How in god's name rublev won that match?? He was down and out 5-4 in the third after a intense 9 games ! I thought Giron would have easily served it out to a tired rublev ! Considering what health problem he has for the whole tournament! Any other top-10 player would withdrew after first match to recover, after what Rublev body was suffering off, but this guy was spending half a day in hospital, then, before the gamesvhe was taking some painkilling shots + some antibiotics and went on playing...and of course his throat became so inflamed that it was half closed from inside, so he ate only child food first week. I can't understand how he was breathing during his matches?? Sometimes your whole lungs breath isn't enough, but with almost closed throat it's crazy hard. Then his finger on the foot got so swollen that he couldn't put his sneakers on and doctors again put many shots to calm down this infection in finger and by the end of the tournament I guess his body after all this meds + this strange virus started to come out of him, so half of his body got covered in blisters, so they were popping those "water bubbles" which actually were pretty painful when he put the shirt on. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

It was a juicy, sun-kissed Saturday of tennis. Hubi was the star of the day for how he scalped Baldal & was unbothered by that forehand which kept landing right in his strike zone. For those who were asking, Nada pushed past the ATP guy & declined the scheduled celebration on court. Elsewhere, the BuBenik Plague survives! Loving this new doubles pairing & the crowd was eating it up! USA did well today, so that's nice.
What else happened? Demon ate up Carby Banana with the quickness. Olive Oil was in a rancid head space, but fought through against Strife. Ruby's match was SO stressful. Gironimo was all over his 2nd serves, but the Gem prevailed. A dismal 39% in the 1st set. Runes rinsed Nardi's pasta. Two young bucks in their early 20s going at it & reminiscing over defeating You-Know-Who; that was a raucous affair. Koffer, H&M, Jarring, Etch-&-vary, Muller Device, & Bias all had good wins as well.

Unpopular opinion, I think it’s not a wise decision for Andrey to exhaust his body like that. He has reached pinnacle of his career by winning Madrid, next step is to go deep in Roland Garros, he won’t be seeded in top four before RG, and can’t win Rome with an exhausted body, what’s the point of abusing his body further? He is still on antibiotics and he bet again his body will allow him stretch to the limits, reckless move as a top player. If he played on daylight, situations could worsen quickly. I’m always very confused why he says he “plays for the kids”, while many of his reactions are not very kid role model
