Velvethamma very easy install. I had to cut my dash a bit on the inside top and bottom. There's a little bit of plastic in the way. But not a big deal at all.
Connected the wiring harness for my 2012 GMC Sierra... very similar to the one you showed in the video. However, I can't get the Pioneer stereo to power on. Any troubleshooting tips?
Hi, what did you do with the ground wire (black wire)? Instruction manual mentions to connect it to metal part of car. I don't know what to do with it. Please let me know!
The ground for this kit, went from the radios wire harness, to the ground wire on the factory harness. I didn't have to hook anything to the body. But if your installation calls for it, just put a ring terminal on the wire, and take a self tapper to a metal support in your dash. But take a look. There might already be grounds in there. In that case, just unscrew it and add your ground to it.
my phone icon is greyed out. I don't know what im doing wrong. I have the bypass installed as well. the radio connects to my phone for music but not calls. #Stumped
