For those of you who have ordered our BOV kit, we went ahead and made an in depth tutorial on how to install this kit. Hope all goes well on the install!

Great installation video ...very in depth and descriptive ...I had an issue with the rear hose fitting ...I cut off about a quarter of a inch and fit right on.... They sound as advertise and hopefully prolonging my turbo life in the process ! 💯

Great detailed install video, much better than the techno crap Z1 put together lol. only thing I would do first is prep the BOV and hoses first. I also installed the supplied T hose behind the throttle body first, get the hard part out the way..the rest was easy.

Great video! Since I just completed this install in my 2017 Q60, I have to say that removal of the vacuum hose was difficult. I guess I didn't have the correct pliers to do it. Get a couple of sizes and angles. One tip about the vacuum hose removal....the hard to reach vacuum hose clamp can be turned to a position by twisting the hose. Then it might be in a position for your pliers to reach. Second tip on the vacuum hose, you should compare the OEM vacuum hose with the custom CZP vacuum hose. I'm not going to advise this, but I had to cut a little off the vertical hose end. I'm sure others were successful putting this on as is, but I was tired of messing with it. Finally, for the install of the horizontal hose clamp, I used my own vacuum hose clamp that could be tightened with a socket or flat head screw driver.
I did the same thing earlier when I installed. Had to use a razor blade to cut a tiny slit. After that it was much easier.

Yes, the CZP vacuum hose was a bit off but I didn’t do any cutting or shaving as I managed to get it on and use a different clamp on both ends.

Where do you connect the hks bov on a lexus is300 2005?
Why are the filters optional?

What insert is included with kit?
Is this 50/50 bov or 100% recirculating or?
Will this void any factory warranty?
I just bought a 2017 Q60 RS and I hear that getting blowoff valves is one of the best things to do in regards to making sure that it helps relieve the crazy pressure buildup from the OEM ones which causes premature turbo failure and engine issues. Can anyone let me know if this is a good solution and if you think it will help with lifetime of turbos?

Man, I just installed my blow-off vlv's on my Q60 today. Every thing went as planned but, it's a little tedious. Must have patience. That angle needle nose was a blessing for removing the house clamps behind the throttle body, don't try it with out! Had a little trouble with the snap ring getting in the blow off vlv, it just wouldn't go in. I had to ok shave some millimeter off the snap ring to make it fit. Other than that it sounds and work great.

Just to clarify for future readers: The snap rings have a beveled edge on one side that wedge into the groove on the adapter. If you put the ring on backwards it will more than likely not seat correctly. This will cause the bov to pop out of the adapter under boost.
Do you offer a kit that is not ssqv?

One note... the HKS BOV instructions says to have the short end of the vacuum filter towards the BOV - both in the wording and picture. You seem to have it pointing the other way. Not sure if it's directional or whether it matters, just pointing it out.

Won't the bov throw off the mass air flow sensor?
Exactly! HKS never mentioned any of that but if it does I guess disconnect the sensor

can adding bov void any kind of warranty when the car isnt equipped with bov? for instance if the turbo decides to fail in the future, can dealer blame it because of bov? (although bov r suppose to minimize that risk)
prolly won’t cover the turbos if they go everything else it should cover id ask your dealer what is covered exactly

snap rings keep slipping off.. I don’t get it. is there a specific way it needs to be clocked to keep the adapter from coming off? Happened in a test drive and immediately lost boost pressure car began limping

Can I use stock intercooler couplers?
Where would you connect the bov’s to with the stock couplers 😂 that’s why the new ones have a 3rd hole

@HomicidalKings I did, I had a really bad leak in the BOV, problem fixed now.. no more rough idle

Hardest part of this install is putting on the snap rings
Instead of the custom vaccum line , i receive a black T extension??i feel like my hose Are gonna be bending

@@HomicidalKings You have to cut the hose. Make sure you get the measurements right. I ended up calling Z1 to help
