Reanimate the dead eh? Wouldn't that mean GLaDOS would revive Chell after she had died, therefore making Chell's life a living hell, (revenge) and a Portal 3 would arise?
No, I mean when Chell dies of old age or natural problems. GLaDOS was talking about reanimating the dead, meaning if she wanted, she could bring back Chell?
Pastlife17 its also just like the story "i have no mouth and i want to scream" where an evil computer keeps human beings alive to torture over and over again. Reanimate the dead to continue the torture over again.
GLaDOS is of course a huge liar -- she lies all the time, almost always to make Chell feel bad or afraid. She lies about her parents, lies about the employees, lies about Chell's appearance, lies about the tests, lies about cake. Her threatening to re-animate Chell after she dies is probably just another mean-spirited lie to make Chell feel hopeless. On the other hand, though, the ability to pour someone's consciousness into a computer already exists right there in that facility already, so who knows!
3:36 I have watched this so many times and only now realised that they made the pod turn and block the exit with the pod hatch, making it so you would not be able to leave the pod when it starts moving. Nice move valve.
There was so much suspension with glados, then whealty starts his funny/stupid text when you have to jump so you relax, you think it is over and you got out and 2 min later you realize how wrong you were great
When I played this part for the first time, I tried (and failed) to hide behind Wheatley. My stomach still twists when she crushes him. #wheatleysympathizer
I've always wondered, how did Wheatly manage to get back out of the chamber after GLaDOS basically breaks him and throws him into an area where he's not in range of anything to plug in to. if anyone can explain this to me, I would very much appreciate it.
from what i understand (not entirely sure) but in one of the chapters when you use the aerial launch pad and Wheatley tries to tell you something, i think he tries to say that a bird connected him back to the maintenance rail. Don't quote me on it though
Yeah I think that's what he says but how is that possible because he's in GLaDOS's room and she stays in there so wouldn't she see the bird pick him up
Yes. And did you also notice the sound of emancipation grill emancipating something when she threw him away? His death had such feeling of finality, that for 2/3 of the game I thought that Wheatley after meeting GLaDOS was a different core. And the one before was some kind of "tutorial" core or something. A twin.
The Announcer's voice has improved since the 2010 trailer. Now he's saying POWER-UP COMPLETE like 'You really failed and have nothing to do about it, congratulations'
This scene was a better reveal than most horror bosses especially the fact I beat the original game first, so I relived meeting her AGAIN after killing her myself.
Portal 2 is undeniably one of the greatest video games of all time. The game offers so much: story, characters, voice acting, humor, graphics, atmosphere, and gameplay (there’s literally not a single video game I can think of with a better and more linear learning curve and pacing). MASTERPIECE!!!
I've played portal(1), and when wheatly waked she up, i said: DAMN YOU! SHE WILL KILL US!!!!! Also, i very liked as she said:"You mist really, really love to test". That voice...
I played the game on spanish back then. English voice of GLaDOS sounds so sexy and menacing. It makes sense that she's so pissed off after what happened to her in portal 1.
I was trembling when my 8 yr old cousin showed me that im only 2 years older than him but i still overreact to things like when he showed me the cube. I love the cube. The cube is my leader.

cleo958 neither - afterall glados went back to being nice after she was taken off the main frame
Ember Wolf
Exactly, that thing makes them go mad
Ember Wolf GLaDOS went from being all powerful to being a weak potato, it's no wonder she started playing nice.
Ember Wolf Yeah, she only killed all the people in the facility (except one), but then she turned nice, so everything worked out :D
I felt real fear when GLaDOS woke up. I love her but that music was menacing.
"... They might devote their existence to exacting... revvvENGE."
Oh talk to me dirty GLaDOS
why does this have 27 likes
This is why there’s a gun pointing at my head.
Now it's 59
Oops
I made it 60
XD
OH GOD
Yea that last part about GLaDOS and the dirty talk.
No. Never again l
act natural act natural!! do nothing wrong! O.O Hello! :D
Yes that is what I said
...Oh. It's you.
You know her!?
Its been a long time... How have you been?
You did what??!!!
No, I mean when Chell dies of old age or natural problems. GLaDOS was talking about reanimating the dead, meaning if she wanted, she could bring back Chell?
Most likely, she must see Chell as a worthy adversary, being (I assume) the only one to get to GLaDOS's chamber and kill her.
Pastlife17 its also just like the story "i have no mouth and i want to scream" where an evil computer keeps human beings alive to torture over and over again. Reanimate the dead to continue the torture over again.
+Pastlife17 Not so much a worthy adversary, as the fact that she really despises Chell and uses this as a way to torture her.
Am I the only one to find GLaDOS's voice quite sexy?
Probably not.
It's an old woman voicing her dude.
Kinda the same. Just the way the modify Ellen McLain's voice.
I would love to have my personal AI voice as her, lol
Nope
"Ok, DON'T panic! Stop panicking!"
*makes a whole bunch of really panicked faces and moves frantically*
I love Wheatley lmfao
3:36 I have watched this so many times and only now realised that they made the pod turn and block the exit with the pod hatch, making it so you would not be able to leave the pod when it starts moving. Nice move valve.
There was so much suspension with glados, then whealty starts his funny/stupid text when you have to jump so you relax, you think it is over and you got out
and 2 min later you realize how wrong you were
great
When I played this part for the first time, I tried (and failed) to hide behind Wheatley. My stomach still twists when she crushes him. #wheatleysympathizer
So does his.
Valve has always been ahead of their time. I remember playing this and straight up goosebumps
A twin.
Birb
i was pretty freaked out when she started to get up when i played this
13 years later and still a master piece
Seeing Glados waking up again is giving me the chills
Wheatley is relatable. XD
Yes Seer of Light He is
The Announcer's voice has improved since the 2010 trailer. Now he's saying POWER-UP COMPLETE like 'You really failed and have nothing to do about it, congratulations'
Me accidentally turning my pc on at 2 am when my parents are asleep.
Okay, look. We both said a lot of things you're going to regret.
For science... you MONSTER..
GlaDOS waking upis like me waking up on Monday's
*Looks at alarm clock*
Oh. It's you
It's been a long time
Same
Yep
I like that circular robot thing that sits in front of you the whole time ...
(Yes I'm new to this game. Don't judge. Lmao.)
The one with the blue eye? Yea that's wheatly.
Connor McLachlan xD Nice. Haha. That name suits him. Lel.
Regina Seal I don't know much about it ... But ... I guess it looks sorta interesting. :P
Regina Seal Not really interested in buying it, but thanks!
I'm so sorry of your attachment
This scene was a better reveal than most horror bosses especially the fact I beat the original game first, so I relived meeting her AGAIN after killing her myself.
Portal 2 is undeniably one of the greatest video games of all time. The game offers so much: story, characters, voice acting, humor, graphics, atmosphere, and gameplay (there’s literally not a single video game I can think of with a better and more linear learning curve and pacing). MASTERPIECE!!!
it's been a long time...
How have you been?
I've been reeealy busy being dead. You know, after you MURDERED ME?
Sofía Paredes Okay, look! We both said a lot of thing that you are going to regret.
Sofía Paredes YOU DID WHAT?!
You monster
3:58 This is one of the few moments in all of my gaming experiences that has absolutely terrified me. The suspense was ducking insane.
Searching for "a" for "escape pod" *face-palm*
He meant the words escape pod
SL1NGSHOT222999 i know... that was what i said, the funny thing was, he searched
"a" trying to find "the escape pod".
at 7:40 it's test chamber 19 from portal 1 backwards
Mind blown.
ikr
U GET THE PORTAL GUN IN THE FIRE PIT
Yeah, I noticed it quite easily since I just finished Portal 1 directly before playing Portal 2. It was pretty incredible.
Bro it was so traumatic seeing the digital demon awaken
I've played portal(1), and when wheatly waked she up, i said: DAMN YOU! SHE WILL KILL US!!!!! Also, i very liked as she said:"You mist really, really love to test". That voice...
The funny part is when they are going up the thing all of the switches turn on xD
I played the game on spanish back then. English voice of GLaDOS sounds so sexy and menacing. It makes sense that she's so pissed off after what happened to her in portal 1.
GLaDOS really is one of the best villain in gaming history.
when i got to this part in portal 2 i fr went "oh shit"
I was trembling when my 8 yr old cousin showed me that im only 2 years older than him but i still overreact to things like when he showed me the cube. I love the cube. The cube is my leader.
I think I'm in love with her.
0:03 when you get your games taken away from your mom and you have your brother help you
If GLaDOS was so nice, Iwould like her to be my friend,so she could help me with my math homework!! : D
this is funny thing :D
Turn her into a potato and boom lol
poor Wheatley, he sounded absolutely terrified
Elf Productions IKR
Remember getting goosebumps during her reactivation
"We both said a lot things, that you are going to regret" :D
I HATED stepping over gladOS I don't know why but she creeps me out
+Richard Simkin ikr
*Steps on glados neck*
*INTESIEFE NERVOUSE BREATHING*
7:27
The way she says "revenge", lmao.
Is it me or is it funny how after witnessing Glados’s corpse in an eerie manner with the music and atmosphere, we follow up with more of Wheatley being stupid? I find it a funny tone shift
Don't forget that this same AI got stuffed into a potato
ahaha " Ok DONT PANIC, STOP PANICKIN !!! " love it XD
omg glados and wheatley voices are amazing
6:18 *Why didn't you save thet Turrent!? :(*
turret* my god man you have spell check and everything.
MrBdr27 I know for some reason it didn't hi-light it. :P
8
If chell just cut the wire connecting the body to the head, the whole portal 2 story wouldn’t happen lol😂
that wire thick as hell and she has nothing sharp on her tf you mean
Glados, has a calm voice....
This game can only be described as a masterpiece
3:52 “this shits slowing down” I can’t unhear it now xD
I thought Glados was the eyeball thing XD she's the big white robot
Thats funny at the end of the video the elevator was going way slower than all the other ones in the game
i can't stop reminding me that moment when we meet glados again. I whisper "oh, it's you..." giggling alone
There are 6 letters in the password so I'm going to take a wild guess here and say it's GLADOS. Or maybe PORTAL.
MetroidJunkie NOCAKE
MetroidJunkie Its ABCDGH
A Genius idea.
It was ABCDEFG
MetroidJunkie
OMG WHAT IF ITS RATMAN????
Portal 2 actually made me say ''This is the most epic scene in a videogame... EVER'' 3 times. First one was GLaDOS waking up. Then there was the core transfer scene. And finally the ending. Wow.
I remember getting this game when my elementary school had this thing where you put what you wanted for Christmas on a sheet of paper and the school would give it to you. I asked for this game and never finished it. All I can say was that this scene scared the hell out of me.
That school sounds really fucking cool
How do I go back to kindergarden and then go to that school?
The game of 10 million loading screens
Wheatley: she was beaten by a human, crazy right?
Me: *whistles innocently*
