This time we have gone for a later 2012 CDUC 245 model with a later 7 Speed DSG Gearbox.

At 49 years old I would never have believed that a diesel car could become the most rapid cars on the road .I have owned A lot and a Skoda fabia or all things has changed my way of thinking. A sorted diesel will eat most expensive cars on the road.

Will be interesting to see if the DPF has been hollowed out or not. Also to see what difference your downpipe makes to it performance wise & also sound wise with your exhaust. Looking forward to the comparison video.

Boys how do you know if a car is DSG or cvt? Is it only the quattro that came as dsg and the fwd was cvt? Looking at a6's and I know I dont want fwd but dont want a cvt if that came in quattro also

Great vid! Would you expect similar gains from a 335d (e91) I currently have a JBD but I’ve been looking at proper remapping really.
Yes, maybe a little more with the 335D, but the BiTurbo setups can have a lot of issues as there are various valves, solenoids and actuators that start to fail over time

I've got the lesser powered 201bhp CDAA lump in my 2013 A6 Allroad... Is the turbo from the 245 CDUC a straight swap? I'd like to do the swap then bring it to you guys to map up correctly.
Pretty sure it is a direct fit, email and we can check.

Everything you talk about in this video reassures me you’re one of the best VAG diesel tuners out there! I know I want your remap and parts on my A4. But how will I get it tuned by you, I live in Croatia? Last remap I did on my Golf 7 2.0 tdi DSG R line I got a stage one generic remap by Sedox performance. It’s fine! Haven’t had any problems and the car does feel faster but I want something better for my Audi. Unique custom map at least even though I don’t need or want to squeeze the maximum out, I’d be fine with 310, 315 hp, 675, 680 nm . Please tell me there’s a way we can get this done, if I run the Dino and send you the data along with my ECU could you put together a nice custom DS development remap on it and ship it back to me?

I currently own an Audi A4 S line 2 L TDI... but I used to have a Mondeo ST TDCI. I had it remapped by a place just outside Thetford called Gorse motors, no Rolling Road, didn’t seem to have much knowledge of what they were doing, I say this, as I wanted an EGR delete at the time -and have since read on lots of forums that an EGR delete is not possible on this vehicle, but they assured me they could do it… They “downloaded“ the ECU map, and emailed it to somebody (he didn’t even work on the premises) to write the map for my car… they re-flashed the ECU, within 30 miles the EML was back on… Took it back to them, it got sorted, but, it happened again, took it back to them, with a flashing ECU this time- rather than solid ECU light (which I’ve never seen before) they then re-emailed the map to somebody, re-flashed my ECU, car pulled like a train was really fast, Was very happy, for about three weeks until my car broke down, took it to my local independent garage (really fantastic mechanic who knows his stuff and has been really helpful over the years) heads up Lee at Peter Grubb garage.... turned out I had blown the head gasket and burned a hole through a piston, probably due to overheating....... guess what, due to bad remapping...... so, the point of all this….At least these guys at Darkside developments seem to know what they are doing… Moral of this story, if you are thinking of getting a car remapped do not go anywhere without a rolling road, Who have good knowledge, ...... If they simply download and email your ECU map to some guy to modify it and then flash it back into the car avoid like the fricking plague. I have been burnt and lost a car that I loved -and would never try and do this on a budget again.... remapping and power gains need to be done from somebody who knows what they are doing, I would love to take my Audi to the guys at darkside to sort out a map, but don’t have the cash For that right now…
Unfortunately this is the case for a lot of people but not everyone posts about their experiences. Hopefully people read your post and take your advise :)
👍 really want a 3.0 tdi! Was always impressed by the 2.0 tdi platforms. Have you guys ever messed with v8 TDI powered platforms?
Once you get a 3.0 v6 tdi you'll never go back. The power delivery is just awesome. With all that torque it produces too the pick up is phenomenal.
@@martyn5333 I would love another but had many issues with a 3 litre tdi merc in the past! Dont do enough miles to warrant it! But like you say the power and torque is something else!
@@martyn5333 It goes ok, nothing too mind blowing. At 400 bhp it should really fly.
If you're going to get rid of the grill can i have it please, I have the exact same car in red as well but mine is black edition and i feel the rs5 grill makes it look a lot better!
Or just leave it, it looks amazing with the red and as long as there are no RS5 badges on it i dont see why anyone would hate on it.

Beautiful color, it's not a wrap, is it? The interior also seems to be really nice. Curious though, why buy another b8 a5? Is it because the later one has a better engine and has most of the transmission kinks worked out?
Not a wrap. We felt we had not finished what we started but this one is not plain sailing either!

It all depends on budget!
Is 300bhp realistic on a 2009 3.0tdi with standard turbo, air filter and exhaust ?
320bhp is the max you will get from stock turbo.
300hp is not hard to get depending on dyno!
Ryan I'm looking to swap out the 335d {2007} out this year, Im wanting 4-500ish bhp sleepr but it has to be as near adamn it 100% reliable {my bird drives it mainly} what would you recommend? cheers
Stick with a newer 335d just had a stage one remap with a ew intercooler to keep the temps lower to 419.5 and 764 Nm torque at 2200rpm
If its just a map you want get a Bi-TDI A7 A7 or SQ5 or 335d X-Drive.

@@DarksideDevelopments Not necessarily just a map I'm looking for tbh, I just want to make the right decision in the first place for potential tuning.
@@JackTheLad10 These will have the cheapest upgrade path and the most reliable just sticking with a remap. If you want to modify the car, the 330/430D can do 400bhp and same with the single turbo 3.0 TDI Audi's but you'd be looking at turbo upgrades etc.
Make also a bmw e60 530d ;)

This did before we bought it!
@@ryanp6138 okay, I've just bought an 2009 Audi A4 Avant 3.0 tdi and it seems they only get a decent sound after the dpf has been removed. Cat back exhaust on its own doesn't do much at all it seems

What do you do these projects for? Product/map development? Seems like a fairly old car to be doing than on though, and there's certainly not much profit to be made in doing all this work and reselling
It's R&D..... This is part of their development programme.... Besides its a ton of fun. 👍
