- How to install HKS Blow Off Valve (BOV) to a Flange Adapter Pipe.
We are installing it to a SR20DET but it can be easily installed to any Turbo modified engine.

I like you! Keep up the great work! I for sure needed help with the HKS Blow off valve since I though I needed a clamp and been searching around the internet and there is no clamp that is in existent but now you show me how to install it.

Hey guys love the car, could you guys guide me a bit Cuzz I’m a newbie and I bought a HKS BOV for my stock 2018 Hyundai Elantra sport turbo. I just wanted to make sure what parts I needed to get it connected without having issues with the car running rich due to atmospheric connection, because of fuel and air ratio.. any pointers ?

I have the same one on my MR2, after some time I find a accute sound a bit annoying personally, I prefer a lower "pshh" sound, but yeah, it's a good valve

You can run either side. Both should be good.

If it's turbocharged, yes. If it's not, no.
can you connect the short pipe to any cold air intake? i want to put it in my benz
If your car is turbo, then yes
so I’m running about 12lbs of boost, would I need to mess with anything on the bov?
What engine? Stock turbo? Stock boost?

If you're getting the HKS bov you should be fine. The BOV don't need any adjustment. Just install and hook up the vacuum line and you're good to go

But HKS is not the loudest, it sound loud because of it's high pitch sound.
Does your BOV spin on the adapter??
Once the snap rings is locked in, the BOV cannot spin on the adapter. Its a tight good fitment and still running great without any issues.
It's cold pipe why you kept saying connect to your hot pipe lol
Hot pipe is the side with the turbo ...
Cold pipe is the side with the intake manifold ...

Vaccume line under the Throttle Body.
@@risin9365 thanks a lot, and the tube has to be linked from the turbo exhaust manifold to the throttle body right ? We put the bov between and fix the hole on regular vacuum system on plenum.
@@risin9365 oh sorry yours is connected to your intercooler from the turbo exhaust manifold right? It there any issues if I do connect it on the throttle body. I don't have intercooler. Mine is Nissan z31 turbo
