Caught mine singing and dancing with the dog. 3) I work in an ER, 24 hr shifts, and my schedule has Zero pattern to it. I used to hang my schedules on the refrigerator. When i suspected him and stopped sharing my work dates he went Berserk!! He was constantly asking me "when are you working again?" Like a toddler. They cannot Stand not knowing where we are.

You hit it right on the head. My ex wife claimed that she would never cheat because her mom cheated on her dad. In fact, she was never loyal. Cheating with multiple men the entire time we were together.

You're absolutely right. I confronted my ex-girlfriend with evidence; a screenshot of her conversation with another man talking about one of their sexual encounters. She also had saved his dick pics and selfies he'd sent, and she'd been taking nudes and sending them to him. At first, she said that they had slept together before we were together. (Which would have been 13 years prior, so no I didn't buy that one). Later she said that guy told her his account had been hacked, and she accused _me_ of hacking his account and seducing her in order to trap her. (I never even knew about this guy until I saw her messages on her phone). This is hands down the craziest lie/denial I've ever witnessed. She never admitted that she cheated, never apologized, and says she _left me_ because I was the cheater.
The phone is an inanimate object. If a relationship ends because of a phone, they could be a narcissist. Everyone deserves a real relationship where transparency is there.. so odd when people are hyper sensitive over a phone

My ex wife of 31 years was guilty of every single one of these. I didn’t realize that she was a narcissist until three years after our divorce…she was that damn good because I believed the problem was me until that time.
I caught mine a week after she filed. She knew she messed up and left a record of her activities. Funny thing is, divorce law is in her favor. This was her only option. God help us all, or repeal the 19th.
@@PBVader Agreed, divorce laws need to be overhauled in every state. My problem now is that she has manipulated and brainwashed our kid (24 years old) into being a flying monkey. The kid hasn’t spoken to me in over five years.

Spot on!!! Thank you! My girfriend of 3.5 years was doing many of these. I ignored the "Red Flag". Do NOT ignore them. Deal with them. Call them out on it. And if necessary leave the relationship. Toxic and miserable.
Tell a lie until they believe it and make everybody around them believe it
#1 hiding their phone, ipad, computer, financial records
#2 boldly talking about how much they hate cheaters
#3 they disappear for hours or days on end with no explanation. If you confront them, they accuse you of being too sensitive or too suspicious.
#4 they suddenly have a close relationship with someone they're interested in. Coworker or colleague, late night conversations. They accuse you of being insecure.
#5 they start to change their appearance a lot.

So many of these points are exactly what my cheating spouse has done. Not my current spouse as of this second, more like an hour ago. They never take any accountability for what they do either and try to act like they are pissed you found out, and turn it on you! Or completely shut down.

I did find his oyo bookings and all but could not found who he was with ... he used to hide his mobile or would take it to even while he was showering ... he never liked if I picked up any call on his phone ... I beg to differ on the change of appearance one. Mine IS cheating, but he hasn’t worked on his physical appearance AT ALL. If anything, he’s gained weight. I, on the other hand, have turned to working out as a form of self-care and stress-relief, and I’ve LOST weight and toned up… 🤷🏻♀️

My favorite part is where they cry after they've been caught and play the victim. My girl trys to hide it in plain sight 😂. I've come to the point where I don't even care anymore and am actually entertained by it now. She'll never get a ring from me. Sad story. I was really in love with her at one point. But if you're reading this, there's nothing wrong with being a good persom and following your heart. There isn't wrong with trying to work things out with a cheater, what IS wrong is allowing yourself to become a sucker. Put your heart on hood, and make decisions with your brain. These kind of people can't change. It sucks.

Keeping the secret that they are seeing another woman. We even discussed her flirting and I told him she made me very uncomfortable. He held me and said I had nothing to worry about. I said I would talk to her and he told me he would "set her straight" and stop the advances. I trusted him completely and he engaged her flirting behind my back. He was so pissed when exposed. I ruined his "secret" and she got scared her husband would find out. He hates me now and of course, blames me and denies....My God, who are these people?????
#1 was spot on. My soon to be ex wife would always have to have her phone in her hand, I mean literally every moment unless she was sleeping. I started to notice when we were spending time together like watching tv, her phone always had to be face down. My gut told me something was up, eventually went through her phone and saw that she was talking to another guy and going on dates and also seeing her ex and her excuse was “we are just catching up”. Hiding their phone or lying about where they have been is a big red flag. Also the last one changing their appearance. She started to overly dress for a girls night out, or going places just before I was discarded. Her style and appearance did a full 180.
Yup, I went through that same thing!! The phone was a huge issue....She would have her phone in her hand and would go into the washroom with it, especislly to shower. She never left it unattended. Always on her phone and when i brought it up she would blame shift and tell me I'm the one thats always on my phone. Meanwhile, my phone would usually away, in my jacket or in the pocket of the pair of pants I was last wearing. Not only did she alienate me from my friends so I didn't expect calls or txt msg, but I thought is was rude to be spending time together and always be on the phone. Her excuse was she has kids, yeah so do I. 😂

How men were not meant to be true
Always insisting we do every thing he wanted
Never wanting to do things with my family or friends
Jealous that I was accomplished in many professional areas and got awards
That I had lots of friends
That I was able to manage 4 children and our home, plus be active in Church, school, youth groups and other social organizations.
He was afraid I would leave him and how it would ruin his image
He wanted to make me look bad and leave me
Tried to turn our children against me
He died 10 years ago and a lot of this info is just now come to my attention and it explains what was wrong with our marriage for so long.

He would say I was jealous and controlling. That I wouldn't let him have friends. That was not the case. He lied all the time. He always had to supply. He did change his looks and his taste of music. His eating habits even changed

Narcs also want access to your phone 24/7 while denying you the same - then falsely accuse and gaslight to maintain control and put you on the defensive to cover their own actions.
Yeah but look at it from the opposite perspective. If your dealing with a narcissist, abuse devaluing, the last thing you want to do is give them free access to anything at that point. phones, computer, medical dental, past friends, family. Close the hatch to protect yourself once you know they are evil. (Gray rock)They then could counter that by saying ohh can't see your phone you must be cheater. Always a catch 22, they can play both angles. Players will play whatever cards they are dealt.

hiding the bills, taking all bills and retirement and banking to work with him in a locked briefcase,EVERYDAY and taking very long bike rides never including me, leaving me alone for hours on end with 3 children. Disrespectful all the time even in front of the children and extended family. I wish I had found you several years ago. Now that I am almost done with removing the toxicity from my life. How do I heal? I truly think I have PTSD from the 23 years of marriage. The narcissism as I now understand was present even when we were dating.
I'm not a doctor but most probably if you have been with a pathological narcissists or a psychopath most probably you have PTSD . Please , if you feel talk to a therapist about that. I think I've got CPTSD and maybe not only... having been born into a very narcissistic family and having had relationships most of the times with people like this. Maybe your problems are not even belonging to you as maybe depression, anxiety or dissociation...most of the times this problems are not genetic but symptoms caused by traumas, mostly inflicted by these individuals. I don't like being cheated on and have no respect for cheaters. I speak my mind on this and don't cheat. I do know the feeling, and it's devastating . But, I know after yrs and yrs to pay attention. And yes, everything you're saying sounds spot on from what he says.
Even for the recognition *Brian Hacks* gets, his skills is so underrated at least by most tech fans in general. I mean I get that there is stamina and all that involved in things like he does but being able to stand so far away and have the ability get the information needed with high speed as expected to hit it perfectly with a paddle just over the net is extremely impressive.
Sign of a cheater. When you mention something to them that is incriminating they immediately start bringing up things that are old arguments things of distrustful nature. Like they know subconsciously they'r guilty of the crime,but instead deflect it towards their partner in gaslighting techniques. Or simply saying they can do whatever they want because they suspect your guilty of lying to them which your not. Proven over and over again my innocence. But they can't say they are truly innocent of anything but guilt. Strait up guilt and defiant behavior from a narcissist is their form of punishing their partner of the things they are only guilty of doing their partner is usually true to them and not a cheater. They pick their partners well. So much for a happy relationship with a narcissist they don't give you emotionally what you need and you will always have a feeling of you could be doing something more productive and fulfilling with your life and energy. Life with a narc.
Great stuff. I'm in a rut here though. You say before starting any of this, the spouse must end the affair. So in my husband's offense, it's ended but he still talks and texts the woman because they still work together and it's only about work and he no longer has feelings for her😥. I keep trying to make him understand all the above that you mention about my hurt and everything but he doesn't take empathy or compassion in my pain. How can I make him understand that keeping her around is pretty much making me replay the infidelity over and over again and I was able to move on with the help of *Brian Hacks* when he give me access to the text messages.

My ex would always talk about how she would never cheat, hated liars and cheats, blamed her Dad for the family problems as he was supposedly a cheater, told stories of how she was sexually abused by her brother, all her exes were cheaters, liars, sneaks, abusers, would hate on people and then befriend them and prop them up over me. Changed her appearance in a big way. She is such a fraud I could puke. She even played the role of the non drinker knowing I’m over a decade in recovery and yet she is actually a drunk, used drugs, sleeps around a lot, seeks constant validation, lies more than anyone I’ve ever met, childlike, manipulative and deceitful. Very disgusting young psycho/Narc.

He hides hold phone , credit card bill is extremely high for no apparent reason, does not want me to touch his phone , changed passwords, group chats all the time with women late at night! Still fresh and still struggling to believe this devout Christian man could walk out, smearing me to all and sundry and at the same time looks and appears totally innocent and I’ve lost most of my ‘friends’. Wish I could catch him out cheating because everything on this podcast I can relate to concerning him. There are so many red flags as I look back over the years but I can’t prove anything … yet I’m being blamed for making this lovely mans life so hard that he had no choice but to leave….. I turn myself inside out asking myself “was it me, could I have done better, it must be me…”. It’s mental torture yet I still love him and miss him dreadfully and when I see him (we share kids etc) he is nothing but charm and I end up feeling so so confused. It’s been a year since he walked out into his ‘new life’ and I need to move on but I am struggling … I cannot hate
So know my partner is a narcissist. I get lost in all of the info. He accusses me of cheating all the time. I can't even go get gas without him saying it when I get back. So in my defense I feel like I am the one saying I don't cheat and I can't stand cheaters because almost every partner I've had had cheated on me. So I'm confused.
He’s doing it to devalue you, maintain some level of control and get his supply. Protect yourself from his abuse and dump him sooner vs. later. You owe him nothing.
Get out now. As fast and clean as possible. Just get out. You have no idea how bad this can and will get. There are so much worse things than being alone.
He is projecting. Replace the "you" with an "I" when he accuses you and you feel the urge to defend yourself.
The accusations of a narcissist are more admissions of their own behavior than anything else. I was accused for 14 years, for any little reason and was never and never did act unfaithfulness. Guess who was and who did, my ex Marc, and then blamed me for their actions. QUIETLY get out!
Suddenly becoming very close to a co-worker yep, he did that to not one but 3 that I know of, there's probably more. When confronted, gas-lighted me and had me apologizing for not trusting him and even said "what would I do to re-pay him back for my mistrust". And it was always something vulgar, which I never did. Would say partial truths like I have never been with any of those people you mentioned. Wouldn't ever say I have never been with anyone else, it would be "never been with any of the people you have mentioned". Wish I had researched all the red flags I saw at the beginning and throughout this total waste of time, and yes ladies always follow your gut. If he's not out of your life and your thinking you will change him, you won't, not ever. No amount of love or trust or commitment on your part will fix or heal a narcissist EVER! Trust me I tried, it's impossible.
I had a great social life and good friends. Then this narc saw my life and wanted to be a part of it. Unfortunately he couldn’t handle when other guys paid me attention and would abuse/assault me for someone speaking with me.
But, as we know, he was obviously cheating on me with his ex. Thank god I escaped

I’ve seen the signs on what you explained in this video! He would tell me how honest he is, all his past loves cheated on him, he would tell me that everyone tells him he’s a great guy he is, he would always hide his phone around me, he never honestly opened up about personal things, kept thing superficial! He would show off in his vehicles, he liked being centre of attention, the funny, nice guy but he would become quite negative with me
In private. He was always blowing off my thoughts and feelings about things but everything was about him and his issues, he would tell me I’m too sensitive or too this or that! He had sudden friendships with people I didn’t know and how amazing they are! The list goes on but in front of everyone else, he’s the Mr nice guy! After we broke up, my closest friends told me they weren’t impressed with him!
It's disturbing how well my gf of 6 years fits this. She hated cheating and had a back story in which every bf cheated on her. She disappeared for 3 or 4 days at a time, accused me of being crazy, had stupid, repetitive excuses, refused me sex for years on the basis of her health but I later discovered she had been with 2 to 5 other men. My best friend is now the woman who caused me more pain than any other. I'm stuck because I miss her so much but know she was the devil in disguise.

My experience cheating wasn't an issue, though relevant ide put it down the list of abuses. There are worse things like financial abuse, physical abuse, substance abuse, child alienation, smear campaigns, gaslighting, victim playing, false accusations, trust is gone in so many ways. Narcissist will just use other ways like say their now poly or in open relationship.

My ex would "purposely" pick a fight to have a reason to leave the house! Also, his appearance started being priority. He started going to the gym "supposedly!" I would ask if I could go to work out as well and it was always an excuse as to why I couldn't come with him! There's also him being "extra" friendly to the checkout girls. If I said anything about it, he would accuse me of being insecure or jealous! Then there's the times he would tell me how women are flirting with him or always giving him compliments! He made it his business to make sure he told me about it!

5:32 #3 is spot-on what he did to me. He always said he was exhausted because he works two jobs and would immediately fall asleep when he got home, even if it was in the middle of the day.
He wouldn't even bother to just text me "I'm really tired, let's talk tomorrow", but just completely ghost me and then act like I was causing unnecessary friction when I would call him out on it. If I tried to bring up the topic that there was someone else involved, he would either not say anything at all, or he would accuse me of projecting my insecurities on him.
He would want me to come over, ignore my texts or calls the entire day, and then cancel when I was about to go see him, saying that he "needed time to himself".
ALSO! Withholding intimacy for extended periods of time, and then suddenly becoming hypersexual. This was something he did to me, he had no sexual interest in me for six months straight, and then suddenly became hypersexual once the topic of "seeing other people" came up.
