Not mentioning the HDMI out with Note 4 via HDTV samsung adaptor.????? I have been using this feature since S3 Note 3 and now note 4 built-in USB2 (S5 USB3 unable to do this) I have been teaching medical students Power point presentations/ Video presentations in HD via HDMI and in real time front video as real time web cam as well since 2012 where as Iphone IMPOSSIBLE task for apple???.....(?? dream feature) May be.... as if you are comparing a Motorcycle(Samsung) to a bicycle(apple)????
Still love my Note 4. Never sold it (although I have since upgraded). This and my Note 10.1 2014 tablet. Two fantastic devices that have stood the test of time! Talk about getting my money’s worth!

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S3, and I'm ready to upgrade. I've been browsing, and so far, no phone has come close to rivaling the supremacy of the Note 4. Not even the S5. It's a no-brainer for me. Note 4 it is!
Most of the features can easily passed on to Note 3, but Samsung will not. This attitude of not giving features to the previous capable phones will create a big dent in their business. Instead of building brand loyalty, they are ruining themselves by creating frustration with existing customers.
I got my SN4 by default and it's my definitely my most favourite Samsung to phone to date... It's saved me lots of money because I've just not felt the need to purchase any of the newer phones because the SN4 continues to tick all the boxes... and it's BIG! ;) Big up Samsung :)

I still love my Note 4. Marshmallow update threw a bit of a spanner in the works, but it's still a brilliant phone. I love my Note 4, and one of the very last mobiles that allows you to remove the back and replace the battery. ☆☆☆☆☆

How can I download the dictionaries? It only gives me the option of English 6.6 ..I did not like that one. I tried loading the Dictionary.com app to use it when highlighting a word in my messages, but it did not recognize it as a available dictionary when I tried to highlight a word and define it

I was having same issues I ended up finding out it was apps that actually caused the issue. I used an app called anti adware to detect which apps were high risk causing issues and removed those apps or the apps that were on the list I blocked them from notifying me or access certain parts of the phone and I have had no problem since. Oh ya and afterwards I removed anti adware.
I just tried the s pen highlight text to bring up the dictionary feature and I don't seem to get the same menu as your video... Do I have to install something extra?

Same. The 1440p display STILL has more pixels per inch than the iphone XS Max. And just as much RAM as the XS Max. And is more customizable. And has a pressure sensitive built in stylus that we all know and love called the S Pen

Great review but I am a bit disappointed in several things. I love Samsung devices, had then since my first basic phone and just went from the Note 2 to this "awesome" Note 4 or so I thought. The phone is great but for crying out loud, why hasn't Samsung learned to put the dam speakers in the front where the HTC phones have it and sounds more superb? Plus, if your phone is laying flat, once again, the sound quality is sacrificed. STUPID STUPID STUPID SAMSUNG SPEAKERS I love your hidden features review but was very disappointed to notice it only works with the factory Samsung keyboard and not my awesome SwiftKey keyboard, and I noticed you use it to but for your review, used the factory and I bet you hate switching back and forth between keyboards JUST to use 'My Hot Keys" feature. WHY WHY WHY STUPID SAMSUNG WHY Again, great review, not your fault Samsung engineers are not as clever as HTC to put the freaking speakers on the front. I got it two days ago. Its more dynamic now. When you receive a call it does not take up entire screen. It feels more lighter than note 3. The menu button is not their now its a list key. Still getting used to it. The folders are a better style. The s pen functions changed. Overall its a more dynamic experience now. There is more ways to do things.
13:50 Note 4 can record 60FPS video in smooth motion mode... not 120FPS Snapdragon 805 has capability to record video at 120FPS but Note 4 is not offering it in any video recording mode...If you record video from Note 4...It'll record at 1080p 60FPS

yes I am quite happy with the Samsung Note 4 it is actually brilliant well organised sufficient and efficient superb now I am looking for Beam 2nd Samsung smartphone projector they come handy as emergency having two smartphones especially when you are travelling depending on what locations
At 9 minutes and 24 seconds you talk about pushing that back button and it's supposed to bring up some apps my back button doesn't do anything at all it never has there's been no functionality to it whatsoever I'm not even able to get out of a text message like I used to on my Note 3. No functionality whatsoever on that back button. I have the 910A marshmallow.

I saw articles on Samsung being taken to court over knowing that the Note 4 mcm's would die prematurely. What do you know! Mine failed 2 months ago, and now it keeps freezing restarting lagging becoming utterly unresponsive at times and unreliable. What makes me more suspicious is that I'm now forced to use an old S 4 ... yes a 5 almost 6 year old phone lasts longer than this 4 y/o. Now if I want to fix it I'd have to buy a new motherboard and at the prices I've seen it doesn't seem worth it - is 55 USD (73 AUD) worrh it? And I'm worried it might give out too soon after.
That last feature doesn't seem to work in chrome. Where you highlight a word and it gives you options like dictionary. It seems weird that it wouldn't work in chrome being the most likely place you'll encounter words you arent familiar with...
Frankly speaking, before watching this video, I had planned to buy iPhone 6. Watching this video title, was amazed, tricks for overhyped Note 4! Then watching few seconds, it seemed interesting , and watching entire video, so amazed that now I am holding Note 4...! It's worth every penny.

Thanks for the tips. If anyone knows of any video that shows simply how to transfer pictures and videos from your Note 4 to your PC. Let me know. I tried a program called Kies, but when I connect my phone to the PC, it does not show up as a drive. People have told me on forums to look in screen on phone and select media device, but I don't see this anywhere. I finally got files moved using a combination of bluetooth, google drive, and copying and pasting from Windows photo viewer, but it took a while.
Ricky Watched your video on SG note 4, 5.0. In the camera piece you talked about a video mode "smooth". I went into my settings but don't see a video mode toggle.. To allow smooth operation. I see 16 toggles but I don't see one for video, just stabilization
Smooth motion is 60 fps, not 120 fps. In recent versions of the OS, they simply call it exactly what it is, "FHD 60P". For comparison, the option "FHD" is 30 fps.
I 've have just brought a note 4 but here's my situation, I had just enough money just to get it out on lay away. so next month I will have it active it. it took me almost one whole year to save up on a very expensive cellphone $700.00 and i had to get my copy before it become discontinue. My note 4 is stuck in emergency call mode. I don't have any emergency contacts saved I have forgotten my backup password so I am locked out. I have been told I need to reset to factory but I have a lot of irreplaceable photos that I will lose and was told I don't have a memory card installed. I normally download them to my desk top, but this happen the day before. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I'd say the developer mode was a hidden mode or *#0011# to switch the WiFi power saver off to give you a super long extended range!

well they took the grey scaling out unfortunately it was my favorite feature , unless its on ultra power saving , which is to limiting , real bummer

I got it two days ago. Its more dynamic now. When you receive a call it does not take up entire screen. It feels more lighter than note 3. The menu button is not their now its a list key. Still getting used to it. The folders are a better style. The s pen functions changed. Overall its a more dynamic experience now. There is more ways to do things.

Note 4 can record 60FPS video in smooth motion mode... not 120FPS
Snapdragon 805 has capability to record video at 120FPS but Note 4 is not offering it in any video recording mode...If you record video from Note 4...It'll record at 1080p 60FPS

I need help 😁 I have just a regular iPhone 5 but I'm thinking about switching to Samsung is this a good choice to make? The iPhone 6 plus just does not amuse me that much with its features unlike the note 4. The plus is a toy and it bends and it's too original and very expensive. When my contract ends should I get note 4 or get the plus ?

yes I am quite happy with the Samsung Note 4 it is actually brilliant well organised sufficient and efficient superb now I am looking for Beam 2nd Samsung smartphone projector they come handy as emergency having two smartphones especially when you are travelling depending on what locations
At 9 minutes and 24 seconds you talk about pushing that back button and it's supposed to bring up some apps my back button doesn't do anything at all it never has there's been no functionality to it whatsoever I'm not even able to get out of a text message like I used to on my Note 3. No functionality whatsoever on that back button. I have the 910A marshmallow.

I saw articles on Samsung being taken to court over knowing that the Note 4 mcm's would die prematurely.
What do you know! Mine failed 2 months ago, and now it keeps freezing restarting lagging becoming utterly unresponsive at times and unreliable.
What makes me more suspicious is that I'm now forced to use an old S 4 ... yes a 5 almost 6 year old phone lasts longer than this 4 y/o.
Now if I want to fix it I'd have to buy a new motherboard and at the prices I've seen it doesn't seem worth it - is 55 USD (73 AUD) worrh it? And I'm worried it might give out too soon after.

That last feature doesn't seem to work in chrome. Where you highlight a word and it gives you options like dictionary. It seems weird that it wouldn't work in chrome being the most likely place you'll encounter words you arent familiar with...
Frankly speaking, before watching this video, I had planned to buy iPhone 6. Watching this video title, was amazed, tricks for overhyped Note 4! Then watching few seconds, it seemed interesting , and watching entire video, so amazed that now I am holding Note 4...! It's worth every penny.

Thanks for the tips. If anyone knows of any video that shows simply how to transfer pictures and videos from your Note 4 to your PC. Let me know. I tried a program called Kies, but when I connect my phone to the PC, it does not show up as a drive. People have told me on forums to look in screen on phone and select media device, but I don't see this anywhere. I finally got files moved using a combination of bluetooth, google drive, and copying and pasting from Windows photo viewer, but it took a while.

Watched your video on SG note 4, 5.0. In the camera piece you talked about a video mode "smooth". I went into my settings but don't see a video mode toggle.. To allow smooth operation. I see 16 toggles but I don't see one for video, just stabilization
Smooth motion is 60 fps, not 120 fps. In recent versions of the OS, they simply call it exactly what it is, "FHD 60P". For comparison, the option "FHD" is 30 fps.
I 've have just brought a note 4 but here's my situation, I had just enough money just to get it out on lay away. so next month I will have it active it. it took me almost one whole year to save up on a very expensive cellphone $700.00 and i had to get my copy before it become discontinue. My note 4 is stuck in emergency call mode. I don't have any emergency contacts saved I have forgotten my backup password so I am locked out. I have been told I need to reset to factory but I have a lot of irreplaceable photos that I will lose and was told I don't have a memory card installed. I normally download them to my desk top, but this happen the day before. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Im still using my S3 its been 3 years, now im going to upgrade my S3 to Note 4 or edge, both same phones but the difference is the edge have curve display otherwise same.
