Riley, my daughters are 26 and 23 and I am still "growing" as a parent. I think you'll find that as a parent, the "knowledge" that we have learned in our lives and pass on to our children can, in some instances, be irrelevant and dated, but "wisdom" can transcend generations. Knowing and learning the difference is part of being a teaching parent. Cherish every moment, before you can turn around, they will be adults.
Can I just add that out of ALL the channels I sub to, La Vagabonde is the ONLY one that I habitually HIT THAT LIKE and RING THAT BELL!! You two(three) are fan-TASTIC! Thank you for being you and sharing your days with us arm-chair sailors!!!
Riley, we could debate Harari's advice to a 15 year old for weeks. That little snippet got my mind turning for sure. The cliff notes of parenting. It's all about love, respect, values, right from wrong, guidance, responsibility, expectations and understanding. You are their teacher and role model something you can never forget. Kids are sponges and will follow your lead. Accept, understand and admit you will make mistakes. If you do those things your kids will turn out ok. Oh and by the way. Hug, kiss and tell them you love them every chance you get. They grow up quick.
I'm a 68 year old man in America. That means how fast knowledge expands has been amazing in just my life time. It is hard to believe what the future might hold in just that area. I have been an active reader all my life. I hope that has allowed me to keep my mind active and open. Sometime the glut of info and different slants can drive me bonkers but I can keep reading and learning. Good luck my friends.
I’m 14 year old girl I discovered your channel about 3 days ago and have been non stop watching your vids they are amazing and it really helps you see the beautiful side of our earth we take advantage lovely home and congrats on your baby
Thanks for showing us your home guys. Elayna and Riley the only advice I would give as a parent is relax, you are both intelligent caring, loving and giving people. You are both very switched on and I have no dought that you will make awesome parents and Lenny is going to be in great hands. Take pics for yourselves, I mean, when my wife and I look back sometimes there are times when we wish we had taken a photo or two. But then again camera phones were not around either. :)
I hasten to agree. By the time the child is ready for school, about a century from now, you will have over thought this to death, I'm envious of the education this child will have by the time he is five. (I think it's a boy)? Fair winds, strong wifi, fat fishes!
Riley, I am a teacher at Troy School District in Troy, MI. What we have learned, exactly as the book said is that the world we are preparing children for right now is not the world we will be delivering them to in 13 years. So, we have to prepare them to be flexible, critical problem solvers. The way you and Elena live embodies that spirit. I would be happy to share educational information with you. I would highly recommend looking into Harvard's Project Zero with Ron Richards and Cultures of Thinking. Thinking deeply about the world around you and helping Lennon experience it with you is going to give him an excellent repertoire of eyewitness knowledge to which he will become a critical problem solver. Also, read to him everyday!! You and Elena are natural teachers---so many of us have learned so much through your videos. You've got this!
Having raised one boy, watched him turn into a fine man and a father in his own right, and observing the lessons he provides my grandsons, the only thing I would mention to you is that since you won't know what will be important in the future, you will of necessity need to teach what is important now. Teach that as well as you can. Above all, teach the child how to think. Then the changes in the future will be challenges rather than obstacles. Best of luck. That kid is lucky to have such remarkable parents.
I have 4 children in public schools, but have multiple friends that homeschool their kids and they are doing very well. You both will do great homeschooling your child. The most important thing either way is that the parents are actively involved. You got this.
The secret isn't teaching your kids what to think but how to think... that is timeless. The beauty of dedicated homeschooling is you are the adult teaching your kid, not some stranger adult teaching your kid. School has become a babysitting service for working parents and as always the real leaning is done at home.
I think your choice to fully utilize the travel experiences, to educate your child, is commendable. Your child will experience things few others do. I too believe home schooling is your best option.
Riley: Your ability to be nimble to teaching relevant information is WAAAAY better than education institutions could ever dream of achieving. Besides, while technology may change, the human condition doesn't, and that's 99% of what you need to teach your kids. Get that right, and they'll figure the rest out.
Loved seeing the boat. Riley, your question about how to teach your new son... I grew up at the beginning of the tech boom and changes were happening fairly quickly and as you mentioned, the future will be changing more rapidly. You can't teach the future, but you can teach how to react to change and predict change. Sailing is a great tool for that and can be assimilated into any area of our lives. You spend a lot of time looking at weather events on your boat. You change sails and configurations based on winds. You are constantly analyzing and making changes based on your analysis and critical thinking. the fact is, you and Elayna got this! You are two smart people with a ton of knowledge to offer your son. You can't teach what you don't know, teach the now and flexibility. Cheers to you!
I WANTED to watch twice! More than likely I had to because of ALL the desirable information I've wanted to know about the ship's structures and functions. A very professional job! I was homeschooled for 4 years because after my family moved country the school system i was moved into was way behind and wanted me to basically start elementary school again, I do think it was the best thing that ever happened to me but what I think is important was that I also had times where i went to school and times when as a kid i was working... the combined experience of the 3 i think is what has made me who I am and able to do anything that I choose... I will say it is important to become a good teacher, and that is a rare skill that most employees of school systems lack.
My wife and I have raise 4 children and in thinking about that caption you played from audible and your concern of teaching your child I would have to say that your actions rather then words will be most important. He will be watching you. How you treat his mother, how you act and deal with things. Your everyday teachings. Your philosophy will be ingrained in him. You will be a pro Riley. I am sure of that. Children and the miracle of child birth are phenomenal. It’s good you have two spare cabins. Merry Christmas and may the blessings of the year to come shine on you.
You’re probably not going to reply to this but you two have got me through some very tough times. I appreciate both of you doing what you do. Congrats on the baby, you have lived amazing lives already yet with this new arrival you have a million more memory’s to come. Thank you, Ollie from England.

We lived on our Saber 34 sailboat for a year with a 2nd grader and a 4th grader homeschooling both. My husband is a Chemistry teacher and I'm a music teacher 9instrumental & vocal & general). We sailed from Cape Cod to Bahamas and back and used a wonderful home schooling company in Baltimore MD. We sent them $$ and they sent us everything in a box for each child. Plus we did tons of field trips, biology lessons. cooking and baking, etc. They were both avid readers also. Their homeschool stuff had a teacher book with all the lessons all written out. We paid extra to send the kid's tests off to a teacher on land and got their grades and comments at out mail drops. Both kids were way ahead of everybody in their classes when we returned. My daughter could write lovely cursive. Plus they were great sailers and swimmers. You are correct, the Bahamas are gorgeous !!!!!!!
another awesome vid. as for home schooling. i would normally be against it but in your case i think your child would be a much smarter more rounded and grounded itelligent kid with you two teaching him the ways of the world rather than classroom based learning. best of luck x
You guys will do well raising your baby you've both got good heads on your shoulders. The only thing I will say having raised 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 girl is you can't ever go wrong teaching, sharing and giving love. Love your child.
I don't think you need to worry too much about relevance of home schooling. You both have so much real world experience to give and the abilities to give it. As Lenny grows up, maybe look into a good, internationally recognised home schooling academy to provide the curriculum, study materials and exams he will need to keep instep with his peers. Quite often, many home schooled children manage to move well ahead of their school based peers as they are able to work at a pace comfortable for them - and are not being held up by slower class mates. Lenny is sure going to have an amazing outlook on the world as he grows ...and not just from seeing it on Discovery channel.
I've watched every episode on a daily basis I think of how smart you have to be to live your life as you two do I have two children and I think you guys are as fit as they get and have your with you will make great parents
Regarding schooling for Lenny; homeschooling is wonderful for “head-knowledge” but will always be inferior to classroom learning for developing people skills. I experienced homeschooling, boarding school, public and private schools growing up; all of which have their pros and cons. Perhaps if Lenny attended a set school for a year here and there this would assist his relational development. Having sustained relationships is extremely important to a growing child. It is up to you to decide wether having him be open to transitory relationships as opposed to long term outweighs the experience of settled friendships which could lead to feelings of abandonment when he has to leave the institution. There is no right answer, the more he is exposed to, the more well-rounded of an individual he will grow up to be. Love you guys!
Only time I have ever been inclined to watch an add at the end of any video because of how upbeat and wholehearted the two of you are. Keep up the amazing work!
What type of boat is this? I want to see one out of the water so I can understand where all the room for the interior is. Also how much did the boat cost you?
I'm going to suggest this channel to my mum i think, when she was as young as you guys, she lived off a boat for a few years at times sailing up and down the coasts of Australia. I this channel would be a great thing for her as she always talks about her sailing days and how much she misses it being out at sea and she should be able to relate to a lot of it. great video though!
Basic Math skills and basic Science skills are never going to be outdated. It has been the backbone of my education, I am now studying to be a Chemical Engineer. Which has been one of the most mind opening experiences, due to the understanding that i now have of the natural world. The science behind small things that go overlooked/thought about incorrectly. It may be a difficult track in life, but it will never be phased out.
As someone who knows next to nothing about sailing, I have become addicted to watching your channel and love the lifestyle that you two are living. I personally am going to be doing something very similar, yet via van and on land. I wish you guys safe travels and please continue to keep up the good videos and live your life!
I envy your busy and righteous way of living, exploring the world, and wholeheartedly putting yourselves in tough situations. That’s what life’s all about. Cheers for the quality entertainment and motivation to go after our dreams. Keep calm and sail on
Home schooling is great, the main thing to keep in mind is find a program you agree with, the program as in most of them will give you helps to teach your child the basics as well as the advanced things.
Listening to Audible books reminds me of my early days sitting around the family radio listening to Audible Stories since we did not own a TV yet. And only being 65 years old many find that hard to believe... but it is true, and our first TV was Black and White. My Grand Parents, which means my mother and aunt, lived in logging camps. No electricity. Their house was a Rail Road Car that would be placed on the tracks when it was time to move. So my Mother went from Wood Stoves and candles to a home with a Heat Pump WITH AC, digital camera's, and the internet... can't imagine what is ahead for US and now your little one to be.... Enjoy the ride, keep journals, reading some of the old family journals helps put you there.... I suppose the video is a type of journal isn't it. Just not as personal.
Another good one guys. In my experience, with my 9month old offspring is that babies need love, and not ‘things’ keep toys/junk to a minimum don’t skimp on any essentials and make do with what you have got at the time. Love the channel, wishing you guys all the best for the coming months! You’ll love it more and more!
@Sailing La Vagabonde Hello Elayna and Riley, don't worry about home schooling: I'm graduating in psychology at the best university of Italy and I did almost everything at home. I know Neuroscientists and great professors who did home schooling all their lives. It's not about who is teaching, but your curiousity as a human being.
I just love your Southern accents...lol..I have to listen carefully to understand you. You have such a happy, joyful life..and true "family" life and work, joy, fun, love, sun and all good things. I have a son, who dreams of living on the water like you two do. He just finished remodeling his newest sailboat and can't wait to retire so he and his wife, Traci, can sail, and sail, and sail. It is his dream..I'm going to tell him about your show..but I'll bet he has seen it. His heart is on the water. Enjoy your shows so thanks for sharing with us. A Texasn who can understand your southern accents..really, I can. Honest.
Josh and Babe Here’s what I know, yea they edit their own videos. When they go ashore then they use people’s wifi and that’s why videos are usually fairly old (from the week before) when they post them
This video for example is probably two months old because Elayna is still on board and I would say 22 weeks pregnant. She has given birth now and is already flying back.
Thanks you wonderful people. Your baby will make you understand the meaning of joy. As far as the education. We taught our daughter some things. The most important was showing her love.
Hi Elayna & Riley. I have no doubt that if you teach your children everything you both know, they will have a solid foundation to build their lives from. No school can offer the education of being with your both sailing the world. Your home is perfect!! Thanks for the video.

What a lovley boat, i think i watched at least 50 videos of you two in the last 5 days. You are living a dream and i hope it will never end. I used to be on a motor glider every weekend with my family cruisin up an down the baltic sea around denmark, i love staying on the water. Recently i had exactly the same thoughts riley has about, what you should teach your children to become a good human, prepaired for all important things in life. My conclusion to this question is that it will be most important thing to give your child is love. From the standpoint of information you can give to your child, you two seem to have a lot of skills you should definitly pass on to the kid, a lot of information is based in timeless skills everyone should know, don´t get cought up with all the fancy stuff people say you will need in the future. To have a really good basis and a free mind is most important, a person wich knowes were things are comming from and why things become what they are now will be able to adapt quickly to learn new stuff. keep it the way you know it worked for yourself. To crow up as a child in the enviroment you two live in will be very valuable. I would combine home schooling with somekind of online school. I wish you a merry christmas, Stuart from Germany.
To me it’s about sharing experiences and teaching values. These things are timeless and will always be relevant to your children now and forever. From watching your channel I can tell both of you as parents have plenty to share including an abundance of love to help your child grow and get the most out of the short lives we get to enjoy (DC)
The best years of life now is between 30 and 40 (my opinion). The hapyness around the two of you is palpable. You are a delightful RDV every week. Happy holidays and congratulations mom and dad. Marc from Montreal.
Can’t wait to see the renewable energy video! Also would love to see an in depth video or series of Riley going over all the different systems on La Vaga. It is amazing to see how much has changed over the past years and how much you have both learned and been able to share that knowledge with so many people worldwide. You have without a doubt inspired so many including my husband and I to make changes in their lives. Can’t wait to see little Lenny on board. 💜
You guys are going to be great parents don't put all that thought on your shoulders just be yourselves. Look at the two of you your doing great . I'm sure your child will be great also .❤️
Thank you for the tour and your lovely faces! As a teacher who tries to stay current with education research and ideas, the most important thing is to encourage creativity. Your unique lifestyle will naturally do this for Lenny. Not to worry. Make sure he reads a lot to expand his mind and vocabulary. And give him your recyclable materials and a challenge to build something-a robot, a bridge, a new fishing lure. Allow him to explore. You will make great parents I’m sure.
What a delightful channel. Riley is a good bloke and Elayna is adorable! As for the homeschooling, I feel that what your child might miss out is how to socially interact with other kids. Those animals that live in social hierarchies like ours, have large brains. In part, this is due to the incredibly complex social interactions dealing with others entails. While the two of you seem very social skilled, which is a mitigating factor, sometimes it takes a village to raise a child. My question is whether or not your child can learn important social skills through interaction with other children that you may not be able to match. Which ever path you choose, providing a loving and dependable environment for your child will provide strong foundation that many kids lack.
Just discovered you and Riley about a week ago on my recommend to watch. Since then I started at the beginning and have binge watched every episode all the way to this one. Looks like I started just in time, congratulations on the baby excited to see your lives continue on La Vagabonde with Lenny.

9:02 - Love the belly sticking out, Elayna!!! Can't wait until the kid starts filling the boat up with toys! (Riley already has enough of his on board). ;-)
I know of some people who are sailing around the world too, and what they are doing is offering a teacher a free trip with them in exchange for home schooling- so the kid still gets taught by a qualified teacher- I think that’s such a good idea- as a future teacher myself I know I would jump at the opportunity
YES on homeschooling. You won't convince me that any regular school can pass on lessons better than you guys. Besides, aside from the basic reading, writing, arithmatic, you will be able to teach baby HOW to think. Not what to think. This is something schools just don't do. Teaching them how to think will prepare them to deal with the future and obviously you guys can instill some generational wisdom that can be a basis for them. Some great close up camera work in this ep. Elayna is glowing and gorgeous, as usual and Riley you crack me up. Cheers.
Sorry, Naomi is an excellent and compelling story teller who sees the world through a deeply colored and partisan lens with a lot of distortion. She believes that the world would be improved if corporations were replaced, not with individual human agency, but with a single megacorporation of government. That concentration of power is somehow believed to be in our best interests, maybe because she thinks evil is a product of competition. Nothing could be further from the truth.
congrats on the bub. We had our children on board and it is a great way to go. I made a, one off harness and netted the lifelines for security. Our eldest loved to sit between the mast and the tender on passage. He would sit happy as just peering over the tenders transom. He tended to climb before he could walk in our experience, so we bought a jolly jumper and hung it from the boom at anchor. That will hold em i would say! Your going to have a blast. PS Good call on the book I just finished sapiens. Aloha
Riley, regarding cockpit orientation to the wind, you could fix up a secondary bridle to your aft cleats and spin the whole arrangement 180 degrees. It works better from a mooring ball than anchor but can be done either way.

They have a TH-cam channel i think they will have plenty of pictures. Just saying.
They each have Instagram accounts under their own names.
I love how this channel has grown so much and rightfully so! Here's to 1mil! And Merry Christmas
Both you guys are so incredibly bright and loving, just love that baby and it will all take care of itself. God bless.
It seems you have become proficient at videography. Big things are in store for you both! I hope you can handle them like you do your boat, keep up the good work!
What I really liked about the video is the expression "our home." It makes me so happy over these past five years to know that you guys are home.
Nice video guys (what a surprise ... duh ;-) I like your style of narration and story-telling. Always refreshing and fun to watch. Can't wait to see the first video with Lenny on the boat. :-)
Take care, merry christmas and a happy new year. Einen guten Rutsch, like we say in Germany. :-)
I home school my four children I absolutely loved the curriculums that I had the freedom to choose and the freedom to choose a path for them that wasnt built on everyone elses opinions..but to give th3m life skills that no-one else can like their lo ing parents..and yall can clearly offer that to your little one..I know my children are successful..and well rounded humans and are a productive part of scociety.. but I wanted them to carry with them amazing experiences given to them in Love.. Prayers and hugs to y'all and all good wishes.. ❤
Thanks for showing us your lives! I understand to a small degree, what it can be like having others share with you. It can be rewarding as well as exhausting. So thank you again for letting us share your experiences, and for all the hard work it takes to get us there.
Their is nothing like the lapping of the waves, the sound of the sea,the phosphorescence of waves at night.just to be free, like in Byron's poem.he said they could ruin the land but not the seas, but now they are destroying even the sea.the Pacific is dieing from Fukushima the worst man made catastrophe known to history.wishing you both all the best for a lovely Christmas and New year.sail on free in the wind and the waves.its a great feeling of freedom. God bless you and keep you.
I watched this to understand the layout of the boat more bc in every video im so confused about it... Im still confused 😂
I am 60 and have 4 adult children. Don't worry about too much, except being happy with yourselves and your new one. I love you both and wish you a happy Christmas.
Elayna, you can get a little heatproof thermometer that hooks onto the oven shelf to give very accurate oven temperatures - available in Celsius or Fahrenheit... Cheers, I enjoyed this episode..Thanks
I will say it is important to become a good teacher, and that is a rare skill that most employees of school systems lack.
can u order from amazon, or do you have to have a po box u go to.. are you close to land?how often do u go to the store
What we all learn when ready, is , " it , takes a village !" Hanging with adventures people brings the family deep ancestral memory. And then we continue to learn the medicine we need. Just to let you know I concur with you on what these people are doing for the mental health of so many in the different lands.
I've had the same experience. These guys have been a ray of sunshine in some very dark places.
@@anguspure They make ya feel like ya have some lovely friends, in a world where if you're not on top of everything , nobody needs to know you; when someone wants to know you it's just to take advantage or they don't need to talk to you.
Yay! More sponsored videos! You guys are killing it, congrats!
Posted on facebook 52 minutes ago and already 86 comments. You two must be famous or something. Merry Christmas to the Whitelum-Carausu-Lennon clan.
I've watched every episode on a daily basis I think of how smart you have to be to live your life as you two do I have two children and I think you guys are as fit as they get and have your with you will make great parents
How great is it to have those fans? I can't imagine sleeping without fans.
Really love it! Would love to visit one day. Amazing inspiration you guys
Only time I have ever been inclined to watch an add at the end of any video because of how upbeat and wholehearted the two of you are. Keep up the amazing work!
What type of boat is this?
I want to see one out of the water so I can understand where all the room for the interior is.
Also how much did the boat cost you?
Following this
I'm going to suggest this channel to my mum i think, when she was as young as you guys, she lived off a boat for a few years at times sailing up and down the coasts of Australia. I this channel would be a great thing for her as she always talks about her sailing days and how much she misses it being out at sea and she should be able to relate to a lot of it. great video though!
I had a good laugh when Riley was talking about the nav station.
LOVE IT. You guys are my heros
Same
As someone who knows next to nothing about sailing, I have become addicted to watching your channel and love the lifestyle that you two are living.
I personally am going to be doing something very similar, yet via van and on land.
I wish you guys safe travels and please continue to keep up the good videos and live your life!
6:40 it says "Click Analyze to begin", I guess you didn't analyze the warp stabilizer.
I envy your busy and righteous way of living, exploring the world, and wholeheartedly putting yourselves in tough situations. That’s what life’s all about. Cheers for the quality entertainment and motivation to go after our dreams. Keep calm and sail on
I absolutely love your channel. I’m 14 and dream to one day have a sailboat of my own. Keep it up!
Home schooling is great, the main thing to keep in mind is find a program you agree with, the program as in most of them will give you helps to teach your child the basics as well as the advanced things.
The water tho😫 i would do anything to jump right in
Listening to Audible books reminds me of my early days sitting around the family radio listening to Audible Stories since we did not own a TV yet.
I didn’t realized that it’s so spacious. Awesome tour. One of the best past is @ 14:35
Ps. Awesome family❤️
@Sailing La Vagabonde
Hello Elayna and Riley, don't worry about home schooling: I'm graduating in psychology at the best university of Italy and I did almost everything at home.
Honest.
Very interesting. Do you do your own video editing, and how do you get a cell / internet connection? Love all your videos. Thanks guys.
As a man who's been married for 10 years, I felt every bit of Reilly's pain in doing this video...LOL
Luv you guys, don't kill me Elayna! :)
Hi Elayna & Riley. I have no doubt that if you teach your children everything you both know, they will have a solid foundation to build their lives from. No school can offer the education of being with your both sailing the world. Your home is perfect!! Thanks for the video.
Surely I'm not the first person to realize that Riley sounds exactly like Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Planning the day while sitting on the toilet. LMAO SO relatable, and story of my life. You're BOTH so genuine and thoughtful and SMART. In a world filled with the opposite it's SO NICE to find and follow you. WISHING you ALL the SUCCESS and HAPPINESS the world can give you. YOU MAKE ME SMILE (even though you're encouraging me to read)
Hey legends, 6:40 ahhh click analyze to begin! Somebody forgot to render warp stab? Haha
Great video peeps, looking forward to seeing the new stuff with the little nippa
Harrison Edwards yea, warp stabiliser for sure. Pretty weird it rendered the actual analyse message though.
saw that too.
Wow...550k subs. I was watching when 100k was a goal where Riley would JUMP from the mast.
which never happened..
Sebastian Ynaraja he did
To me it’s about sharing experiences and teaching values. These things are timeless and will always be relevant to your children now and forever. From watching your channel I can tell both of you as parents have plenty to share including an abundance of love to help your child grow and get the most out of the short lives we get to enjoy (DC)
Gorgeous boat, gorgeous girl! What more could you ask for? Cheers to you mate!
The best years of life now is between 30 and 40 (my opinion). The hapyness around the two of you is palpable. You are a delightful RDV every week. Happy holidays and congratulations mom and dad. Marc from Montreal.
This is the perfect life no cap 💯
Can’t wait to see the renewable energy video! Also would love to see an in depth video or series of Riley going over all the different systems on La Vaga. It is amazing to see how much has changed over the past years and how much you have both learned and been able to share that knowledge with so many people worldwide. You have without a doubt inspired so many including my husband and I to make changes in their lives. Can’t wait to see little Lenny on board. 💜
Omg top twenty ily guys so much xx 😘
You guys are going to be great parents don't put all that thought on your shoulders just be yourselves. Look at the two of you your doing great . I'm sure your child will be great also .❤️
How did y'all post this ? Where is the signal coming from ?
Thank you for the tour and your lovely faces! As a teacher who tries to stay current with education research and ideas, the most important thing is to encourage creativity. Your unique lifestyle will naturally do this for Lenny. Not to worry. Make sure he reads a lot to expand his mind and vocabulary. And give him your recyclable materials and a challenge to build something-a robot, a bridge, a new fishing lure. Allow him to explore. You will make great parents I’m sure.
Do you guys think you can do an updated one now that u have a new baby:)
6:40 waiting for Premiere's warp stabilizer. ;D
Just discovered you and Riley about a week ago on my recommend to watch. Since then I started at the beginning and have binge watched every episode all the way to this one. Looks like I started just in time, congratulations on the baby excited to see your lives continue on La Vagabonde with Lenny.
Love your videos!
6:40 seconds you forgot to finish stabilizing ;)
Wisdom comes with age. Those who have gone before us know from experience.
And want you to know we homeschooled 4 of our children and they are outstanding both in college and talking to others. I highly recommend this. Keep the videos coming your the best.
New subscriber how many does it live on the boat comfortably?
YES on homeschooling. You won't convince me that any regular school can pass on lessons better than you guys. Besides, aside from the basic reading, writing, arithmatic, you will be able to teach baby HOW to think. Not what to think. This is something schools just don't do. Teaching them how to think will prepare them to deal with the future and obviously you guys can instill some generational wisdom that can be a basis for them. Some great close up camera work in this ep. Elayna is glowing and gorgeous, as usual and Riley you crack me up. Cheers.
respect for the naomi klein title in the background!
Aloha
1:28 I’m wearing headphones and that scared me soooo bad😂🤪
Riley, regarding cockpit orientation to the wind, you could fix up a secondary bridle to your aft cleats and spin the whole arrangement 180 degrees. It works better from a mooring ball than anchor but can be done either way.
Teach your child reading, writing, electronics, work ethics, and how to fish and sail and they will be fine.
And programming and software development and robotics! :)
They need math though. As much as I despised it, it’s useful for so many things from construction, trajectory, time estimation, etc.
they also need friends
@@jakemercier2436 Yeah friends and neighbors right? Must be weird growing up on an always moving boat.
I'm wondering if in like 6 or 10 years we'll have virtual reality schools for better "internet friends".

I’ve been subbed to the channel for a few years and you guys just keep getting better looking. You’re like the Tom Cruise of the seas
