4th week after my L4 L5 microdiscectomy and the incision is on my left lower back. Hence I always lay down on my right side most of the time and sometimes on my left side when my body is not in pain but lying flat on my back is impossible for me as my back is still sore and heavy.
Am I doing just fine lying always on my right side at night?
How do you managed to position yourself lying down when you’re going to sleep at night? Can you lay down flat on your back (surgery wound)?
I hope you read my query and give some encouragement please.
