Got one a few weeks ago, i have a 5mile rt commute and can charge at work so its ideal, petrol engine comes in handy for longer journeys. Did a 240mile trip and averaged 60mpg without stopping to charge
@@impyr3x293 no bud - the car runs idrive 8.5 and comes with them - i think the new 330e runs idrive 9 so perhaps thats why it comes with new sounds compared to mine despite the cars being effectively the same
Interesting review, thanks. I bought a 330e sedan new in November 2022, it now has 18,750 km on the clock. Solar power on the roof at home equals free battery charging in daylight hours. Whole-of-life power split figures (from the My BMW app) are 55% of driving on battery / 45% on petrol . That equates to a fuel burn of 2.8 litres per 100 km or 100.88 miles per gallon in the old money. Could probably do better than that, but driving should be fun, not worrying about wringing every last kilometre out of the petrol being used. So I never switch the a/c off, and never use ‘eco pro’. This is my sixth BMW, and certainly the best.
Currently I have a g20 saloon and last year I averaged 121 mpg, my commute is within 20 miles total, and on longer journeys I have managed 53mpg on petrol alone. I am the exact customer this car is aimed at, frankly its been an excellent car and I am looking for a used g21 330e as I am so impressed by the car as a whole

Very handy and anything above 50mpg is good in my books, for an even bigger and heavier car, more so 👌🏻
Great video mate
Thanks guys!
I’ve got a Brooklyn grey touring (Msport pro) - I charge it on my driveway. Best car I have ever owned by a huge margin. Bloody quick too.
My son home had wired for level 2 charge, his commute on battery only. He says handles like his old 328
That's good
Hang on- I’ve got the new shape 330e and mine doesn’t make these sounds! Maybe when it has its first service they will update the software for it
How new are we talking? I think it's going to be a very recent thing to be introduced
@@Lukuss Sept 2023 - assuming its a software thing as the car is exactly the same in every other respect
@@Fastwunz did u buy the bmw iconicSounds?

I bought a 330d, rwd... literally the best car in the world... I've no problem being a dinosaur driving cars fuelled by dinosaurs

Sounds like you're making the most of what it has to give
Fantastic video bro
