This method totally worked. I will be honest that I came here with doubts and needed to piece something together for a prospect - With some feedback on my managers part which required me to include things like forecast and less filler stuff (which was less to do with the video but more to do with me). This video in particular really helped me. What I had imagined and thought up seemed very basic, elementary and BORING after I saw this video. This video HELPED me get amazing feedback and at the end I was asked if this is how I normally do my presentations? I said yes :D because this is exactly how I will do them from now on.

WOW! That's fantastic news and I'm so excited that you were able to implement some of my recommendations and got results! Obviously you stood out to the client. What was one thing you think made the biggest difference to the QBR?

@@kamcoach Honestly keeping it simple which came with preparation. I've never ever prepared for any QBR and i usually stumble my way through which i realized was making the call a very unbearable experience. I made sure to write out my QBR as if I'm telling a story followed by anecdotes, quotes and very very light 9am humor (folks who don't get their morning coffee do not respond well to anything funny) .

I just delivered my last QBR and have to say that I used 90% of your tips. The previous QBR gained quite the engagement. I emailed the QBR in advance with a timeline. Say some folks are only interested in financials rather than metrics, then they would know what time to join the meeting. After that QBR, the participation went up drastically. My last QBR was based on my client’s desires to see more-of on specific areas. My final gift to them was an awesome annual forecast calculator of my creation which everyone enjoyed. Total success. I highly recommend anyone to practice what you share on your channel.

WOW! You've MADE my day! I'm so happy that my content was useful but happier that your QBR was so compelling, increased participation and engagement and delivered results! Die it take a lot of time to make these tweaks? I've often found they're small adjustments but delivery a big impact.

@@kamcoach I invested about 2 months on my new slide deck to apply your awesome tips and to create the story I wanted to tell. After I developed that template, it only took 1 week to collect my data for the presentation: plug and play.

@@jessijuniper7687 Love that! So pleased you decided to play the long game and recognise that the time invested upfront will save you so much more time later! Keep me posted on how things develop and I'm super excited you're off to such an amazing start! You must be so pleased with how well received your efforts were!

I’m the 1st year into my role @ a rapidly growing startup.
Many companies have shifted to a remote/virtual model. Do you have any advice or resources that might help a new/learning Account Manager manage or improve their QBR process?
One of the challenges I’ve noted our team faces is the audience engagement aspect and finding time to compile a presentation.
It is a complex product and sometimes technical trainings fall on the account managers shoulders, if the support resources are limited/unavailable on a particular topic which can make time limited and intertwine the business relationship with expectations that we can speak to technical solutions.
Looking forward to learning from more of your content 🙏

I manage 50 clients, including DB, Merck APAC, HSBC, and so much more - I have been trying to work on a method to make this more engaging, and this has been very useful! I immediately can tell that you know what talking about! it is like I'm talking in the mirror 😂 some things that have been a battle from day 1 has been always trying to prove to other departments and ops the value these reviews bring! mainly due to their lack of understanding about it in my situation
    Amazing video!✔🏆
