Of all the micro records it's one of the biggest if not the biggest records it's a very impressive performance I can't wait to see what John does this will be fun it's what racing is all about people!
To us it’s a big deal. We are out here trying to push these parts harder than has been done. Can’t wait until he fires back! 2024 will be awesome. I don’t know about him, but it’s keeping racing alive with these friendly competitions.
Hey you got the car out on the track great job been watching your build videos come right along love the green paint job good luck this summer racing I hope you win a bunch later bye
Man i really hope your TH-cam takes off!! I was checking my phone every 30 minutes it seemed like last week to see what was going on!! So pumped for you and your team!
There are very few cars in the world I love more than the Mandingo but this car has already earned its keep and I know you have soo much more to do with the testing I am excited to see it man you are my hero!
Got to enjoying your videos after seeing you on the clapd out podcast, daaaayum! Never seen a build like this and make that kinda progress 1st time out. Incredible, great job!
That’s awesome! Thanks For following man! I’m definitely not afraid of putting in the hours. I was hopeful it would do just what it did. So it did not disappoint!
Congrats on your record breaking. Met you at Mid Michigan Motorplex a couple times. Love your videos and projects. I'd like to bring my car up and let you work some magic on it. Keep up the good work sir
Hey...! CONGRATULATIONS on busting ' his ass ( nothing personal )... lol, and the RECORD!!! I'm outta' the woods with the treatment BS. It has been almost 2 1/2 years and I just had to dissappear to deal with it... but it's done and gone! Funny how much money I saved... lol, and NOW we are going to make another splash as I scanned and shot the chassis last week... and it hit all the targets... it is better than I thought. The new motorplates were the key. When I fabbed the last PM chassis' and CF updates for the California Kids'... before they went to Dubai and won... I think they were skeptical although " Royal Spanky " thanked me beyond belief after those wins. These two will be worth another 2 - 3 mph above them... and mine is done... now for the build lol ! Good to see you doing so great, KUDO'S my friend... talk to you soon. Respectfully, Seth
@@silversurfer_ss6411 yessir! We have some wiggle room everywhere and I couldn’t be more happy with how it ran fresh off the Dyno. Thanks man! I just keep it simple. Try not to change too much at once.
@@silversurfer_ss6411 we’ve had similar combos in 58-60 psi. Similar stuff leaving in 12-15 psi and 60’s way harder at 5-600lbs heavier. I left off leaning on 7.5 psi with a 1.2 second boost ramp to 45 psi. I’ll take an educated guess that it’ll go .990-1.00 60 and on 15 more psi I’d have to assume it will atleast pick up 5-7 more mph before it’s tapped? I firmly believe I can get it into the 3.9x’s. How deep is the question. There’s a lot left to be had just in that first 1 second of time.
It gives everyone doing it something to chase and a goal. Its very impressive either way you look at it, hydraulic roller going bottom 4s damn near dipping into the 3.9s is wild and fun to follow

Congratulations that's awesome. Your hard work payed off. I'm going to build a drag and drive car with a small block Chevy. Have you had any experience with the Johson variable duration leak down roller lifters?
Just the goal of reaching this with what I’ve been running and had ran on the past. Tried not changing the combo much just refine it in a better chassis kind of thing.

Don't think i heard you mention it in the video. What kind of rods did you go with? I know you said its longer length, but did you go aluminum or just a steel style similar to off shelf items?
I don’t think I did. It has an r&r aluminum rod 6.620 length. They’ve been so much better lately a lot of these guys are doing drag and drives. So we figured we best. Good thing we did because they were still 720 grams each. Couldn’t imagine what a comparable steel rod would have been.
