@@ahcgarage Hey i really need help with my HKS BOV on my 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport, I have an HKS adapter that replaces the original. I'm super confused on where the hoses go... Could you kindly explain to me where each hose goes starting from the BOV and what hose connects to each end of the T fitting, where its coming from and where its connecting? I would greatly appreciate it as I can't find anything anywhere explaining the hose connections properly. Some say connect it directly to the Solenoid, but what about the T fittings? what is connecting to each end and where they coming from or going. Thanks a bunch
Honest question on turbo blankets. Keeps heat off the motor and helps reduce timing cuts when it over heats and less heat less wear on the motor. But doesn't the blanket also cause the turbo to over heat and hurt the bearings?
Did the ceramic coating make a difference to your temperatures? Also did you go with Silver ceramic because of personal preference or better heat resistance than black ceramic?
@@ahcgarage Did the ceramic coating on the inlet charge pipe make a difference with temperature and performance? As you are the first ones that I have come across that did the ceramic coating on the inlet charge pipe, would like to see what you feel performance wise by doing this. I am exploring this option vs a new titanium charge pipe vs a ptp blanket?
Anywhere you can give me a run down of when you installed the HKS Bov on how the vaccum lines were tied together? Also I'm hearing that with the HKS bov it needs a proper tune once installed? I am currently on a custom tune with hondata now do I need to do a retune to eliminate air and fuel?
@bisimoto has a video on his channel of a HKS BOV installed Civic SI and tested the myth while attached to a dynajet. I believe his results found a 5HP increase before he started tuning.
“Hearing” is never a good way to find out if aftermarket products work. You have to test it yourself. If I went off of hearsay (most of the time from people who never even tried), my car would still be stock🤷🏾♂️

Salut ! Peut-on installer toutes ces pièces sans être obligé de reprogrammer l' ECU et sans risquer d'endommager le turbo?
Merci 👍
Man, I wish I can find some guys with this type of knowledge and profesionalism around my area, I'd have peace of mind leaving my type R with them
👍🏼👍🏼

Look forward to this all week. Type R is looking amazing! Thank you fellas👍🏻
Thanks for tuning in as always!
I just keep eye balling the Acura Integra Type Rs. Nice video. Just started watching you guys. Lovin' it so far. Great work!
Thanks for watching, enjoy!!
Very nice guys, that car sounds awesome through the gears. look forward to the next instalment. John UK
Thank you 🙏🏼
Dang what those CTRs need are lower profile tires. Freaking rubber bands! Pretty sweet regardless.
They are 245/30/20. Pretty low profile for a production car, specially a Honda
Thumbs up on the vid... engine bay looks like an absolute disaster to wrench on.
Thanks for your support
Hi if you don’t mind can you guys show me how to install the vacuum line for the BOV ? Thanks in advance
Amazing content guys!
Quick question do y’all know what black lugnuts those are?
TIA
They are the Oem factory stock lug nuts
Any issues with the bov?
Does installing the blowoff valve make the MAF sensor unhappy since it is expecting the air to recirculate, as opposed to being blown off?
Stock intake box is better off anyway. The OEM box flows great and with a drop in k&N gives these $500 heat soak intake run for it money.
Agreed, the OEM intake box does flow really well.
Do ya need a recirculating kit for that bov
So with the HKS set up, did you have to block off the OEM bypass?

That's his baby, don't think he would let that go any time soon
Have you have any issue with the hks BOV? Especially for not using a recirculating kit?
"And its time to go beat on this car"
Owner watching the video: spits out coffee ,what didhe say?
Ha!
List of parts and where to get them would be nice. Like the Whole BoV setup......
Where in South Florida is the workshop?
After install catless downpipe does it need a tune to prevent CEL?😊
Did the ceramic coating make a difference to your temperatures? Also did you go with Silver ceramic because of personal preference or better heat resistance than black ceramic?
The color is just our personal preference. No sure if it's cooler than black ceramic

I want to know does it fit the 2018 Honda accord 2.0 since it use the same motor
Is it okay to have bov on ctr?
Do you have to be tuned after you install this Downpipe?
How do you guys resurface drilled rotors
Great video. What do you use to soak the bolts? Thanks
Rust penetrating oil
Awesome job 👏 👍
Thanks 🙏🏼
Where can I get a instruction?
No one asked the golden question but did you feel the difference with the butt dyno?
HOW ABOUT A WHAT YOU GUYS USE FOR TOOLS VIDEO,,, LOVE THIS CHANNEL MORE PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good suggestion
Does this downpipe need an ecu tune?
No needs for Ecu tune on downpipe
What exhaust is on that R?
Stock exhaust

To be easier for you besides the retune, you can use a recirculating kit
What’s the downpipe torque specs ?
Do you customize cars bought from acura Pembroke pines
We do not. These are our personal vehicles
@@ahcgarage got it
Can I make an appointment to have these guys install a downpipe on my FK8? I’m local.
I keep hearing adding the BOV on these cars is bad. Since its venting to the atmosphere, opinion?
Not sure if that true
Yea, everyone keeps saying the same thing.
I agreed. But people only putting this HKS bov on the car because they like to hear the release pressure sounds.
