    ive got the X330e and I love the hybrid. I get around 15 miles on the charge which is plenty for inner city stuff. The energy recovery is pretty neat too. But I think its best of both worlds tbh. I charge it over night and set it to prep each morning so its ready to go at 8am. It deffo has more power with the extra electrical power. The downside is the boot is a pitiful size.

    Mixture of in town and highway .
    MSport mode for 10 seconds at speed is great for overtake in the motorway . Really flys. Preferred this to the m340i just for the hybrid .

    Still awaiting a video to explain adaptive mode. I believe it links to sat nav destinations when inputted to control petrol vs electric to maximise range. So when you arrive in town it still has enough electrical energy left for you to drive in town Not sure if hybrid eco does that also. ?

    Hi, I think I am getting one of these as a company car but as I can’t charge at home I’ll likely only charge 1-2 times per week. In your opinion will that be detrimental to the battery and more so is the mpg particularly poor in that scenario ? One final question is based on my ability to only charge 1-2 per week, which mode would be best…hybrid ? Thank you (mine would be the saloon version)

    • @MoreGeorge
      @MoreGeorge  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Tim! My latest video touches on real world MPG figures as I also very rarely charge the car due to circumstances. Hybrid is good because the car always holds back SOME electric power, as I often notice I'm driving around in electric only even after not charging (it does charge itself to a certain extent with re-gen braking) MPG will be worse without charging but depends on what kind of driving you will be doing. I'm getting just over 30mpg and thats using Hybrid for motorway runs (no charging beforehand)

BUT, it's a ton of fun... for it being a big family sedan with a battery in the back . And, I cannot stress this enough, the Pirelli Cinturado P7s that it come with are absolute hot garbage on the track. Sure, you can pull 1.2g into a braking zone. Once. Then you're sliding all over the place for the rest of the lap. I'm waiting until these are done to put some Pilot Sports on - hopefully those are better!
