Excellent tip this week Brandon. I appreciate your taking the time to teach us which helps us all be more productive. Hopefully what you teach us we will in turn teach others. Thanks Gerry / Coquitlam
Thanks Gerry I'm glad they've been helpful! Exactly, that's my goal, to help others with these tips, tutorials etc and in turn hopefully people can then share what they've learned with their teams and junior/new drafters as well. Cheers and have a good one!
GREAT VIDEO MATE! Do you know why sometimes the rotation/nav cube disapears from the vieports? I rotated a viewport's view using that one, but then when I tried on the other ones, the rotation wheel went disappeared.
4th one i use equal as mv setup is 3d 0rb , and then pressing and holding shift, while hovering over circle edge so i get cicle with dot, meaning it will rotate only by plane surface.. then pres andhold left click. .. and rotate as much as you like. i find that way very precise for what i need it.
Once you have changed the orientation of your drawing in the VP, is there a command that you can use to return it to UCS world? Essentially the reverse of what you showed.

This is good! Could you add to you list of video topics- the very annoying drawings that are 3D but you only want 2d. I try to trim lines but they are no coplanar and I want to kill people. Just kidding. Just autocad.

@cadintentions Why do you like the detached number pad? Where do you position it relative to your keyboard? I am a surveyor and use the number pad a ton but I hate my keyboard so I am in the market. Your videos are some of the best out there!! Thank you.
Wonderfully quick and complete tutorial!!! Thank you!
