anytime you get water on electronics if you instantly turn it off and dont turn it back on untill its 100% dry it will be fine every single time. keep in mind it can take up to a week for the insides to fully dry out. and you cant always get it turned off in time. but water on electronics that are turned off is fine. people always turn it back on too quickly is the problem. rice in a sealed container with the object speeds up the drying of the inside greatly.
How brave you were Elayna to keep your composure and still be able to film and even have a laugh over this until you get the doctors ok! Riley you are gonna be an awesome dad man. So lucky this little human to come on earth between you two. Hope all health and joy for 2019!

Happy New Year 2019 to you Two + soon to be Third member. Tip for commonly over looked leak.... Inspect all inflation valves by removing the caps and ensuring that the rubber diaphragms are correctly seated and there is no obvious sign of air leakage through the valves, replace the caps tightly. Even correctly seated valve diaphragms often leak minor amounts of air, the valve cap is designed to be used as a secondary seal and should always be in place for optimum valve performance.

Riley, you have to over-pressurize that pontoon in order to find such a small leak. It'll make the air come out in a steady stream instead of one bubble per hour. Good luck.

Nice episode guys! Knowing that the baby is born and healthy lessened any worry of the belly pain Elayna felt. And Riley, you could take the motor off the tender (and everything out of it) and flip it upside down. If the leak is on the top side you should see the bubbles when it's flipped. With some help you could also suspend the tender by its side (from the side of LaVaga). That would allow you to fully immerse the side panels in water and look for bubbles. The toughest place to check are the inside panels - unless you could immerse the whole tender under water. It could be done with enough weight but probably not a one man job. Otherwise, good luck and Happy New Year!
Ligament pain is common if you are active... wife rides horses heavily and she rode through pregnancy of both kids... had pains too but all was well... best of luck in 2019 to you both and baby!

Buy the non-pore clogging sunscreen. Little more expensive but I do not break-out any more since discovering. Best to protect your skin from the sun. There are high tech fabrics (the new dry-shirts ) that are cooling, wicking and quick-dry that offer protection. Happy Mom and baby are okay. Happy New Year.

Been keeping up with you two for about a month now. Haven't seen all your episodes, but caught up with you when you came over to the Caribbean this year. I was instantly interested in your channel as I spent a year living down in St. Maarten/St. Martin. I did a lot of sailing while I was down there. And as someone that didn't grow up on the water, it was a fun time in my life. You've been here in the Nassau area for the last couple of weeks and just watched this episode 175... fun to watch as my wife, four kids, and I live here in Nassau. The rice works initially, but doesn't remove more hidden water droplets. The humidity can cause corrosion on the circuit-board, resulting in failure months later. Submerging the circuit-board in alcohol cleans away most water. The remaining alcohol evaporates a lot faster, resulting in less risk of corroded contacts. PS: _The lemon water will only make it worse..._
I had a new shirt do that to my back. There is Sizing in new clothing and the combination of sun block and the shirt gave me an erupted back. There was also a bumpy skin reaction to some brands of sunscreen and now I use “sensitive” skin sunblock which helps.
Hope you don't need it, but laptops with water damage are very fixable. Rossmann Group out of NYC has tons of videos showing the process. Not necessarily DIY, but it sure beats buying new!
It's a bit late for this bit of advice but in the future, should you spill liquid on a laptop. Power it down, pull out the battery, then remove the case and dry it with a hair dryer and soft towel. If you are feeling technically inclined, pull the hard drive and memory and dry them. The keyboard can also be dried out by removing the cover and exposing the rubber membrane and patting it down with a towel. As long as the water does not actually get to the electronics underneath the membrane or get in through the ventilation ports you should be ok.

I know these videos are posted months later after they've been recorded but to find leaks make a very soapy water/soap solution, pump the boat up hard then spray the soapy water mix to find the bubbles.
Memories- My wife was pregnant with our first, about 7 months along, fell on her belly while hitting tennis balls. Everything turned out O.K., but at some point your CG gets way out of whack, and your guts get displaced upward by your growing "tumor" and your activities and eating will be compromised. But it will be worth it! Nothing better.
Best thing to do with a water logged laptop is to take it apart and put the parts in front of a fan to dry them out. Pay close attention to connectors, may sure there no power is applied anywhere until you are certain its dried out. Ususally what happens is you power it up too soon and water shorts something. Packing it in rice is not necessary because you can open it up easily.
I'm from Niue, and its located closer to Tonga but near Fiji. if you ever get the chance to see it it is the most incredible place. the population is around 1 500 people. it is absolutely mind blowing and nothing like you've ever seen before. it is one of the only untouched nations in the world. it takes upto 3 hours to drive around the whole island. Please if you have the chance look it up because it wont disappoint. im not sure if there is anyway of parking your boat but it should be fine on the main wharf. NIUE its place youd fall in love with the people and culture. the best time to get the full experience is at the end of October!! amazing channel

Best thing to do with a water logged laptop is to take it apart and put the parts in front of a fan to dry them out. Pay close attention to connectors, may sure there no power is applied anywhere until you are certain its dried out. Ususally what happens is you power it up too soon and water shorts something. Packing it in rice is not necessary because you can open it up easily.

I'm from Niue, and its located closer to Tonga but near Fiji. if you ever get the chance to see it it is the most incredible place. the population is around 1 500 people. it is absolutely mind blowing and nothing like you've ever seen before. it is one of the only untouched nations in the world. it takes upto 3 hours to drive around the whole island. Please if you have the chance look it up because it wont disappoint. im not sure if there is anyway of parking your boat but it should be fine on the main wharf. NIUE its place youd fall in love with the people and culture. the best time to get the full experience is at the end of October!! amazing channel
