Kat, I love what you have to say. Love your content and advice, and gentle nature and tone. But dear, please don’t say ‘it’s not that hard’. You’ve said this at least twice in this chat, and I’ve seen it on your channel too. Kat, please understand that for many people, even getting out of bed is very difficult. I understand you’re trying to be encouraging, but please use another encouraging phrase. I hope I can say this on behalf of many struggling people. Thank you.
She says “it’s not that hard” being as she has fly babies with health issues who still get out of bed and do the basics, so it’s meant as encouragement, if they can do it with their health issues, we can too.
I'm retired now, just caring for my husband which many times is like caring for a child. LOL. I've been a stay at home mom for 9 years and then a working mom , then a work from home grandmother with her own business, then a working grandmother again, then retired. So I've done it all. Love the Flylady system, works in all stages of life I recently started ordering my groceries to be delivered.... this is the most miraculous thing I have ever done and I believe I'm saving money because I'm not making impulse purchases, or should I say my husband isn't making them. Love it and everything I've had delivered in great quality as well (which was my only objection to doing this)
I used to listen to a book on tape on the way to work and the funny thing is I was only 5 minutes from work, but I completed an entire book 5 minutes at a time. I looked forward to listening to that book. I am retired now and yesterday after lunch my husband and I each took a drawer from the dresser in the dining room and decluttered it and organized it. All regular glasses and sun glasses were put in a shoe container and moved to the office. All masks from the car and those drawers were out in a shoe container and moved to the office. Now those drawers are so neat and tidy holding things I can access each day or week as needed. So satisfying. I love getting my husband involved and he doesn’t seem to mind because it only takes a few minutes.
I’m sure that is very hard! Try setting aside 1-2 hrs each week on one of your days off to get all of your weekly and zone cleaning done all at one time. Schedule it like an appointment. If you can get it done all at once, you can get it off your list and out of your head and you don’t have to think about it again until the next week. It won’t be easy, but you can do it! I’m over here cheering for you! 💕
I compress my zone cleaning into 1 solid hour per week. More chance of me doing it. Sometimes i do two zones in one week 😮😂
That’s how I like to do my zones as well.

I love that your husband helps you organize! 💕
Wish I would have practiced the Flylady when I had small children at home!
You can still do it, AnnaMargaret!
I wish I had started when mine were really young, too, but it’s not too late to jump in now!
Me too! But now I’m onto grandchildren. My DIL loves Flylady!
Carrie Grace you and Kat did a wonderful job.

Id love to see a video on ‘how to tidy’… I usually get caught up doing things thoroughly.
I’ll add this to my list of videos. Thank you.
Great collab! ❤
Thank you! It was really fun.
I really need some advice on how to do all this while being a single mom who works 5-6 days a week. It is tough...and tiring...
