@@JelloPlaysVideoGames The point is that, whatever system opens the cells when there is a emergency needs to work with no power at all. Including detecting that there is a emergency. I've played the demo in Spanish, and it's a lot more obvious in that localization; instead of "Temsik," it's "Onitsed," which even an idiot like me would realize is "Destino" backwards. That's how I figured out the Temsik-Kismet connection the first time
~32:30 Towards the beginning of the game, Ray mentions that tine is paused when you’re in the Ghost World. Since you have to be in the Ghost World to have those mental interactions, it would stand to reason that time is paused.
Already commented this on first vod, but I looked into Cabanela's speech pattern in Japanese version. Apparently he uses random English words in his speech (such as "lovely", etc) which I assume they localized with him putting emphasis on certain syllables. Also interesting note is that unlike Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick actually takes place in Western country (it's not spesified where, but I assume it's English speaking nation) as almost characters have the same name in both versions, only major character being Kamila, who is called Kanon in Japanese version.
Ace Attorney takes place in the west. In the west. It's in LA, in the localized versions. An alternate version where anti-Japanese sentiment wasn't as strong in America, so the west coast wound up with a lot more Japanese immigration. Some have speculated that this means the World Wars never happened there.

To be fair, if your power goes out because of a fire in the prison, you probably want the locks to disengage automatically. Imagine an IRL scenario where a bunch of prisoner perish in a fire because there was no emergency release mechanism in a power outage.
A Freudian slip is when you accidently say something that shows how you truly feel. I honestly can't think of what replacing "nobody" with "a body" implies about how Will feels about this scene. Unless you're referring to how Will is used to saying stuff like that in Ace Attorney, in which case that's not a Freudian slip
2:28:39 - I don't think that the dialogue implied that she would always dodge, especially since you clearly would've just hit her with the chandelier at that range instead of getting her stuck in it. This was a bit frustrating considering that catching her is the only thing that makes any sense with that you can do.
So like.. I feel the need to say, but aren’t all prison cells just made that way? wit two lines of power for cell mates to escape in an emergency situation. Keeps prisons from just being glorified tombs for inmates.
