It happens just at the end of a beat and the distortion makes the instrument actually sound like it's being physically distorted. Not only that but the visuals and the audio keep distorting until there's a lower pitch sound playing the same note at a different octave making a demonic chord. It's such a perfect moment.

i think it happens when your GBA crashes, and i think it might be the game trying to interpret game code as audio, causing whatever the fuck this is.

I may be 5 years late but OP wanted to say this was put together beautifully. It’s almost like I was watching an entire stream the way there were no bad transitions to the next parts of the stream. Usually I find videos like these that are just thrown together with no love or care. But this? Absolutely seamless.
