His skin doesn't get better because the mutation hit his cancer too. Now his body forms and heals the cancer equally fast. He will never die from the cancer, but it keeps forming and being healed repeatedly by his abilities.
The opening of "Deadpool 2" has a huge spoiler for "Logan", so don't watch DP2 until you have seen "Logan". Watch the first 6 X-Men movies and all 3 Wolverine movies before DP2. edit - If you watch DP2, watch the "Super Duper Cut" extended version.
The skin thing is never fully explained in the movie, but in the comics is basically explained as his healing factor regenerates his cells, which in turn regenerates his cancer, and the two are always fighting in a balance. His cancer is always multiplying and his healing factor always stops him from dying. The mottled skin is actually cancerous skin, it covers his whole body. It has been implied in the past that his humour is just to help him cope with how much pain he is always in.
I would disagree…. My 13 year old is smarter than that because of David exposing them to different movies. I just never found it fun sitting for two hours watching movies. Now I know I have missed out on so much. 😂 - Toni
Incase no one told you or her but DP is immortal in the comics as well as he knows he is a comic book character. Also they say in one of the comic panels that Deadpool looks like a cross between Ryan Reynolds and a sharpie which is more reason to me that this is his perfect role.

They don’t explain it well in the movie, but his cancer is also affected by his healing factor, so he’s riddled with cancer that heals at the same rate as his healthy cells. And that’s why his skin looks like that.

It's been in my top 5 movies of all time since I saw it. I found it at my local library due to it's rarity. Luckily I came across a copy at a yard sale. Go in blind. It’s funny Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. Kinda like how Samuel Jackson was to model for Nick Fury. 25:39 that was a dig at 20th Century Fox cause they didn’t want to make the movie. They paid for test footage and planned to shelve it but it got “leaked” and they had to make it cause of all the fan base taking about it. They didn’t give it a big budget and wouldn’t pay the writers to be on set for any changes so Ryan Reynolds paid the writers to come out. 27:37 check out the “I” in Francis. Deadpool left a special message for Francis. 30:17 it’s supposed to be like the Helicarriers in the MCU but couldn’t say it was cause they are two different properties. Now that Disney bought 20 Century Fox and gave Marvel back the characters that Fox had licensed from Marvel they can now use and refer to them in other films now. I think Sony is the only one now that still has exclusive rights to some Marvel characters.
Have Toni watch him on Free Guy. I think she'll like it more and probably back to London king Ryan again. As for superhero movies, I'm sure she'd love Captain America.
Maybe Toni would like something a bit more lighthearted and tame even though it's ultimately a murder mystery. I recommend *The Thin Man* from 1934. Superhero movies: The Shadow ('93) The Phantom ('95) Superman (Christopher Reeve of course) Doc Savage (hero but not superhero) Howard The Duck (weird but fun) Flash Gordon Buckaroo Bonzai Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (80's) Buffy the Vampire Slayer ('92)
Toni might prefer these other Ryan Reynolds movies: "The Hitman's Bodyguard" (2017) w/ Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman "Red Notice" (2021) w/ Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot "Smokin' Aces" (2006) "Life" (2017)
Toni deserves kudo's for being such a good sport. I enjoyed watching her reactions as much as I enjoyed the movie! My suggestion for her next super-hero journey would be deeply immersing herself into Jason Momoa as Aquaman!
The reason for his appearance is all the cancer cells, but because of his insane healing, he doesn't die. He is basically a walking tumor that heals just as fast as new cancer cells forms. And like him, the cancer can't die either.

30:14 Its not a Helicarrier but its supposed to be a Helicarrier but its not. ;) * "No, it's clearly not the Helicarrier," Miller said with a smirk to Collider. "I just want to say for the record, there's a lot of groups in the Marvel universe who use flying combat platforms. It's not just the Helicarrier. A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) has some. It could have been anything but a S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Because that would be outside of the purview of the Fox/Marvel arrangement." -Tim Miller
I am confused though, if you know Toni absolutely isn’t going to enjoy it in any way at all, what made you choose it? I actually don’t know how anyone can’t enjoy this myself. It’s tragic that Toni doesn’t get any references in this movie, it’s so damn clever.😊
Superhero movie may be more Toni's speed I suggest Captain America First Avenger. A Ryan Reynolds action movie Toni may like more I suggest The Adam Project. One his that is a favorite of mine is The Hitman's Bodyguard. There is a scene that he is venting about his co-star Samuel L Jackson's character that has me rollin every time I see it.
I like Deadpool #1 very much, despite some misgivings. I like that the writers alluded to the IDF's genocidal practice of "mowing the lawn" -- it was cryptic, but significant, just as Wade's distaste for special-ops soldiering was significant (the modern version of soldiering being going to other, relatively defenseless nations and butchering civilians -- or maybe you don't know as many OIF veterans as I do). But regardless of how much I enjoy DP #1 (especially the scenes with Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead vs. Angel), I would never drag my wife or mom or sister to this film, or contemplate making them watch it with me at home. My taste is my own, and I don't require my loved ones to share it -- or suffer through it, as Toni clearly did. That said, I realize this is a job for you two, and employment usually means doing things one doesn't particularly enjoy. My suggestion: You two charming folks should take turns asking one another to expand his/her cinema horizons. For every Deadpool or Airplane you endure, there should also be an Enchanted April or Amadeus. Share the wealth/pain -- the key to a successful marriage!

Y’all should see Ryan Reynolds in National Lampoons Van Wilder …. It’s like wade wilson in college
I've recently found your channel and have been binging your videos. You two are such a cute couple. Great reactions. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!! Welcome to the channel!
Toni is too pure for Deadpool, what the heck is wrong with you showing her this 😂😂😂
😂
Superman with Christopher Reeves Toni might like that one??!!
If you’re trying to get her into super heroes 🦸🏻♀️??
Someday! 😃
I'm sorry, David but I think your enjoyment of Deadpool had Toni questioning her life choices. :D
Maybe a little. 😂 -David
Oh boy!
Oh boy is right.... that was something else. - Toni 🤓
Well... Community poll... "Should she watch Deadpool 2"
Everyone... "Yes".
I'll see what I can do. 😂 -David
@@popculturallychallenged I love how down to earth you are. There is a movie very rarely reacted to because it's very difficult to find. I personally think you would both love it. So... If you can find The Fall (2006) by Tarsem Singh... I GUARANTEE you will find it is a great movie for the both of you. It's not horror or crude humor. It's been in my top 5 movies of all time since I saw it. I found it at my local library due to it's rarity. Luckily I came across a copy at a yard sale. Go in blind. I know you will both enjoy the story.
Poor Toni - enduring the torture.
Yep, she was a good sport about it. 😃
For people that have no clue who deadpool is a blind reaction will be a mind f
😳 - Toni
You guys should Watch the X-Men Movies.
She will Appreciate way More, I bet !
Deadpool the movie is perfectly normal superhero movie. Deadpool the character is not regular superhero character.
Maybe Toni would like something a bit more lighthearted and tame even though it's ultimately a murder mystery.
I recommend *The Thin Man* from 1934.
Superhero movies:
The Shadow ('93)
The Phantom ('95)
Superman (Christopher Reeve of course)
Doc Savage (hero but not superhero)
Howard The Duck (weird but fun)
Flash Gordon
Buckaroo Bonzai
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (80's)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer ('92)
Toni might prefer these other Ryan Reynolds movies:
"The Hitman's Bodyguard" (2017) w/ Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman
"Red Notice" (2021) w/ Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot
"Smokin' Aces" (2006)
"Life" (2017)
Toni deserves kudo's for being such a good sport. I enjoyed watching her reactions as much as I enjoyed the movie! My suggestion for her next super-hero journey would be deeply immersing herself into Jason Momoa as Aquaman!
Thank you for watching with us. I've never seen Aquaman so putting it on our list. - Toni 🤓
The reason for his appearance is all the cancer cells, but because of his insane healing, he doesn't die. He is basically a walking tumor that heals just as fast as new cancer cells forms. And like him, the cancer can't die either.
Watch these Comedies: (Real Movie) It’s Hard Not to Love Mrs. Doubtfire, The Ringer, Date Night, TH-cam Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy, TH-cam Jo Koy : Don't Make Him Angry ,Air Bud and Buddies Movies , You Don't Mess with the Zohan
30:14 Its not a Helicarrier but its supposed to be a Helicarrier but its not. ;)
*
"No, it's clearly not the Helicarrier," Miller said with a smirk to Collider.
Deadpool 3 will be his integration into the MCU.
I'm looking forward to seeing that one! -David
Toni was such a trooper through all the Sexual situations and innuendo
That she was! 😃
it's ok Toni, dark humor isn't for everyone. besides, there are 10's of thousands of other movies that will be more up your ally
Thank you!
I think she probably should’ve watched X-Men first…. 😅
Got a couple chuckles out of her...
You have to do the second movie now. Not as many jokes, but a more well written story.
I am confused though, if you know Toni absolutely isn’t going to enjoy it in any way at all, what made you choose it? I actually don’t know how anyone can’t enjoy this myself. It’s tragic that Toni doesn’t get any references in this movie, it’s so damn clever.😊
I was holding on to a sliver of hope that I could get her to watch Deadpool and Wolverine when it comes out. 😂 -David
What about Batman Begins and the rest of TDK trilogy? And other DC films? The Batman, The Joker, Man of Steel...
I'm hoping to introduce her to those at some point too! 😃
Deadpool akin condistion isn't from his mutatuin they did other experiments on him thst caused that
It is actually part of MCU!
MCU = Marvel Cinematic Universe? - Toni 👍🏼
Just watched your Forrest Gump reaction! Idk if you guys have seen seven pounds, but that is a really good movie I'd recommend.
Thank you! We haven't seen that but we'll add it to our list!
