I now only detail car interiors with my mobile business. No more badly kiddied vans or nasty work trucks or SUVs. Percentage wise there are more cars on the road than the other vehicles I mentioned. I spend less time in the sun. Minis are $49, $59 or $69 Canadian depending on the condition of the interior. Full details with steam cleaning of carpets and seats $99, $129, or $159. I proudly state that I am the Dollar Store of Detailing. lol...other local detailers hate me for it. One of my marketing strategies is leaving 10 business cards on driver side doors in large parking lots when I go shopping for groceries or go to Walmart. Not too many so as to make it obvious. This is sniper advertising as I choose which cars I want. It is like planting seed. People are more inclined to save a business card than a flyer. They will put it in the glove box, console storage or in their visor for future reference. Oh yeah, I can also see the the condition of car interiors. I have a customer base of about 2,000 people from when I was detailing full time and a lot of loyal, long time customers who keep me busy but not too busy.
