We have a feeling you'll definitely enjoy the McSpicy - it's a Singaporean institution at McDonalds. Alternatively - we have a never ending list of hawker centres here, hope to see a part 2 of your Michelin street food series here! ;)
It looks like everyone is bummed that I didn't get the McSpicy. I'll definitely try that next time! And yes, I'll revisit Singapore for more hawker center food videos🫡

I have a feeling most other Singaporeans watching this together with me feel frustration at some of the things you ate haha! But glad you were adventurous and that you liked the kaya toast!
It depends. I tried the one at Bukit Merah and it doesn’t taste good but when I tried it again a month ago, bought it from Westgate. It’s pretty good. The one at Bukit Merah is just a shop as it’s own so maybe depends on the location
So basically when you are staying on Sentosa Island on holiday, by far the most (only?) easily accessible shopping mall is Vivocity. My wife, daughter and I would stay at a hotel on Sentosa when we visited Singapore and since there isn't anything to actually do there we would go to Vivocity every day. By day 3 I was ready to claw my eyes out but my wife and daughter loved it. They do have a crazy selection of restaurants and the Food Republic isn't great but it's not terrible.
Growing up, both my parents loved mashed potatoes, so I had my fill the first time I had rice. I was 12 years old. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. This form of starch was just so amazing. In my late 50s, I roast potatoes sometimes but almost always have rice so many different kinds. I love Basmati and sushi rice brown rice both short n long 😋
For McD it's best to try the double mcspicy & mccrispy chicken for a 1st tike experience of singapore's McDonald's since those promotional burgers are usually a hit or miss with people coming from overseas KFC in singapore has fell of a lot over the years, removing ala king rice bucket, roasta burger was their biggest mistake
the mcd and kfc you order are special limited promotion items for national day instead of the regular menu items. fast food often have limit promotion offerings here
bro i really appreciate it when you actually check out the what the price is relative to the exact location lol like unc roger in a very modern mall (unlike other youtubers who will scream WAWWW rm20 fried rice its hella cheap!!)... it gives viewers better picture...
3:14 the bread is customised n available only to Yakun, it's not supermarket kind of bread. The rest of the other brands also customised their bread with the bakery.
**** HELLO to JIMMY! (SINGAPOREAN HERE!) **** I REALLY hoped there was a way for me to have known you were coming to Singapore!!!! I AM A STRONG FOLLOWER OF YOU BECAUSE YOU VISITED INTERNET CAFE in (developing countries) - THOSE VIDEOS gave me a very broad and new perspective how some places function. I am thankful to you - and for the MOST part you were very peaceful to all the children that were in the videos.
Hi Jimmy! Since my wife and I are in Singapore at the moment, would you care about a meet and greet this week maybe? We are big fans from Austria in Europe so it’s hard to meet you otherwise haha. Let us know, I am sure we are not the only ones 😂 keep up the amazing job! ❤❤❤
I was aghast at the food you’re eating which wasn’t the best representation of Singapore so I hope you can get locals to guide you in future so that you can have a better experience here. Anyway, thanks for visiting! ❤
@ it’s not just the taste of food, but rather the food that represents Singapore when you think of it. For example, our Mac Donald is famous for our Mac spicy and buttermilk crispy chicken burger both of which are renown around the region and our Mr Coconut is also one of those famous drinks you have to try at VivoCity!
Less sweet options if you found that Ya Kun coffee too sweet Kopi-c kosong (said like 꼬삐씨 꼬송) C refers to evaporated milk that is less sweet Kosong basically means no sugar
Thought all the singapore videos were over but we got surprised U got to try OldChangkee! Think u might have gotten a old batch because it's usually too hot to eat immediately. Unfortunately u didnt get to try McSpicy at Mcdonalds, that's the go to for locals.
You should have visited Beach Road Scissors Cut Rice branch in Vivo city...that is more heritage brand than those in food court. Better if you visit the OG beach road scissor cut rice shop
Hello! Kopi doesn't have sugar as condensed milk is already sweet. Unless is Kopi C then it's made with evaporated milk and sugar. You can ask for less sweet, more concentrated (gao) kopi etc..As evaporated milk is unsweetened. Kaya's main ingredients are eggs, coconut and sugar. Singapore's McDonald's you need to try the garlic chilli sauce with fries etc!
@@FlyArrow-g8b No, most are brewed coffee then filtered. The sugar/condensed milk/evaporated milk are added according to the order given. Same as the black tea, which are brewed from tea leaves/tea dust. Whether the drinks taste good or not would depends on the quality of the beans and leaves they chose and blend with. Also the quality of the milk they use and the brewing master.
Jimmy, welcome to Singapore. Please try the chilli crab and satay in our country. You get a better representation of our cuisine. Avoid eating fast food over here as it is overpriced and not good 😂 You can also try Laksa and Nasi Lemak over here. These are my comfort food as a local Singaporean❤
Here in San Francisco Chinatown one restaurant I ate charges $25 for a plate of roast pork and roast duck. It was good but quite expensive as well. As a roast duck lover, I wish I could visit Singapore before I die, although I have to say I don't feel comfortable over 70 degree fahrenheit.
as a singaporean i feel this "chope" (reserving of table using an item) culture is kinda cute n i guess unique. But i personally witnessed a few incident where the tourist i reckon got into an argument with some locals i guess the "chopee" . kinda funny tbh 😅 cos if i am tourist i would prolly think l someone left their belongings there 😂
When in Singapore, don't go near KFC. It's the worst chicken joint we have. Jollibee or Texas chicken is much better And at McDonald's the McSpicy is KING. It's the best spicy chicken burger in the world, even better than Chick-Fil-A
You guys need to be patient! He could have another video coming ! Also he can try whatever he wants to first it his channel. Its not his first time here and it wont be his last so be patient with him.
Hey! Uncle Jimmy that i wished i had. I thought your videos was always enchanting been watching it for a while here. So unlike ur spotify music which is gloomy it is once in a while great u might wanna play magnetic (illit) your love of course uncle jimmy AngelJohnTitus
hi jimmy im a new viewer and your videos are very enjoyable, i would appreciate it if you put in the price of the food in the video's country too! hope to see more content from you
@jimmykimtv I don't think there's coconut in kaya...when my mum made it, there was this leaf called pandan, that's what gives the kaya that green colour...btw, you look like my younger brother...but his skin is darker...we're Malaysian. but Chineses Malaysian...my only connection to Korea is I did Taekwondo since I was 9...we live in Austarlia now in Sydey, in a suburb called Eastwood, where the Korean population is close to 90% now...

McCrispy from Mcdonald is way better than KFC
Good to see that @VisitSingapore is a fan.

50/50 tbh but so far i order 4 times all not soggy, maybe luck lor.
Totally 😂
You’re always so sincere and truthful, no holding back haha and i love it 💜 Thanks for a quick mall foodie tour!! Can’t wait for more videos ~~~
Haha, i had to express my opinion honestly! It's a sin to overhype mediocre food 🤣
A lot of food choices at this mall!! It looks appetizing and I like the McDonald sandwich sauce.. Thanks for sharing
kfc is infamously bad in singapore for their chicken. popeyes, jolibee and chicaboo are much better
Yeah, either the meat is dry, or the breading is too thick, soggy and salty. Usually all at once.
bro what? kfc in singapore is sososo good, but then again last time i went was 2017
@@김태연-b5udepends on outlet bro!
i feel like after eating many KFCs here, there’s only a few outlets are great. The rest… pretty disappointing
You must be kidding?
I tried Singapore kfc and its delicious af but it was in
2019 so idk what it taste now so ye

Hi Jimmy! I just noticed that you have an attached earlobe!!! So cool!
hi jimmy!!! singapore's mcspicy from mcdonalds is probably one of the most popular foods people get!! only sometimes do their special burgers hit :'))
It’s good that after bad experience “mail made cafe” jimmy back to basics.
Arnold’s chicken is the best frieddd chicken!! The worst is Marry Brown.
You need to try chilly crab and other seafood at Jumbo! so good!
Welcome to Singapore!!!!!!!!
Nx time come try local coffee shop foods, maybe with Zermatt team to intro u. Like hidden foods
In the Philippines, the potato bowl is called here famous bowl, and its small portion compared to Singapore

dont coffee shops use those instant packets one so already have extra sugar in them since coffee is bitter even with sugar?

Yeah, gotta say claypot rice shall be preferably from the streets instead.
Yes as a Singapore , the cost of food really expensive cause of the inflation rate and economic

Oh damn. You tried the embarrassingly disgusting satay burger. That's 1 of the most awful seasonal burger in Singapore's McDonald's.

Jimmy will you ever do a small video on your skincare routine! Pretty plz, for how much bad food you eat, you look amazingly young and healthy!
