I love watching your videos. Im 62 and find you very inspiring. My hub and I are empty nesters now, we raised 7 kids (yours, mine, ours, and someone elses). Nothing went to waste.
When I used to have chickens, I would throw melon rinds into the coop. They loved them so much, especially watermelon, the cleaned them down to the outside rind. I'm sure it was refreshing during the summer.

I still make my 21 and 18 yr old lunches!! My son is in auto tech school and my daughter is a senior this year but I still like putting special things in their lunch! I’m going to miss it this will be the last few weeks I get to do it! My daughter is going off to college in the fall 😢

Thank you for your videos! I found you on you tube randomly it’s seems like not even a year ago. It was at a point in my life when I needed some encouragement, enlightenment, something. I am 62 and feel much younger than I am. I have two adult children at home who have changed their college studies, and I am really embracing their choices and spending time with them. You remind me of myself when I was younger raising my kids doing all the over and above things for them and over doing the holidays, so much over the top fun decorating and celebrating every holiday. I wouldn’t trade that for the world! Life happened along the way disappointments, happiness, deaths, discouragements, advances, questioning what I was doing. Girl you are working so hard! Kudos to you, it will not return void believe me. You are such a blessing to your family. My kids are 30 and 33 years old and back at home for their career changes which are going to be so great for them. I’m still doing decorating, maybe not so crazy except for Halloween and Christmas lol. They have been expressing to me how much it means to them and how they still love it. Keep on doing you, it’s worth it! Always take care of yourself, I wish I had that advice for my younger self. Your doing it right be proud of yourself you deserve it! Long message but thank you for helping be still remain in my 40s 🥰🙏

WOW!! We were stunned to see you preparing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for your children's lunches. PB isn't allowed in North Texas schools because of severe allergies. They hide the rule behind a nutrional content clause regarding fat grams which excludes PB but it's really due to allergies.
How long do you static nails last? Are they pretty durable?
I love to watch you work and wonder how you manage to stay clean and dry!! I would have that red pepper all over me as well as water! An apron is absolutely necessary for me. ❤

I'm not a morning person. Try get up at 5. 5 to 6 I drink coffee and try to wake up. Then get kids up and give them some breakfast. Kids get a warm proper lunch In school for free. Kids walk to school. Workday starts at 8 and usually with meeting. I work from home but hardly have to go to toilet. So work and more work hole day. And so much more coffee😄 I just love your dinners. You can come to cook for us too😂
Not gardening yet. Spring it late here. There is snow on the ground😮💨

Sweet Angel, I’m in my 60’s: 5 kids: 4 girls , 1 boy, my mom advice is what I tell my kids. As tired as you feel get dinner dishes done right after dinner, prep coffee pot and just put a “turn me on sign” 😊 I’m still doin* it as a empty nester; It just adds to a good morning. Also right after dinner I started making sandwiches and packing lunch. Kids can pick out snacks then too. It always made my mornings much more pleasant getting out the door. You’re doing an Amazing job!

I am new to the whole food prep thing. Can you tell me why you wet a paper towel and put it into the container of already wet, chopped lettuce?
Also, how long can it all stay wet and sealed in there? I would think mold.

I’ve recently been dreading the fact that I am going to go from 2 weekdays all to myself to none due to upcoming schedule changes.
I was wondering how I would work maintain the house, work 10 hour days 5 days a week, and then spend all day Saturday and Sunday parenting without a single day to myself. But seeing you work that much and take the time to do all that you do (home, fitness, makeup, etc) has inspired me. I think that I often greatly underestimate my capabilities. So thank you!

Love these vlog style videos! I am a mom of three girls ages 4, 7 and 9. I am 100% responsible for them all day long so I wake up early to get myself together. Starting at 6:30am it’s all about the kids. They have school 8-2, homework until 4 then I cook dinner while they play together ❤ Bed time 8:00 sharp.
4 kids. All grown now. We eat ice cream for breakfast if we want. Obviously I love my kids more than life but I enjoy a much slower routine now. Every season is different but awesome in its own way.

We’re still getting freezing temps at night here in the mountains of Idaho! The rule is to wait for the snow to melt on a specific peak.. usually after Mother’s Day.

I have 9 kids as I said normal day when this happens my 8 kids were swimming I had my 7 month yr old with me inside like I said in the pool my oldest were in deep my 1 yr old is on the steps my 1 yr old wonders hmm should I yes should she she friend ok my 3rd youngest witch is 5 yrs my 5 yr old sees this she risks her life and throws her floaty to her baby sister and she starts drowning. 3 kids, I’m a mom of all boys ❤ my 2 oldest 6 & 8 years pack their own lunch the night before as part of an after school chore list. Then all the packed lunch boxes go in the fridge. In the morning I just have to throw ice packs in each lunchbox and put them in their backpacks 🎒 works great!

Mom of 3 girls😊. Two in HS and one in Jt High. I have to get up at 5 am and the BS kids get up at 5:30 because buses come at 6:15am. School starts at 7:10 😳. I still use bento boxes just larger ones and I cook more Asian inspired meals because I can pack a lot of food into their lunches that way. I love the containers you use for your cheese and lunch meat. Can you link them?
Three kids here, 9, 12, and 14. They love hot lunch but I try to pack cold lunch for nutrients when I can, lol. Part-time freelance editor, and I struggle with balance! Thanks for the tips!

Mom to 4 children. I have junior highs soon to be Highschool and elementary school age children. My husband prepares their lunch and snacks before he heads out to work. Whenever I prepare lunch it’s left over dinner from the night before.

I have two grandchildren in elementary school. I make lunches at 3 so I am up making a lunch for my son-in-law already. It is easier to do them all at once. Drop off kids at 7:30 and shop for the day and walk through store to get my steps in.

Hi Lauren for me being Italian it’s the tomatoes / basil/ onions / parsley / garlic if you chop it all up and roast them all together on a cookie sheet with olive oil you can then cool transfer to blender purée and then I bag it for homemade sauce through the whole winter🥰

Those are very large ziplocs for oranges or a sandwich. Sistema has a great sandwich container and it’s thin so it doesn’t take up a lot of room. Only say cause you used that brand for carrots

This year for the first time I’ve planted tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumbers, radishes, summer squash and some herbs. My family thinks I’m crazy because I got out and talk to my plants and live on them 😂😂😂 but as anything else they need loving too
You need to a have a day where you can just be child free.
You must not have kids 🤣 wish us mamas could have more time to ourselves for sure! :)
