Ugly Drum Smokers Texas Thank You. I enjoy your videos a lot and finally started using UDS parts.com for my drums. I live in northern Ny and ppl are blown away by the quality of product that comes from the UDS. Keep up the great work 👍
haus05 acts as a weight to keep the paper towels from blowing, used to pull your smoker when on casters .. just something different and decorative . You can easily cut a sponge in the circles and put them on the ends to keep the towels from spinning
man i want one of those so badly! love everything (id just want it like dark green metal flake like an old shelby mustang) ! i have a WSM 22.5" and a large big green egg , and a weber Performer deluxe cart kettle but I really want a drum smoker ! with the taller stack intakes that come up the sides !!!
Bill Anglin I buy new Drums, unlined with just a rust inhibitor... I burned the outside which burns of the inhibitor, then I follow up with 80 grit sandpaper inside and out
outstanding cooker!
How many cans of paint did you go through? Looks nice man
James Price that’s VHT Anodized Red .
2 cans VHT Primer
1 can VHT Anodized Base Coat
4 cans Anodized Ref
2 cans VHT Black Pearl
awesome video! where do you get those handles with only 1 bolt hole? the ones you find in the local hardware stores all have 2 holes.
did you make or buy that drum holder? parts list or store please! TIA
What did you spray on before the anodized red? It looks like there was something else used other than the primer.
Ric Bogart I used Anodized Ground/Base Coat . The Anodized paint needs a shiny silver to work properly

Was the barrel lined or unlined? If it was was lined was it food grade and did you have to burn the inside out?
But other then that awesome UBS!!!
