1. This version of Lucifer is based on DC's Lucifer, who also crosses paths with the likes of The Sandman and Constantine. However, for the most, this show is entirely its own separate thing. 2. This show, ironically, is a complete miracle. It not only survived getting seemingly cancelled multiple times, but it also manages to stwy pretty consistent in quality throughout its 6 season run. (Although Seasons 2, 4 and 5 are widely considered the best) 3. Tom Ellis is *the goat* of this show. Don't get me wrong, ALL the actors in this show are great, but he, and his depiction of Lucifer, is 100% the main reason fans kept coming back.
Yessssss I rarely see anyone reacting to Lucifer and it is a masterpiece of a show ❤❤❤ Here's the main thing about Lucifer, he doesn't fit the character we all are taught from the Bible, and even the show is self-aware of it. Lucifer in the show cares about the innocent and absolutely hates liars.
Lucifer isnt just any regular angel he's an archangel and they are the strongest and highest ranking angels along with his big brother Amenadiel, and the woman who works at the bar is Maze also known as Mazikeen The first daughter of lilith the Demon Queen and she's a general in Hell Maze is basically his first hand assistant, body guard even though he doesnt need one. Also Demons dont have a soul so if she dies she just dies but she is immortal technically too since she's basically already dead.

I love this Lucifer, he's not a bad person, just the divinely appointed warden of the spiritual prison of Hell. He prefers people to be actually good, it makes his job easier.
Wow, where do I even begin with Lucifer Episode 1? Right from the opening scene, I was completely captivated by the unique premise. The idea of the Devil taking a vacation from Hell and living in Los Angeles is such a fresh and intriguing take on the character of Lucifer Morningstar. Tom Ellis's portrayal is incredibly charismatic; he effortlessly balances charm with a hint of vulnerability that makes the character incredibly relatable, despite his dark origins. I found myself laughing at his witty lines while also being drawn into the more serious moments where we see the conflict within him. It's fascinating how the show blends comedy with deeper philosophical questions about sin, redemption, and what it truly means to be good or evil. The dynamic between Lucifer and LAPD detective Chloe Decker is already showing signs of being a central theme that I think will be explored beautifully throughout the series. The chemistry is palpable, and I can see how their relationship will add layers to the narrative. Chloe’s skepticism towards Lucifer introduces a much-needed contrast to his hedonistic views, and I love how it sets up the potential for character development. Not to mention the supporting cast! Each character brings something unique to the table, adding depth to the storyline. The detective work intertwined with supernatural elements is a clever way to keep things engaging and unpredictable. I was pleasantly surprised by how the show tackles serious themes while maintaining a light-hearted tone. The humor is sharp, and the writing feels clever without being pretentious. There’s a certain joy in watching a show that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still manages to engage you on a deeper level. The production quality is also impressive, with beautiful cinematography that perfectly captures the glamorous yet gritty vibe of Los Angeles. The music choices enhance the overall mood; I caught myself nodding along to some fantastic tracks that fit the scenes beautifully. Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed after just one episode! I can't wait to see how the characters evolve and what dilemmas they face as the series progresses. I can already tell this show will be a rollercoaster of emotions, offering laughs, suspense, and perhaps even moments of introspection. Looking forward to binge-watching more episodes!
