I just discovered your channel. You have a new fan in me. I have been to your beautiful country a few times, once to Bangkok, 3 times to Phuket and Pattaya. I really enjoyed my limited time there. It was during the years I was in the US Navy. Everyone I met locally was very kind to me. They really made me feel welcome. Honestly, I just couldn't get a grasp on the Thai language, but I did try. It's very challenging. I found that even though I couldn't get it right, just my effort in the attempt to learn, the locals really opened up to me a lot more from my attempt. I do hope to return some day.

Hello, Earn. Subscriber here from Canada since the start of your channel. Your video content is very accurate. Years ago, I lived and worked in China, and did much of what you mentioned in the video. Was humble, showed interest in their culture, was respectful as a guest in their country, decent physical shape, and spoke some putongua mandarin. Met a lot of ladies. Your English is also improving quite well over time, I've noticed. Thanks for doing these videos. They are very helpful.

I have a friend that went to Thailand on vacation. He fell in love with a girl there, she convinced him to get married and sell his house to move there. after 6 months, She took it all from him. He was so depressed, He lives in a mental institution on suicide watch. He is only 39 years old. They really did a number on him. I hope this story helps someone thinking of moving there for a girl

Sorry hear that but He Go holiday fell in love 🧐 probably a bar girl in Pattaya . (Not only me every TH-camr say becareful bar girl . Other things he was sell his house and live there . This is his very bad decide . He is 39 should have to think 🤔 Here need full story because there is million peoples play gambling and loose everything what l understand it was his game with wrong people. In Thailand last 20 years per years over 10.000 foreigners men married a Thai’s girls sadly there is some sad story but some kind of bad experience is everywhere in every country. So lm here to telll peoples be more smart with videos by the way foreigners and Thai girls devorce rate 20 time less than usa 🇺🇸 avarage you will see in my next video probably post today. For to move Thailand 1-) need work like Teacher in Thailand 2-) or need online work 3-) Have financially power create work without sell house or sell everything 4-) Best for Retirement. Because when you retired you have limited stability income and peoples expectations always limited until wanna do something extra.

But what Thai women do to farangs do we have to forget that or keep in our minds. You have good and bad people all over the world. So this video doesn't just apply for Thailand. If you go on holiday or live in a country just adapt to the country. But do foreigners adapt to our way of living in Europe? No, we must give in on how we live in our European countries. Woke culture in Europe is havely present. I don't see that happening in Thailand. That's why I love being there because you know there are rules, and that's what foreigners in Europe forget because they make their own rules. Amen 🙏

Personallly wouldn't want to scare any Thai people , we have a lot Authentic Thai restaurants here in Chicago,IL USA . They have the famous dish Pad Thai ( spicy ) with homemade peanut sauce and many other dishes. They know our Western culture here and when I greet them , hello I ask how are you and they respond in kind . So if I ever travel to Thailand I'll keep in mind of what you say.

Fantastic video; I am grateful to see that you are simply breaking down what most Thai people are like,
My wife is Thai and, by far, one of the nicest, most kind-hearted people I have ever known. I was raised to treat people how they treat me. With that in mind, most people in Thailand automatically get my polite, friendly side; most people are lovely and genuine. People only see bad manners from me in a Tourist area when they are trying to rip me off. (Most of those people are rude and pushy and usually aren't Thai anyway.)

just came back from there. Yes the family eats on the floor because that's just what they do. they know I can't do that so I sit at the table and a pew will sit with me so I am not feeling alone. and they rotate through LOL who is going to sit with me. even though I speak more Thai now than I did the last time we visited I still am like a baby. and Esan Thai is different than what I'm learning in Bangkok. it's beautiful out there vibrant and green and the rice is almost ready for harvesting.

I learned it is mostly the Local men that have Inferior complex against Foreigners that take the best looking women. Western men have more money, Taller, bigger, Stronger, more education. I got invited to a vietnamese party once by a vietnamese friend and all the men were talking shit about me. I understand basic vietnamese but didn't tell anyone. Later my friend came up to me and told me his friends were all talking shit about me. I told him thank you for letting me know. Enough to say He never even make an attempt to correct his friends because I was an invited Guest and they were all treating me like shit. This is True thailand, phillipines, Vietnam, and almost everywhere else. Enough to say I dissolved my friendship with that guy. The women usually are not as bad as the men. The reason these people do this is because of Jealousy and greed. That same type of shitty mindset is what keeps them down and not improve themselves. I still think it is a good Idea to learn basic language to stay away from these people. Not everyone is the same. Some of them are very good people.

I think you’re right in every aspect of this topic.. The problem here in Italy as well is that people in holiday they think everything is allowed because they are paying for it, they don’t understand there is a limit (some of them, not everybody tnx god) my feeling is that some people they always feel smarter or superior then locals, not understanding the reality of the culture of the place they visit. Here in Sicily We are very similar with Thai people and We care a lot about respect, most of the tourist they don’t get it because in their own country being rude is everyday normal. Some people measure their "importance" by the level of noise they make - the loud motorcycle syndrome. I visited Thailand only once, one week in Bangkok. I did not speak any thai, and I figured out that English is not common there. I went into a site to find someone who would speak english, and I did. Once in Bangkok, I told her straight that I do not know much about Thailand, and the capital city would be a good start. I let you show me your city. Incredible the way she did. She made so much time for me and took me to many interesting places. She never asked for money. I wanted to get her something and had to insist to take her shopping. She picked the cheapest pair of shoes! I do not go to bars, and I am exposed to many cultures.
    That was a fantastic week.
If you go to bars, you meet bar girls
If you go to the swamp, you run into crocs

Arrogance is not directly tied to wealth or country of origin. Ignorance is not directly tied to ethnicity, either. There are good and bad everywhere. There is beauty and ugly everywhere. Anywhere in any country if you step out of line you run the risk of feeling pain. Being kind and courteous costs nothing but is valued by those on the receiving end. Here is my tip for citizens of Earth: Spread positive vibes and positive vibes return to you, and vice versa. Otherwise, if you FA then you FO.. that is every country and not just Thailand.

American culture is: wife do Laundry, wife cooks dinner, wife cleans house, wife on top, and do Boom Boom x3 per week, and most importantly, in summer wife mows lawn, in winter wife shovel snow from driveway 😁 BTW you are so very beautiful, and your is English pretty good too, smart girt👍

My Thai lady of 8 years asks for nothing, she would rather I save my money for when I visit her so we can have a good time. 555555
