Going to KL next month with my daughter cant wait!
I find this video really interesting, so I'm just going to spend 2minutes saying a couple of things:
    1. Yes shopping mall foods are not only good in SEA but it's just a lot more convenient and comfortable when compared to street vendors, worth the extra price.
    2. You had Kopi C, which is black coffee with condensed milk, it does taste like a vanilla latte, but its not exactly milk based, more of condense milk base which we SEA love more than milk based drinks.
    3. You gotta eat that nasi lemak with your hands jimmy
    4. KFC is somewhat boycotted in Malaysia due to the whole Israel vs Palestine conflict
    5. No offence to Koreans, but having a Korean as a boss in my previous job, Malaysians and Indonesians have pretty much over-romanticised the whole Korean population!

Malaysia's household name kopitiam, "Old Town White Coffee" is going down and "Oriental Kopi" is going up n rising!
Ahh, the egg tart there, I'm telling ya, is waaay better than those famous ones in Macau.
Just like "Ddungkarong 뚱카롱, Korean fat macaron", these egg tarts are 3times thicker and heartier.
My Korean friend who's been in KL 3 days for food trip went there every single day to get those egg tarts.
Recommend you to eat them when hot!
And Jimmy, there's 'Five Guys' at Pavilion and 'Shake Shack Burger' at TRX (way cheaper than in the U.S. or Europe) and
Liao Liao, yogurt fruit ice cream place. Absolutely delicious.
In addition, recommend you 'Hakka' (round table Chinese eatery) right across Pavilion Chulan entrance and 'Damascus' in Bukit Bintang!

14:00 Nasi Campur literally means Mixed Rice. It has nothing to do with Javanese, even though Indonesia might have a few versions of thier own, such as Nasi Padang. Nasi Campur is steamed rice served with a selection of side dishes of your choice. Side dishes are mostly Malay cuisine but can also be certain food found in Indonesian and Southern Thailand, commonly consumed and made popular by their respective descendants living in Malaysia.
By the way, what you had in the video was a pre-set Nasi Campur. The real Nasi Campur in Malaysia is served buffet-style. You choose the dishes yourself out of a big spread.

You got it wrong, nasi lemak is not a chicken dish as we treat rice as our main food.... So it's a rice dish serve with chicken, as it can come only with the sambal, or other proteins...

Yea Kpop and Korean drama has instill some kinda of good image of Korea in the Southeast Asian region, especially for young generation of girls. So these companies try to make money using Korean image, at some point almost all kinds of food outlets have Korean inspired menu, from pizza to burgers. U dont even have to look far, there are bunch of billboards that have giant face of these Korean oppas as ambassadors in Bukit Bintang area where u at.
