Thomas your channel is a real blessing. I stopped my project and restarted with a new one, because of my bad blender character skills. keep up your videos they are really usefull !! thanks man!
Yo, thank you so much for these tutorials, they are awesome! You are seriously underrated my guy, you're doing such a great job, easy to follow, short and the results are yet amazing
Came across this by chance and glad I did. The pdf will come in handy so thanks for that. I'm a writer above all but I'd like to get into some lighty animated webtoons, shorts, comics and maybe even some light weight games later on. My google search of course is what brought me to this video. Years ago I used a PowerPoint type of program do a webtoon but obviously 2d makes things limited. Currently I'm creating a village for a new comic using a light weight CAD website so we'll see how that goes. The question I have is there a free program or website that I could use that would give me everything I'd need from start to finish to do something like a animated comic ?
when you create the clothing for a character, the process of making it makes complete sense to me but what i dont get is are you combining those clothes models with the character mesh underneath? are the meshes still intersecting or are you using a boolean to remove the extra faces etc? are the clothes combined with the mesh or is it just a parent object type thing? what would be the best way of doing it? i guess what im asking is do you have a video going into detail of how you apply the clothing to your models? sorry if you do and im asking something youve already covered. your vids are great and were the first ones to actually get me back into 3D modelling after a 10 year hiatus, you can skip over things or be a little fast sometimes but overall you do a really great job of breaking things down in layman's terms. thank you
The reason I join them together, I cant remember what I did for this particular model, but usually I delete the skin underneath and then it simplifys the weight painting process
@@ThomasPotter ah i see, how do you combine the clothes to the model, just the usual ctrl + j ? i know i could just go test this when i go back to my model but just incase you have the free time to answer i'd love to avoid that good ol 3D troubleshooting hell. anyway, thanks for the response and the great tutorials, keep up the great work!
Great channel dude ! I really like your style 🙂 I have a question for you: if you are creating a low-poly character with different sets of clothes: should you rig the character naked and then add the clothes. How would you so it ? Thanks 🙏
hi, recently I have started a new game ( 3d shooter ) and i really like thw miniature character if you could say me were i can get it or a tutorial specificly of that character i could really avance becouse i really hard to get one like that. Thanks!!
If I subdivide my low poly model, is that what will make it high poly? I just started 3D modeling and I want to make my own Mario model, and maybe my own character for my animated TH-cam videos.
You have done a great but thare is a request. I am struggling with character leapsing so I was wondering if you can teach how to do leapsing for character that will be a great help . And by the way your content is best thank you for that.😸☺️😊💯💗👉👈
hey, i have a question concerning importing into UnrealEngine5. Sometimes when i import into Unreal i noticed that the meshes i import are transparent from the outside and visible from the inside which is notttt what i want, no the problem is not the normals i already checked them and all of them were blue. i also tried to import it texture-less but it still doesn't work. I've been using the fbx format but i already ran out of ideas for why could it be doing that. Do you have any ideas what causes that?

"Well, no more!". and then all my problems disappear. Thanks man
this guy is way underrated, thank you
Very splendid. I hadn't known the low-poly style could be so good for topology purposes.
Thanks man. This one video answer all my questions
Glad to hear it!

Yeah, rig it first so the weights can be copied onto each clothing if you duplicate parts of the body
@@ThomasPotter thanks dude !
Do you have a good ressource in mind to learn this step of model creation ?
Perfect thanks a lot you make it looks simple
Blessed that n0tail from dota2 taught me how to use blender.
💀
You got a new sub ggwp keep it up! 🤜🤛
Thanks!
Do you happen to have a tutorial on the character of the Video Thumbnail? I like the style
No I just made the character for fun
This is exactly what I need, Keep it up!!!

Ah, I never made a tutorial on it. It was just something I quickly made

No

Sorry you got no reply on this till now, but sorta. It will certainly add more polygons but you will still have to sculpt it afterwards to refine it
