This will not work for a single working mom of multiple children all in their own activities. I struggle with having any time for myself as I have to be that mom that gets up early to make things work. But that also means that I also have to get to bed right with my children go to sleep. And that’s if they all actually go to bed without getting up multiple times. My children are young and require an hr to get them ready in the morning and at least an hr to get them all ready for bed if I were to include their individual reading, baths, and a tad bit of one on one time putting them all to bed. It’s so exhausting. And I have also realized to prioritize sleep over waking up early to get things done. Thus, things do not get done, lol.
Hey Melissa. You are doing a wonderful job. God bless you and your family. Do what works for you. My sister is a single mom with 4 and I always try to tell her to fill her cup so you can pour into the kids. it looks different for everyone.
You are right, my friend. Being a single mom of multiple children is hard and requires lots of sacrifices. But it is still possible to find time for yourself. A few suggestions of things that I've had to let go of over the years as I make time for my business: daily baths, doing pretty hairstyles, making homemade meals, doing laundry the "right" way, and even 1-on-1 time with my kids each day. I'm not saying this is the "right" way and I'm not saying it's going to be what you ultimately want. But if you allow yourself a little flexibility with the things you think you "should" be doing, you just might find a few extra minutes for the things that your brain and body need and want. Because you matter too, mama. Check out this podcast episode, I think it might be helpful for you! th-cam.com/video/ADtUfbg5iZw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=L5k2BZ6z6Kw0MxI2
Hi, thanks for this. Good to hear from a Homeschooling mom. Just wondering what are you little kids doing when you start work? I have a similar routine homeschool in the morning then try to start work around 1pm But constantly being interrupted by the kids
@@MsAnilakhangood question! My kids are generally reading, playing outside or with toys. It took quite a bit of time for them to learn to respect my work time and they’re still not perfect at it! I lock myself in my office and put a sign on the door when I’m recording or can’t be interrupted. The big kids are pretty good at helping the younger ones get what they need. Keep trying!
I really enjoyed your tips! Mindset is everything! Thanks for the reminder. 😊
