Deadpool breaks the 4th wall cause he knows he is in a comic book or in this case a movie and as for his powers he basically can't die at all.

Deadpool's healing is the 2nd strongest in all of Marvel, and substantially faster than Wolverine's. So Wolverine if he had an arm cut off would take like 6 hours (not exact time just showing how much better Deadpool's is) to grow back, Deadpool's would take like an hour. Wolverine supposedly of he gets hit head taken off or a bullet through the brain he would die, Deadpool if a single cell of his body is left he will completely heal from it. In the comics Deadpool has true immortality not because of his healing but the physical embodiment of Death finds him annoying and has banned him from entering her realm. And just an FYI the Hulk has the strongest healing factor, he is damn near invulnerable so it's very rare he gets injured but if the Hulk had an arm cut off it would heal back literally faster than you can blink an eye. Maybe the darkest story in the comics is the Hulk is the only being alive on earth like a million years in the future but there are creatures that have evolved to be able to feed on the Hulk, every day all day the Hulk is literally ate alive his flesh constantly regrowing as it's ate by these creatures.

Technically he isn’t “burned”, what it is, is his healing factor is attacking his cancer, and it went to his skin, so technically Deadpool’s skin is a giant tumor.. that’s how the comics explained it..

"You will come talk with Professor Xavier."
"McAvoy or Stewart? These timelines can get so confusing."
Fun Fact: While filming, Ryan Reynolds visited sick kids, via Make-A-Wish foundation, as Deadpool.
Art Imitates Life Fact: Ryan Reynolds revealed that the taxi driver character Dopinder (Karan Soni) was named after "a really cool guy" he knew in elementary school who died when hit by lightning. The character was meant to be a tribute to him.
Not A CGI Costume Fact: The Deadpool costume originally had a muscle layer underneath but it had to be removed. Ryan Reynolds was so muscular, the costume was not only too tight for him, but it made him look overlarge. Ryan Reynolds was allowed to keep his Deadpool costume after filming had completed. Technically he didn't ask to, nor did he give anyone the chance to take it from him. When 20th Century Fox found out about this, the studio just let him keep it.
Jump Starter Fact: A three-minute test reel was shot in January 2012 in an attempt to convince the heads of the studio to move forward with the movie. On August 1, 2014, the footage was released (aka: LEAKED) to the public and, based on the overwhelmingly positive response from fans, the film finally began production. The footage was so popular that part of it was recreated for the actual film. This included the opening scene with Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) on the highway which leads to the fight scene in the car.

His face isn't burned, it's the reaction to the drug. He looked like that before the lab exploded.

Actually it’s the cancer, his skin is now a giant tumor… at least that’s how the comics put it..

@@MegaWizeguy no it is the cancer, that is literally how the comics defined why he looked like he does. His power is out of control cancer continually regenerating everything.

    Great reaction!
Spoiler: Your question about his head getting cut off, would his body grow back is actually answered in Deadpool 2.
Also, remember to watch the after credits scenes like most Marvel movies. They're amazing!

I’d definitely say watch the X-Men movies first or at least Logan lol. There’s a spoiler for Logan in DeadPool 2.

In the comics, Deadpool was literally pounded into a blood stain on the ground by he Hulk, and he, eventually, regenerated from that.

If you've seen Game of Thrones, the actor that played Francis was Daario Naharis in it.

I'm not a Deadpool expert but my understanding is he looks like that because he is covered in tumors head to toe. Because he had cancer before getting his healing mutation it "recognizes" the cancer as part of him so it heals the harm the cancer does but also heals the cancer hence the tumors.

Deadpool still feels the pain, he's basically used to it by now. He is way more sane in the movies than in the comics, I'd argue Wade Wilson in the comics is the most insane character in all of comics including the Joker. Every time Wades brain gets injured it heals, but has basically made him insane. No one is 100% sure of his real name, his real back story ect as he has told many different versions of everything, sometimes he's almost incoherent. He's literally insane.

Subbed! You should check out Gangs of New York. Really good film, and another must see, There Will Be Blood. Both slightly different, but with Daniel Day Lewis in both, definitely some of the best acting out there

Don't forget, there are extra scenes hidden in the credits in most movies involving Marvel Characters. That is the case with Deadpool 1 & 2 also.
