Nice 1 sir Graham, great shots of the little red eyed damselfly, a species I haven't knowingly seen before.

What a super and informative video. Nice dragonfly I ages. And some great tips and tricks. Another superb video from you. I enjoy how you left the outtake in for us to have a chuckle. Cool flyby of those formation aeroplanes. Sorry it's took me a few days to get round to watching. Have yourself a fantastic week my friend

I'm still giggling at your surprised exclamation as the planes flew over! Lol! A super informative video as always, and what a great tip. I will try and remember to implement that next time I try to photograph dragonflies etc. They do look really lovely on the leaves, and I also thought your RAW file came up really well. Dear little robin, it was nice to see him too.

Thanks 😆 Only a mild expletive luckily, otherwise I'd have had to bleep it out! Glad you enjoyed the rest of the video too. Cocky is still paying us regular visits although we witnessed him emerge speedily from one side of our Weigela bush yesterday afternoon just as a Sparrowhawk was swooping in to the other side! Sparrowhawk emerged a few moments later empty-taloned and flew off onto a neighbouring roof aerial.

@@NaturallyCuriousUK Haha, yes you would! Goodness, I hope Cocky manages to keep safe with there being a sparrowhawk around. Lovely birds, and I know they have to eat too, but I'd rather not witness that, personally - especially as we do tend to get fond of our garden visitors!

Its a great site, better earlier in the year. Cant help with the fly Id sadly, but the Dragonfly was a Migrant Hawker (male) as you said :)

Great content Graham. Some lovely photos and you managed to do well with the Dragonfly image with what you had to start with lol. Nice tip on how to get the Damselflies near you for photographing, will have to try that. Not sure if those planes were Spitfire's, can't really tell from the silhouettes or the sound.
