    My lowest package is 5$ I usually take a hot bucket of water with soap and splash it over the top. Extra 1$ to dry. Jk. I do 40$ for a 1 hour quick in and out . 60$ for 2 hours with more detailed work. With a 3 hour job usually comes with clay bar treatment. That’s 120$ and that’s for just a sedan. Any Trucks , vans and suv is 60$ per hour . Plus any up charges on specific request and work

    You are doing great work and building your business. You should raise the price of your mini-detail. Your other prices are solid. I price my detailing services so I I’m earning $60 per hour. Minimum charge is $100. Wishing you much success.

    You got to build it brick by brick much respect. The price attracts clients and that generates repeats and referrals. My advice keep the people who help build you up to a slight increase $5 -10 esp if they gave referrals. Keeps the books full and pockets full.

    I run a small business by myself here in Australia, (hair salon) and most of my clients pay 178-195 , its taken years to get there , they have been seeing me for a VERY long time , their price have been rising slowly, anyone new or recommend the price starts from 220 straight off the bat. Its very important to raise prices, its a very delicate game. Try and work your way roughly up to 100/120 an hour is where you wanna be, thats the sweet spot..

    • @reynosoautodetailing
      @reynosoautodetailing  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree with that for sure, it does take a while to get price up there and increasing slowly incrementally really does work wonders and creates great client retention. 100$ an hour is the goal for sure! Thanks for the great feedback 😄

    Your prices are legit, especially for the results you provide. All but the mini detail, I think it's a bit low. Sick job man, keep it up.
    Also can you ppf on other people's garages? Don't you need a specialized space with practically no dust or any contaminants?

    My minimum and hour is $55 for a simple detail like your cheapest package . My most advance packages are $100 an hour for my time and yes I do have those clients that pay that much you just need to find them. Or in my case they find me from customer reference.

    • @reynosoautodetailing
      @reynosoautodetailing  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Completely agree on using steam over extraction.
    Your mini detail is too low in my opinion. I aim for a minimum of $75/hr and I’m a home based detailer so my operating costs are pretty low. The rest of your prices are pretty spot on. It’s my business model that a customer can only get a maintenance wash after I’ve done an exterior detail or ceramic coating.

    • @reynosoautodetailing

      Yessir extraction is too messy.

    l see your in California but I used to detail cars and it was 20 some years ago and I charged over $100 the detailing I did was for used cars to be resold what's really good for your business is that you do detail before and after pictures cuz people are into that it's hard to know what to charge when the economy is the way it is but a good quality job should be no less than $150 thanks for the tip of the extractor cuz that's what they used back then I did buy a steam unit and they're much better

    • @reynosoautodetailing
      @reynosoautodetailing  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! So I actually don’t change any pricing or discount for using or not using the clients water or power, because even if we do use their power it’s so little power for a detail that takes a few hours, could be a penny or two at most, same thing with water, so it doesn’t affect pricing :) I hope that helps

    • @Veneno099
      @Veneno099 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the paint is rough you need to clay the vehicle but if it's a newer vehicle and if the paint is smooth you could only apply a chemical to decontaminate the paint and then apply the wax/sealant.

      For freshly painted surfaces (but 30 days after being painted so the paint can cure) iron remover should be just fine (after cleaning the car and then clean it again to be sure) but yea, clays aren't hard to use if you ask me.

      @broken2550 get a perforated clay towel, not real clay unless you plan on Polishing after. Synthetic clay towel is less abrasive than traditional clay bar which you'd normally have to minimum polish after. Clay towel gets the stuck on roughness off pretty safely
