They did an amazing job voicing this and it's nice to see that Samsung's marketing team appreciated their work and gave them actually creative texts to act on. Overall very well done ad, probably one of the best ones Samsung has put out in ages.

All the stuffs were same in my new phone. Literally EVERYTHING!! Even the saved wifi passwords, bluetooth connection and what not!
Wow. I've thought Samsung ads and events were not as great as Apple commercials. But this advert truly is something special. Do more of these. And all those icons are amazing it would be innovative if the next One UI would have icon lighting or 3D rotateable icons. At the end of the day One UI is all about customizing.
Samsung: We do nothing different, we improved on a one time process of transferring data from your old phone to ours, except we don’t do it crappily like we used to. We also make the new UI look like Apple so you won’t feel as bad switching to a cheaper clone. Not saying Apple is great, but this ad wasn’t either.
Humor aside, I recently switched from an old iphone 7 to a galaxy s22+ and used the smart switch app. Not only didnit transfer all the apps and data but also the wallpaper, folders and exactly added the apps in them as in the iphone. I was really impressed and it makes me wanna explore more of the galaxy ecosystem.
Originally, advertisements like this benefited both companies, namely Samsung and the iPhone, Samsung and the original iPhone were companies that worked together, when the iPhone was in demand, Samsung's income was higher because some of the iPhone components came from Samsung.
I’m a die hard Apple fan now, but I’ve had my share of Galaxy’s and Note’s in the past so Samsung has a place in my heart. This was so tasteful and informative and can def help others see how easy it can be to switch over, even if it’s just to try Samsung out. Love this, so keep it going!

Galaxy user here. Not only was this really creative and fun to watch, the core message being delivered is actually true: Switching from any other phone to a Samsung Galaxy by using Smart Switch really couldn't be easier and more intuitive! It can be a bit lengthy if you're transferring the files "over the air" (via Wifi), but it's ridiculously fast if you're using a cable. Galaxy phones have come a long way, but the typical quirks like micro lags or massive bloatware are a thing of the past!
@@humanbeing9086 My Samsung experience is based on the special applications it contains. They are very useful and help you in real life. If you like stock Android, you probably want a Google Pixel, not a Samsung.

I like how there were some references that only some will notice, for example, during the Smart Switch segment, the IOS apps screamed "security" when they were being transferred. Apple has used security as an argument for some of their most skeptical practices.
Yeah I remember I was in a Best Buy talking to the Google guy about preferring Android because I was tired of Apple's walled garden and next thing I know, I happen to look to the side and didn't realize the Apple guy wSas standing several feet away hearing me dissing them like that. I was like, " oh yeah, I know" and walked away, wanting to shake my head and laugh.😅
I mean, attaching and transferring all of your phone's data from one device to another is quite a security concern, is it not? They do use security as an argument quite a bit, but they do have a point in a lot of them. The only thing is that the point they make is also good for profits. iOS (and subsequent Apple products/software) has significantly fewer security issues and is significantly less prone to hacking, viruses, trackers, and other forms of data breaches, which is why government officials worldwide predominantly use Apple products to conduct government business. The genius behind Apple's security measures is that they are easily able to profit off of those features thanks to practices by "the other side." Let's be real here, if Google wasn't so heavy about tracking everything you do for advertisement purposes, Apple wouldn't be able to justify having so many content blockers on their software (such as demanding all browsers on the App Store use WebKit, stopping apps from tracking your personal device identifier and selling it back to other advertisement companies [which companies like FaceBook argue is anti-competitive]), and frequently hosted malware on its own Play Store (which, yes, the majority of the apps there aren't malware, but there are wayyyy too many instances of people getting viruses thanks to loose app store policies), then Apple would have a significantly harder time advertising those security features or justifying them.
@@acwesty World leaders and celebrities use it because their official and personal data is extremely sensitive. Their first priority is security. Also, it is not like people working at apple are smarter than those working at samsung. This is just so brilliant ad .... love it ❤ as a samsung user since 2015, (even the fridge, washing machine and so many other appliances ) I proudly flaunt my Galaxy tab in college 😊❤
I just switched from my Honor 8A yesterday to a Galaxy A35 and i'm really happy. Everything is on my phone that i wnated from the old one! ❤And the video was cute and amazing!
Even though I am an iPhone user since 2014, Samsung was my first smartphone so I have a special place for this company in my heart. I have to say this video was the most entertaining ad I've ever seen and for the first time in the last 5 years you actually released 2 really good phones (S23 and S23 plus) and the UI looks nice, good job Samsung. If ads were like that, Adblock would be pointless.
One UI has really changed the user experience a lot. I've used the S3 and S6 edge, both were beautiful phones, but have always been laggy. So, I switched to an Oneplus in '16. They were surprisingly fast unlike Samsung. So, I've used OP for the next 6 years. Bought the 3T then 7pro. But, then Carl left, OP started to rebrand Oppo. And, I thought I should probably try Samsung again for a change. Bought the S21FE, it's not an ultra, but has the same exynos. And, to my surprise it's not a Samsung of the old days. It's fast, responsive, well optimized, pretty stock-ish. I'm loving it this time.
Quite a similar trajectory as yours. Galaxy S2 > OP2 > OP3T > OP7P, still on the 7 pro. Been wanting to switch to the base Galaxy S23 but it's much more expensive than it should be because of inflation 😢
Apple user here. Not switching to anything, but this was fun. We need more humour and fun in ads like this, but without putting someone down. I love this. Well done! 😀
I switched from iPhone 14 pro max to s23 ultra, and OMG. I love this phone. The screen is AWESOME! everything about this phone is great. I have no regrets at all. Should have done this much much sooner.

Will always love Samsung for their humour. I have very fond memories with my S7 Edge. Used ASUS ROG 2 in between and loved their Zen UI as well. Changed to Pixel 5 and that has been my best Android experience yet. Switched to 14 Pro Max two years back and it has been an 10/10 experience so far. Not switching back anytime soon, but if/when I do it, it will probably be Pixel. It's a shame Huawei is banned from using Google Play Services in many countries including mine, otherwise they have the potential to be the best that Android has to offer.
@@Lusombras Those laptops literally make no sense. Who wants to play brand new raytraced games on ultra settings, on a laptop keyboard and screen, on the go for 2 hours before recharging? Just buy like an old Blade or wait for the Framework with the removable GPU and the battery extension slot.

While Apple Ad's are so cold and dark, Samsung offers vivid and exuberant Ad's. This applies to both their actual products as well.
So true, if only companies could make their adds fun like this((
If ads were like this I wouldnt use an adblocker, these are just genuinely entertaining to watch
My Samsung A20s was a great phone OneUI was never laggy on it and that was a budget phone
Now with Snapdragon they should work 2 times faster
Quite a similar trajectory as yours. Galaxy S2 > OP2 > OP3T > OP7P, still on the 7 pro. Been wanting to switch to the base Galaxy S23 but it's much more expensive than it should be because of inflation 😢

While Apple Ad's are so cold and dark, Samsung offers vivid and exuberant Ad's. This applies to both their actual products as well. From one side, with Apple products you feel somehow chained or constraint; however, with Samsung devices you feel in control and more in a position of freedom.
