Great analagies in your explanation. Like paint being similar to skin. Good way to get clients to relate about caring and maintaining their investments.
Thank you! I completely agree it's the most relatable analogy to all people to who care about their skin and may care about their car 😄 Thanks for your support more videos coming soon!
What Acidic soap do you recommend/ use to remove old finishes? Also, you mentioned you iron deconned the paint but didn’t record. Did you use the same iron decon as the wheels? Or is there a special one for paint vs wheels? Thanks, keep up the good work
Nice deal! How do u clean the plastic covering the gauges aka dash gauges. That plastic scratches just by looking at it lol how do u guys avoid scratches
Scratches are impossible to avoid unless you PPF the gauge cluster, the only way we clean them is just with quick detailer and a soft paint microfiber towel
In this scenario with a perforated clay mitt or clay towel they’re much less aggressive than clay bars so no need to polish if you’re going to do a sealant or wax. For ceramic coatings we use clay bars and we do follow up with a polish or paint correction
great video... generally any scratches in abundance will look like swirls... they look like swirls because the sun is round... :b it's true though. Nothing wrong with washing the car the way you do though that's for sure! Great job
That's very true I agree, it's just tons of scratches in different directions and the way the sun hits it they look like swirls and circles! Thank you for the feedback and thanks for supporting the channel! I'm glad you enjoyed 😄 More videos coming soon stay tuned
I’ve been taught since day 1 to never clay if I’m not going to polish after, especially before a ceramic coat. Is there a reason why you didn’t polish?
Great question. You definitely shouldn’t clay without polishing after, that is using a conventional clay bar, they are somewhat aggressive and are marring the paint surface. When compared to a clay mitt like I used in the video, clay mitts are a lot safer, softer, and have pores to catch contaminants and alleviate marring. So side by side clay bars will mar paint 100%, and clay mitts with perforations will mar paint about 10-20% of what a clay bar would do. For a small clay and protect service like this video where our clients are just looking for cleaning and protection and not concerned with every imperfection in the paint, this is perfect
Where do you draw the line on cleaning the interior and setting proper expectations for the customer if they’re expecting their interior to look perfect after? I assume this is more of a “mini/quick” interior cleaning rather than a full detail based on the price alone
Yes exactly this interior is only a vacuum and wipe down, if I know it needs more I will offer a service to match that. Prior to starting a detail we always go through questions to find the needs of a client and offer a service to match what the interior needs, and when we arrive we confirm that service will provide good results for the car, while breaking down the expectations, letting them know what will look better and what won’t, and especially that it will not be perfect.
This car was sitting overnight and wasn’t driven so the wheels were cold and you can start working on them immediately, we spray and rinse down wheels when they’re warm or extremely dirty or muddy

so no need to polish after clay baring and applying any type of sealant or ceramic coating?

What did you spray on it and what clay tower did you use
For claying I use soap in a foam cannon as a lubricant, P&S pearl auto shampoo to be exact, and then I use the p&s clay towel
How many ounce water and soap I want to learn when do you wash the car 🚗 for claying

What pretreatment did you use ?
Why didn’t you rinse rims before scrubbing them with the dirt on
This car was sitting overnight and wasn’t driven so the wheels were cold and you can start working on them immediately, we spray and rinse down wheels when they’re warm or extremely dirty or muddy
How much for a simple wipe down and blowout for a 2001 is300 and a standard exterior wash ?
The service that we offer that best describes what you mentioned would be our Mini Detail, usually on average between 99-125
Great price. I do the same for no less than 125. Thats my minimum charge and service for 2024. Keep up the great work bro@reynosoautodetailing
@@kirkwilson5900 Thanks man I appreciate the feedback! 125 is a great number that’s what I’m striving to start at
I really like your videos man im tired of watching other guys that are so salesman always trying to plug their course or products
Thanks man I appreciate you watching! Absolutely I only share what I know that has worked for me in my business
You didn’t do a iron remover on the paint claying doesn’t remove all of the iron .
I did we just forgot to record that part lol but yes you’re right iron remover on paint is a necessary step!
@@reynosoautodetailing 👍great video buddy
