Based on your description, it's almost a perfect fit (compared to bl3/monarch/sa6) No need to rush tho, since it's not a limited version like SA6 ultra, you may sit and see how other people react to it as well.

I have never owned a pair variation so really cannot comment much on that, but based on FR, variations is on the harman/exciting side, but DaVinci is on the smoother side.

I find them to be lacking in bass when listening with Zero 2, so I want to find something to upgrade to, that isn't $500+

Don't worry, it's not like I'm gone or something. Whenever there's something interesting, I'll most likely, always be there since audio is a long game that I plan to play in life/ with this channel. It's just I'm not prepared to do the same "buy everything that is sub or not even interesting to me and talk about it" kind of trend (you don't see me buying dusk/volare, because they look sub-interesting to the consumer part of me), hopefully in the future I can find a way to do so...?
But as of now, I can only afford doing an audio equipment related video either it's so tempting to the point I swipe for it, or it's a review unit that is at least "good".
PS Yes, at least two manufacturers backed down when they hear that I'll simply ignore/ give a cold shoulder to the review unit if they are not good in today standard.

I don't have a very rigid playlist (you can see in the description in each video, I've written down what I enjoyed listening to, in that specific pair of iem), more like I'm long gone from the day only playing back standardized list of dsd files on my dap, now I most likely listen to whatever I found interesting, but overall, it's among classical, game soundtracks, pops etc.
Please try out the Timsok Ts-316. It is truly amazing sounding and many people don't know about it.

Thank you! That's a very good question as well, and I'd say DaVinci offers a warm but overall still clean kind of natural sound signature with emphasis on bass quality, on the other hand Orchestra lite offers a typical clean BA sounding kind of neutral sound, with more resolution on the top end. Both are really great sounding sets that I'm willing to put it in my rotation of daily drivers. o/

Someone (a reviewer) said on facebook that the soundstage and imaging of DaVinci is "meh".
How do you find it in those regards? Does it have a narrow stage & unprecise imaging?
I don't find any of these problems tho, stage is normal and imaging wise it's as concise as my other daily drivers can be. Maybe it's an eartips problem? I used S&S (M size) on it, and it sounds great. But now I switched to Sancai eartips (M) for better comfort and in ear pressure balancing, sounds even better.

Does Davinci have a wide, immersive sound presentation that wraps around the head, putting you inside the music (particularly when the volume is cranked up)
or
does it present music mostly in front of your face at a distance?

@@phetmoz I'd like to say, it almost sound like a pair of headphones with the sancai tips on it, because the bass is warping you inside a ball of sound, and everything sounds slightly bigger than what you would get out of a pair of iem (but still in iem range).
In fact, it's meaningless to talk in this way because I'm comparing to other iems on hand, but not headphones. Headphones will always sound like headphones, because of physics.
If you expect a pair of iem to sound exactly like headphones, nope, even annihilator won't do that, because it's unnecessary.

@@phetmoz Np, and of course I can simply give you an answer "YES", but please enlighten me how do I give an answer "YES" if every single pair of GOOD iem can do "wide, immersive sound presentation that wraps around the head, putting you inside the music". Without a point of comparison, only someone who doesn't care can give you an affirmative answer.

I have a Dunu SA6mk2, would it be a side grade, up or down grade from that to Da Vinci ?
Micro-detail wise, it's a downgrade, since SA6mk2 has very strong sheer resolution and attack on notes, but I'd say DaVinci is a much versatile set due to tuning.
vs hype 2 that is a 2DD+2 sonion BA at the exact same price ?
Davinci is the best IEM below $300.

I love listening to Rnb and soul. Would this be a good buy? if you have spotify or apple music, could you try listening to Let Me Go by Daniel Caesar? I would highly appreciate it.
The thing is, I have no prior experience on these songs, and the sound signature of this set is so forgiving, it's very possible for me to only have good words on my listening experience. In fact, I did listen to it, and it sounds good, but I feel wrong to say "it sounds good to my ears in the song that im not used to, so it's a good buy".
@@catadegen Fair enough. Thank you for this! It's kinda hard to find people that is in this kind of hobby from my country that's why I rely on reviews most of the time. They love speakers, not much on the HP and IEMs side of this hobby.
How big is the nozzle size?
I don't have a metre to measure it, but it's as big, or slightly smaller than the nozzle on monarch.
@@catadegen How would you compare it to chu 2 or ie200... I have those so I can visualize it better
@@MatMediaTV I don't have ie200, but comparing to chu 2 from memory, it sounds bigger, bass is more distinct and textured, treble is smoother, vocal sounds more organic, overall a lot more technical as well etc... and because chu2 is a single DD, its hard to compare as well.

This vs hype 4?
Hype 4 has stronger bass. Davinci is better for the money though. If you want to buy something more expensive than the Davinci, buy DUSK.
I've never owned a pair of hype 4, so really cannot comment much on that.
Wonder how this will do against the Moondrop Dusk, since that set is probably the biggest competitor for da vinci right now
??? Dusk is arguably the worst of the bunch (sub $500 category of 2024). The hype4 is easily the best and main competitor of the davinci. EM10 is yet to be released but is said to be slightly better than the hype4. There is also the new pilgrims which are also better than the dusks.
Main problem with the dusk is people say it isnt even worth the full retail price. The analog cable is terrible and the dsp cable is scuffed… app hardly works on android devices and there is no app for ios still.

@@FaZeTartpack Yh cable and software may be bad, but that has nothing to do with the iem’s sound. Don’t think it’s a good idea to say dusk is bad when you seemingly haven’t even tried it
@@FaZeTartpack Have you tried the all the iems you mentioned like the hype 4 and pilgrim? If so, how are they better? I haven’t seen any review that straight up said hype 4 and pilgrim are better than the dusk.

I'm subjective. And it's a blessing 3 with a sound signature as I described in the sound part, at $299, I really have no complaint.
Another mediocre V profile? Why can't they release IEMs like the HD650, the HD650 will be anything, except a horrible V profile.
The lows and highs are overrated, what matters is the mids and the more in front the better.
It’s not even v-shaped in today standard, Harman is v-shaped in today standard.
