like always...great informative video man. i have a question though, how do i automatically set these multi leaders or blocks that i have already without having to do it every time upon startup. how can i make it so whenever i start a new drawing, these line style, multi leaders, etc are already loaded? thanks!
But how do you copy annotation styles from one drawing to the other? or i guess a better wording would be, If i updated an annotation style in one drawing, and that updated annotation into a new drawing, Since the new drawing already has that style name within it, the drawing will see that new modified style that i brought over as the same as the style that was already in the drawing (because they have the same name), and in turn i wont have the updated version in that new drawing. How do I go around this?
Great content CI! Keep it up. I am a civil engineering student and was doing an assignment for staking a horizontal curve using the deflection angle and cord method (out dated but the professor insists, gahsk!) After doing it By hand I wanted to verify it on cad without creating and alignment. Is there anyway to follow along an arc at a specific length? You could hack it by offsetting the cord length of arc given the radius but that is an extra step of calculation. Hope that makes sense. Again thanks for all the knowledge.
If you change a table-style text from Ariel to Isocpeur, save the table and set current. When using design manager to copy into the next drawing it doesn't change the text style. Any ideas please?
I'm just guessing from your description, but try making a new table style in the original drawing with your settings and then copy it into a new drawing. My guess is that you've edited a default table-style or at least one that is in both drawings (same name), the changes aren't copying over because that style, lets say its called 'default", is in both drawings already, even though the settings are different the style name already exists and hence isn't copied into the drawing. If you make a new one (copy of existing) with a unique name, that style should copy over and be added into the new drawing. I could be off and it's tough to know without having worked on it, but hopefully that helps. Cheers, Brandon
Trying to copy Text Styles from one file to multiple other files. This is not working for me. Would it be because the style I want to transfer is not an .shx style?
I hope you have already found the answer to that. But if not, just open the drawing to which you to copy your style/block and do the "add" thing. It'll work. Good luck.
Still relevant for 2019. Many thanks!
Awesome! Glad I could help and thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi, is possible to replace layer properties as color or linetype between files using the same layer names?
Great content CI! Keep it up.

How to embedded font in DXF file?
Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Way cool!
"Add" is not there when I right-click. Has this process been changed?
I hope you have already found the answer to that. But if not, just open the drawing to which you to copy your style/block and do the "add" thing. It'll work. Good luck.
And you have to right-click on the component you want to add, not on the empty space in the folder. I hope that helps.
Thank you!
Thanks
Not a problem, thanks for watching!
