I am envious. I wish I could be watching all of this stuff for the first time. Watch Rafa vs Zverev 2022 French Open Semis. The first set tie break was vintage Nadal
Kygrios: hits a winner or wins the point, "yep, see" pulls shirt slouches, walks 'tough'. also kyrgios: Rafa hits a winner , "shakes head, looks at box, mouths wtf! shakes head again, keeps shaking head until returning next serve"
Sad that the rib fracture Rafa suffered in his SF vs Alcaraz tanked his chances of winning Indian Wells 2022 - he just had one more match to go, the final against Fritz, and he would've won his 4th IW title and kept his unbeaten start to 2022 alive with 4 straight hard court titles. Oh well, at least the Matador came back and won the FO 2022 - on his gimpy left foot no less! What a warrior.
Kygrios his skill is good, but while he's being a part-time tennis player, he does not manage his stamina he does not excercise off the court, and when Nadal plays baseliner keeping the rally long, Kygrious cannot follow up the rally and lose the match in the end.
Some say Kyrgios is incredibly talented and should belong to the top. In tennis talent is at least 50% mental. Physical assets are just not enough. Moreover, when mental weakness comes with rudeness it is just painful to witness.
Nadal is such a good player, Kyrgios is been always a clown, inmature, always checking if he is on screen, lousy behaviour. A champion is made of a mature brain and respect for the game. NO wonder why he is not on the first 20 players ranking
Rafa things about tennis 24/7, i have no clue how he will live without it. I heard Roger got depressed, but Roger has a more relaxed type of personality, he is a goofball. Different with Rafa, I am afraid Rafa will have some serious consequences after he quits. The majorities of tennis players, at his age and his physical conditions would have hung the tennis racquet. Thats shows how hard it is for him to quit. It is a major addiction for him, like someone being on drugs and will have to quit from 1 day to another. Same with Novak, both are addicted ! It is VERY HARD TO LET GO !!
A great match :) ...The one-handed forehand used by #Kyrgios is basically a wrist shot; with the power behind this shot it's not surprising he has an RSI-type of wrist injury.
It was a seriously torn ligament. he has just picked up and held a racquet with his right hand for the first time in eight months after surgery. Of course most people say he was pretending to be injured...
@@sportslover2356 Thanks for the info, and wishing him all the best. Seeing as his wrist was injured so seriously my advice, for what it's worth(?), would be to try to modify his shot as much as possible to avoid further injury.
